Photoshop Elements

Hi. I have bought Photoshop Elements 13 on a disc and have been using it for several years. I have it activated on two computers. A couple of weeks ago a window showed up every time I opened the program. The window said that program has been activated for more than two computers and that I need to deactivate another computer in order to run the program on this computer. I have not activated the program on another computer. I could still use the program but now I can't use the program anymore because of this. How do I deactivate the program on other computers if I don't know which computer it is? I have the disc and the serial number. Previous post on the forum says that you should be able to fix things similar to this if you go to the help menu but I can't find any way to go to the help menu. The windows pops up when I start the program and I can't access the program to change the settings of the program.

I have a mix of 12,000 photos and Videos residing on OneDrive.  (1TB storage with Office365).When I use the trial version of Organizer (that comes with Elements 2022) - it fails after about 50% of the way through a bulk import.  (I have purchased Elements but not applied key yet as I wanted to be sure all was working ok).Thumbnails appear for those items processed but when I try again (and again...) to run the bulk import - it just keeps either hanging or Organizer screen stops altogether and it goes back to the initial splash screen that Elements displays (where organizer can be started from initially).I tried turning off AntiVirus and stopping facial recognition scanning - but still hangs/fails.System is a Windows 11 laptop with i9, 32GB RAM and 2TB SSD.Windows fully up to date.Any help greatly appreciated.ThanksTony

I just installed PSE 2022. All the Layers options are grayed out. Image is 8 bits.

Hello all,I'm using PSE 2022. Is there a possibility to search for freely selectable IPTC keywords? The PSE menu <Search>  <Details (metadata)> offers a search criteria "Keyword-Tags", which only provides a list of all the Tags I've defined before.Best regards, Jürgen  

I have a licenced copy of Elements 14 (I verified this on my Adobe account).  Now when I start it up, I get a screen telling me that my "Free Trial" has expired.  There is no free trial!  I bought and paid for this product. How do I get around this? Thanks

I have a large number of files to convert from jpg to Tiff format.So I first tested using Photoshop Elements (2021) and Adobe Bridge. I upgraded from PSE9 to PSE 2022.  I'd like to convert my PSE9 catalog, but the catalog manager can't find the catalog file.  I'm sure the catalog.pse9db is on my system (see attached screen shot).  What am I doing wrong? Thanks,Jon.

Nach dem Wechsel der Hardware nach einem defekt lässt sich Photoshopelements nicht wieder aktivieren. Zuerst wurde der Fehler ausgegeben das die Maximale anzahl der Installationen überschritten ist, eine Deaktivierung ist direkt nicht möglich da die Hardware defekt ist, eine Option Photoshop Elements  über die Adobe ID zu deaktivieren gibt es nicht.Nach mehrmahligen probieren wird inzwischen ein Problem mit der Seriennummer gemeldet. Das Produkt ist unter meiner AdobeID- registriert. VGRainer Holland

This must be simple but I just can't figure it out.   I'm making an instruction sheet illustration and have steps (step 1, step 2, etc.) for the user to follow. At the end of each step I need to insert an arrow pointing to a line. How do I insert, or type, an arrow into the line of text? For example, "Step 1, fold paper on this line" with an "up" arrow at the end of that sentence pointing to the line.  Thnaks in advance. 

Hello,I used the Organizer (v18) as part of Photoshop Elements 2020. I am a heavy user of face recognition and like it, when the program asks me "is this...?" and you only have to hit yes or no.The "no" button very often did not work at all. I restarted the program, reinstalled it, restarted the computer etc. But the "no" button (as highlighted in yellow in the attached image - German version) was still not working. So I updated to the newest Elements Version of 2022, which gives me the Organizer (v20) in a new style with some new functions.But still, the issue remains: as seen in the image, I cannot click no. Either I click yes and then change it manually, or I leave it.Oh by the way: When I manually add the name on a face instead, it will show me the question anyhow "is this...?" when I hover my mouse over the face. Here is the system information of both programs (in German language). This is probably a simple question.  When I edit a photo in Guided mode, say, Brightness and Contrast, and then want to use Sharpen in Guided mode, how do I find it?  If I select "Next," it suggests I either Save or continue editing in Basic or Expert modes, but not how to find other kinds of effects in Guided mode.   Any help?

When I select a person PSE2020 suggests a name. If that is not correct, I am unable to reject that name. The "x" for rejecting the name does not work.  This happens quite often, but not all the time.  Sometimes it works as it should, ie I reject the suggestion and enter the real name.  

Another Mac M1 post about functionality. Mac Mini 16GB/2TB with Big Sur 11.6.5. I have looked for solutions in multiple forums without a positive outcome and am very familar with the pains of using PSE on Macs over the years. Currently using PSE 2020. I have issues with Beachball when using trackpad and scrolling through pictures, but that I can deal with even though it is frustrating. My current catalog has over 16k files. I was able to Backup Catalog 2 months ago to the same drive, after a couple attempts, but I am unable to to so now. I even tried a different drive. In BU Cat it goes through the usual steps for full BU and even lets me designate drive and folder. When I choose to BU "Please wait...prepares for backup..." Beachball spins irratically and Organizer program shows "not responding". I am cautious about upgrading to Catalina with Elem 2020 because it may make matters even worse. Hi. I'm using photoshop elements 14 for windows 10 (I own a license) and I'm thinking to upgrading it to version 22. Can I do it with a license upgrade or I must buy a full license again ? I'm asking that because a lot of years have passed since the 14 version.

Elements 18 (2020) starts to open but doesn't complete the opening.  Using iMac Catalina 10.15.7. Had a a similar issue with Mac OS and new M1 chip but that was corrected by changing the sniffer file. Hi, I can't open my raw into photoshop without lines. NOT in raw as I've sorted that by unchecking graphics. I can open photos IN raw without lines but when I try to open the raw file into photoshop eg to save as jpeg I get the lines in photoshop when opening the raw file for photoshop editing.  Thanks in advance

OK, my Photoshop Elements 2022 running Windows 10 Home on a Mac with BOOTCAMP generally works fine, but there are some functional cosmetic issues with some of the menus, such as the Options in the tools aren't fully developed and are crowded out at the bottom (see red box) so that the forms, menus, and selections aren't fully visible for selection which makes the User Interface harder to access. I've also experienced some CPU or memory processing latency when I don't save the file and keep on creating and working...the mouse cursor gets sluggish and doesn't respond to commands well until I save the file...and I have lots of megabytes and gigabytes of computer memory. I am running Photoshop Elements 2022 Version 20.0 x64 and bought from Amazon.com when it first came out in October 2021.  After calling Adobe Tech Support in March 31, 2022, Adobe got this to work even if it doesn't quite look like the PSE 2022 with the Quick Mode and Expert Mode tabs. Thus, I would app

I just updated my mac book pro to High Sierra. Huge mistake, because now I can not work with Adobe Photoshop Elements 15. I never had a problem with iPhoto and really liked it. From the Apple Staff I was told that iPhoto will soon no longer be used. I still have the iPhoto icon in my Application Folder. Can anybody help me, how I can use Photo with Adobe ....?Many thanks, Heidi

Hello.  Sorry for repeating this question but I am a new user and somehow cannot find my previous posts.I am trying to install PSE 2019 on a new PC (Windows 10 Pro 64).  I signed out of PSE from my old PC; downloaded MS Edge as a browser (as prompted), and made sure all other pgms. (only a few) are up to date.  After downloading and running the installer from my Adobe account (it confirms PSE 2019 as one of my registered pgms), the installation stiops and says I must update my browser and/or PC.  I've tried repeaterdly...same issue.  Can someone pls. help me understamd what I am doing wrong?  Thank you!
