Photoshop Elements

Lightroom (Cloudy) does not support Elements as an external editor. Since I retired I don't use Photoshop enough to justify the extra £10/month, and what I use it for is easily done in Elements.I would think the user population of Lightroom (Cloudy) would have a significant proportion of people like me, who would find Elements sufficient. Please make Elements available as an external editor from Lightroom (Cloudy). Thank you

Hi, maybe someone can make some suggestions on how to enhance old reddish photos if at all possible? These photos are about 40 years old and they were in a photo album for all these years? I have scanned them all in high res but now i want to enhance them to be more like todays bright photos? Any suggestions? Thanks Deon

Hello.  I recently started having issues with my legitimately purchased copy of PS Elements 2020 from the Adobe Store via Amazon.  Through my research, it was suggested that I update my computer and then uninstall the software.  This should have deactivated the program.  Upon trying to reinstall, I keep getting an error message that my serial # is invalid.  This should not be the case.  To my knowledge, it is only loaded on my one laptop and I have not shared it with anyone else.  It is appropriately registered and so on. This was a gift that cost close to $100.  I dont use it often, just to edit personal photos and artwork.  The Representative on  Adobe Chat suggested I post here for help soving the issue.  I'd really like to get this up and running asap to finish a bday gift.  Any thoughts or suggestions would be incredibly helpful.  Thanks in advance!

I am currently using Photoshop Elements 14 on a Windows 10 system but am not against upgrading if that would help. I have thousands of photo files stored across multiple discs. Some external and some are system discs. This disorginization has come from multiple system crashes over the years and emergency measures to copy files before loosing them. I would like to "import" all of these pictures into a new catalog AND copy them on import to a new external disc. Is this possible with Elements? or do I need to find some third party utility to accomplish this task?  -Andy

Access to Editor blocked by 'Edit In Progress' notice on recent file. How to clear it??

I'm not trying to do anything fancy. Let's say I have an image of a meadow and I open a new layer with a bear. So I want to move the bear around. I choose the Move tool, make sure I have the bear layer active and position the cursor over the bear, left click and drag the bear around, right? Sometimes that seems to work; sometimes not. Sometimes I have to hit ctrl-a while I'm in the bear layer and then the move will work the first time, but then when I try it again, the entire canvas moves (instead of just the bear). I am a total noob so I'm sure I must be doing something wrong. And I kept the above description simple for the sake of trying to keep things simple but in reality I often have several layers open.I've read the "move and copy selections" from Adobe several times but still can't quite get the hang of it.

I have licence for Photoshop Elements 15, how do I download it again after reinstalling Windows 10?I have been all over the Adobe website and cannot find how to do this, I just get multiple invitations to download PSE 2021, which I do not want.Why, oh why, is this so difficult?

I have a Mac Mini M1, and while I love to use Photoshop Elements for organization, it obviously doesn't work well -- it is so slow as to be unuseable. My question is, is there a "beta" program that I can try out to test M1 versions, or, barring that, what is the timeline to remediate this?  Will Photoshop 2022 be M1-friendly?  If so, when does that come out? I've used Photoshop Elements for many, many years... sad that it's become unuseable to me.

Dear all, I would like to know if there's a way to suppress the Adobe Photoshop Elements 2019 updates on client systems. Our users usually don't have admin permissions and therefore can't run the update by themselves, but I'm unfortunately not able to suppress this update popop.. Any help appreciated...

When I transfer edited photos with captions from Elements 2018 to Windows 10 library, the photos are successfully transferred but the captions are lost in the process. Any ideas as to the cause would be most welcome, thanks. Tim.

Hi, All. Apologies for this basic question, but I can't seem to find a clear answer. I am trying to create a simple 30x42 photo board for an upcoming event. I have about 15 photos, each at different sizes but all saved at 300 ppi resolution for printing. In Photoshop, how do I "place" images so that they appear at the same resolution as the orginal image is saved at? For whatever reason, they are all being placed much larger than the originals. For clarity, the 30x42 master file is also set at 300 ppi. I recall that in Photoshop I used to be able to hold down certain keys in order to force the image to be placed at same size and resolution as original image file. But it's been a long time since I used Photoshop and I can't recall the proper keys. I'd appreciate any help the community has to offer. Thanks, Kurt

Is there still no solution for exporting loaded styles in PSE?If my student has 20 styles loaded in PSE 2020,then purchases PSE 2021,how can they easily migrate their styles to the new version?

Hello there,. We are many years PS Elements users, and our work means we use it every day. For some reason our version of PS Elements 2020 has corrupted. When we make any change to a project (add text hide or delete a layer) the change is not visible until we click on the gray area of the screen off the project. Then the change becomes visible. It happened on one of our working PCs on a specific project, and now PS always acts like this in any project. Just to test, we copied the original project to another PC, and now it is corrupted too ;-[ I tried a reinstall without uninstalling, but it is still corrupted. I cannot find anything like this in your community, nor online anywhere. So.... has anyone else experienced this, and how to we fix it? Many thanks in advanceJohn and Michelle Coleman

I am using Elements 15 and used it several times to make things years ago. However, I am trying to make a graphic and had to change something on the graphic, so I cut it out and remade it and tried to paste it into the same area where it was removed. But when I pasted it into the graphic, the paste was settled. There was no option to move it. When I pasted it the pasted part was in the middle of the graphic. I needed it to be in the place where I removed it in the first place which was closer to the bottom. I used to be able to use the arrow buttons to move the paste around but that didn't work this time. There was no way to move the paste. Thanks for any help on this. 

I'm using Photoshop Elements 2021 and ACR 13.0How do I update ACR to 13.4 ?I've downloaded the 13.4 update and have run the exe file which seems to install ok.However when I use Open In Camera Raw I still see version 13.0

I have a registered CD I bought from Costco. It and my account have the same registered serial number which is valid.I also have a new computer that does not have a CD drive (OS win 10 and CD was win version).I have now twice downloaded PS Elem 10 (link provided by chat and appears next to my account's registered prodect). Twice it has refused my serial number for being "invalid". I own this product and adobe "support" will not help me to access it. Spent over 1.5 hours on chat with 3 different people; Last one said to post here - more than aggravating. 

I was gifted adobe photoshop elements and premiere elements 14 in 2015.  I have the original receipt through amazon but no "redemption code".  I literally threw away the box last week not realizing the serial number was on the box.  I am trying to install the program on my new computer and need it.  I have chatted with adobe via online and the phone with no help at all.  They even had me send them the receipt and I still haven't heard a single thing.  I have the program on my old computer, is there a way to find the serial number in the program???  I am so frustrated with adobe customer help right now.

I am re-downloading Elements 12 on my Macbook. I installed it in 2015 and un-installed it around 2018 (before the cloud service change). It ran fine during this time.  I have a hard-disc and the serial number is valid/registered on my account however I am facing problems with offline activation. When I go to redownload it, I get the notification to sign in. I sign in and get a window that says serial number verificationn. All it says is "please connect to the internet to validate serial number". No other links. My computer is connected to my wifi which is working though. The validate button doesnt do anything. The connect later button closes the window and nothing happens. I would like to use my valid and paid for software.
