Photoshop Elements

Hi! Can anyone help? I had an old version of photoshop elements on my old laptop (disc version) and I've had to upgrade my laptop and has no disc drive to reinstall. I don't use it a lot so not willing to pay monthly/annual fees. Is there a version of elements that can be downloaded for a one off payment? Thanks 

Hi guys, im wondering if anyoine can answer if its possible to install or use external presets on PE 23? and if so are there any videos of how you get them loaded in/ installed? I'm obviously a pure rookie so any help would be much appreciated, Barry

I had someone send me a few files (PDFs) that they needed me to touch up the images in those files. I was able to open the PDF into APSE19 and have the images on different windows/tabs in photoshop, then moved them all to one new file to work on (saving the psd inbetween). Now that I'm done with the file, I needed to save all 30+ images into separate files to send back and I thought there was away to export several layers as images... but the option under File is greyed out. I could just simply save each layer one by one with the other saving functions but the exporting would have been faster. Is there any reason why "export" would be greyed out? 

Hello!I have read MANY books and articles on how to do a channel swap for red/blue and it is THE primary reason I purchased Photoshop. However, ALL of the Youtube and ebooks deal with all versions of PSE EXCEPT this latest version! Can ANYONE help me with this problem?? thanks, Chuck

I posted a query about the interface (window resizing and double spaced file tree) which had several likes but no answers so far - hopefully someone from Adobe will address. I hope it was not a deliberate decision to "fix" something that wasn't broken.  On initial installation PSE2024 found my PSE2021 catalog and appeared to import it. However the vast majority of it simply wasn't there, and most folders were not shown.  As I have 18k+ photos the vast majority tagged to my satisfaction, it is imperative that I do not lose it and keep the ability to use 2021 until any further issues with 2024 are resolved (or I ask for my upgrade fee to be returned !)  So: I uninstalled 2024 and any apparently 2024 related catalogs were removed.  I then reinstalled 2024 with a new named catalog "2024 install" which is empty.   My question is how do get it to use my 2021 catalog without making changes to it that will stop it being used by 2021 if I decide not to co

Just retired and have more time for photography and post processing.I have Photoshop Elements 9 cd rom for Windows & Mac and am considering what to upgrade....It's my intention to move from Windows laptop to MacBook very soonMy questions:1. Is it possible to upgrade to the latest version of Elements when my intention is to move to Mac OS?2. Does the upgrade path need the original software already installed on the target laptop?In my case, Elements 9 is installed on my Windows 10 laptop but I'd like to switch to the Mac platform when I've bought a MacBook.I see that I can pay £70.91 for an upgrade online but it forces me to choose Windows OR Mac.I'd hate to buy the Mac upgrade only to find that I cannot install it on the new MacBook. 3. Does anyone know if there's a tutorial on how the upgrade is applied?4. Is it best just to purchase the new version when I get the MacBook? Sorry if I'm repeating often asked questions but I could not find any similar question. Thanks

Kann man in PE 21 im Gerade-Ausrichten Werkzeug (P) die Farbe der Linie anpassen? In dieser Version ist die Farbe der Linie in Grau. Dadurch ist das Werkzeug in vielen Bildern wegen des fehlenden Kontrasts der Linie kaum benutzbar. Ich haben in den 'Voreinstellungen - Hilfslinien/Raster' leider nichts dazu gefunden. Wäre toll wenn jemand eine Lösung wüsste! Danke!

So when I open a PSD from my PC to my LAPTOP (sometimes even on my PC for no good reason) this appears.I know the way to solve it and be able to edit the text is to update it Problem is, the texts look way different than they used to when I update it. Old Windows 7 PC with PE 15. Would like to move catalog to new Windows 11 PC with PE 24. Will PE 24 recognize the catalog, or will I need to transition through an earlier version of PE?

I installed Photoshop Elements 11 on a Windows 11 laptop. The size of the menubar is however very small. Very hard to reed the letters of the options.

Good morning, Is there a way to apply the "remove haze" image correction to multiple photos at the same time?I see 4 possible options in the "multiple file processing" menu, but not removing the haze, so I have to do it individually each time... I've looked for scripts but haven't found anything that works. Thanks

I recently downloaded atrial version of Photoshop Elements 2023 and immediately was told of a promotion ofr Elements 2024.  I then downloaded that and installed both.  When I open the program and got o organizer, my photos all show up, but with a few seconds the program closes.

How to get rid of black beams in PSE 2024 so I can use Advanced mode?After installing PSE 2024 I get three blacked out zones, meaning I can't see nor use the button for Advanced mode.I've already tried reinstalling twice, including restarting the computer,  still the blacked out areas (black beams) are there, so I can't use Layers etc. etc.. because I can't activate Advanced mode. Changing settings between dark and light mode makes no difference, the blacked out areas stay black. I don't have this problem with Premiere Elements 2024 which I bought in the same package. That shows the normal full screen with all the buttons.

Pour ecrire un texte sur un tracé courbe avec Photoshop ELEMENT qui ne propose pas la plume dans la palette d'outils, voici une façon de proceder : Tout passe par l’outils texte sur tracé personnalisé : 1 – avec l’outils, on trace une courbe 2 – AVANT de valider le tracé, on double clique dessus quand la plume est visible. La ligne revêt des points 3 – en tirant sur un point, on génère des poignées pour faire une jolie courbe. A ce moment là seulement, on valide le tracé. 4 – en cliquant sur la ligne l’outils plume se transforme en barre et on peut taper le texte. 5 – Ensuite, vous cliquez sur la coche verte et la ligne tracé disparait, ne laissant que le texte. Hello,My photos are so small after initially transfering them from my camera, (Elements 2020), that I can't easily see them except with reading glasses on.  They appear in a film strip display.  Is there a way to enlarge the photos for a more easy review before downloading them into my Organizer.  Thanks for any help.Dan

Updating from Elements 15 which accepted NEF [Nikon RAW] images without any problem  they don't seem to be recognised by Elements 24.   They download in to Windows Pictures from the SD card but then are not recognised by Organiser. Works fine for jpg files.  Info says Elements 24 will process RAW files  but that is dfficult if it won't accept them !  This could all just be my ineptitude but any advice on how to load these files would be appreciated.

I just went into my Photoshop Elements 10 version and it won't let me open any file.  When i go to the "FILE" tab at the top it will default and open the "HELP" tab and won't let me access any of the options in the FILE tab area.  Even when I try CTL + O to try to open a file it won't do anything.  Appreciate any help

I have used Nik Collection 5 as a plug-in with PSE 2023 for almost a year, with no issues, Specifically, I have used Viveza 3 and Color Efex Pro 5 almost daily.  A couple days ago, suddenly, Viveza was no longer an option in my Filter/Nik Collection drop down menu.  When I checked the Nik Palette (Selective Tool), Viveza 3 was listed, but when I clicked on it, I received a pop-up window message from Adobe Photoshop Elements "This functionality is not currently available."   I uninstalled Nik and then uninstalled PSE, then downloaded and reinstalled both, and the same problem persisted. All other Nik options work, but Viveza does not.  Interestingly, I also have DxO Photo Lab, with Nik Collection as a plug in and Viveza is not only present but works perfectly. This seems to indicate that the problem is not with the Nik Collection but possibly with PSE? A person -- APiperni -- posted a question on the Adobe PSE Discussion page on October&

I have Elements 2018 and currently trying the free trial of Elements 2024. Many of the 2024 filter options are listed but are in faded text and not available. I am wondering if they are available in Elements 2024 paid version and not the free trial. I am particulary interested in Stylize Glowing Edges and the Artistic and Brush Strokes families of filtersThanks,Pete

Having updated from Elements 15 I now find the images are shown without spacing or filename/date.  I often work with sets of very similar images and rely on file name to pick them out at a glance so need them displayed with the thumbnails.

For more than a year, I have used NIK Collection 5 plug-ins with PSE 2021.  I have been having issues with PSE freezing intermittently, and this recently occurred while I was editing an image using Viveza.  To unfreeze the screen I clicked on control+alt+ delete to access the task manager. I clicked on PSE to unfreeze. From that point on PSE does not recognize Viveza (although Viveza appears on the drop down list in PSE Editor). When I click on Viveza, I get the error message: This functionality is currently not available.  I can use Viveza as a standalone, but I prefer the PSE workflow. I uninstalled and reinstalled NIK Collection 5.   I tried resinstalling Viveza using Preferences. Should I uninstall NIK Collection 5 from PSE?  Then reinstall? And if so, how do I do that?Thanks 

Bonjour , j'ai malheureusement muté de OS Mojave à PS Catalina et donc mon vieux elements 12 fonctionne très mal . Catalina n'accepte que les versions 20 ou 21 d'elements . Si quelqu'un sait comment se procurer un de ces deux logiciels ......... Merci à tous .
