Photoshop Elements

I had split the catalog into personal and work.  Was working fine but i went to do a backup and there was a problem with the files.  I reloaded the personal part and had to re do the file folder hieracrhy.  Now to do the job folder.  Should i just copy and paste and put it back into the personal catalog (so forgetting the job catalog) thereby going back to one catalog.  I read that that may be a problem but I think it may be better in the long run to stick with one catalog.  Any thoughts on this?   1st thought is to move from Premiere Elements to Photoshop Elements... For some reason when I opend Adobe Photoshop Elements today (It's version 6 in case you need to know.) all of a sudden the image turned red. There's an attached screencap of the progrom in case that helps.

I want to completely remove Creative Cloud for desktop, from my Mac, using the Creative Cloud Uninstaller.app. But every time I try, a banner comes up that says, "Couldn't uninstall Creative Cloud for desktop. You still have Creative Cloud applications installed on your computer that require it". Well, I certainly didn't voluntarily install any Creative Cloud applications, that I know of. How do I find out what, and where, they are, so that I could completely remove them, and completely remove Creative Cloud for desktop, from my Mac?  19.0 (20210811.m.158081

I recently upgraded from Photoshop Elements version 2020 to version 2021.     I have about 60,000 photo's in Photoshop organizer on a Synology NAS Drive.     When I run the 2020 version, it recognizes these 60,000 photos as online.    When I run the same catalog on 2021, it says the NAS drive is off line.     However I can import the same photo's on Synology NAS in Photoshop 2021 as new files.    This unfortunately will cause me to lose any organization I previously had.      I am planning to return the 2021 version if this is not something that is going to be fixed.

My photoshop elements 11 does not open my RAW images.How can i solve this

I've been waiting for a solution for months. I first had the 2008 version that lasted for a few years until the same thing happened that is happening to me now. When I open the photoshop elements organizer the screen minimizes and disappears. I can't work on it, or see, or add any photos.I'm afraid my money has been wasted. I received a support email where they gave me some files to replace within my installation but it did not work.Are you planning to release a 2020 update that will fix the problem? Many hours of work organizing photos for nothing ...I have installed the latest version of W10, 32GB RAM and the equipment works with an M2 SSD (in case this helps).Please, I need help. pd, Premier works well.

I try to filter my huge data base by autor name. Since the field was empty, I updated the IPTC data "signature" inside PSE 2020. The right data are now stored in the files, I can see them as metadata within PSE or Windows. But they are not are recognized by the search tool.I tried anotherway and filled the IPTC data with Windows BEFORE importing the file in PSE 2020. It works fine, the autor name is recognized by the search tool. But that works only for new files.Is there a way to update the autor name properly AFTER importing the file in PSE 2020? Who can help me?

Purchased Photoshop Elements 2019 for an HP laptop.  Now I have a new LG notebook.  How am I able to move that software from one to the other?  Somehow I also have PhotoShop Premier Elements 2019.  Might someone please advise asap.

I have Adobe Photoshop Elements 2020. When I do a Catalog Backup, at the bottom of the file there is a backup.tly file and a catalog.buc file. When I open the .buc file it opens the catalog of a previous version of Adobe Photoshop Elements that I had on my computer - version 15. But the file only contains the photos I had 2 years ago when I converted to Adobe 2020. Why, when I backup with PSE2020 do I get a file that only opens in PSE15 and that file only contains the items in the catalog at the time (2 years ago) I converted to PSE2020?  If I had to use this Backup Catalog to do a Restore, would I get everything I currently have in my PSE2020 catalog?

I recently have been getting pictures that look pixelated/corrupt, I also am getting multiples of the same picture. This seem to have started after my last backup of photos.I am also getting a missing file error, when I try to reconnect with original picture it will not.all problems in organizer.

When I attempt to save an edited photo using either Save or Save As, I get:Which makes no sense to me, as I'm not attempting to load a file, but save one. Any ideas please?

After many months of very satisfactory usage of elements 2020 a few days ago I began to experience the problems mentioned above.  I have uninstalled the latest win 10 update but this has not helped.  Please can someone advise.  Thank you. 

I have Photoshop Elements 13  downloaded on my Mac  Have used it just fine untils today. All of a sudden it won't launch.  I click on the icon and it bounces a coupleof times and then just stops.   Tried starting it from Applications too.  Nothinkg.  I have a Mac - Catalina 10.15.7    Catalina doesn't like old apps but I went to Catalina months ago and Photoshop has been working ok until today. 

Recently I found that my beloved Photoshop Elements 13 (purchased in 2015) no longer opens after upgrade to Catalina.  I have now moved on to purchase Clip Studio Paint which serves my needs more accurately (graphic artist). However, I no longer have access to the many patterns and brushes that I created in Elements 11 & 13. I am disappointed in Adobe and even more disappointed that my own creations no longer exist. After subscribing to Photoshop, I didn't uninstall PSE 9.0.  I'd like to uninstall it to gain space, but unsure if it is needed for Photoshop.  If I do uninstall it, do I need to deactivate (which used to be recommended), or simply download it from my Adobe Account if I want it later.

Photoshop Elements 14 and Windows 10.The program closed twice just as I was pasting something from one photo in Photoshop into another photo. First all 4 photos in the program just went blank, and after a short while the hole program closed down. I have never experienced something like that before, the program have always been very stable.Anybody knows what went on?

I am trying to create a graphic for a t-shirt. I can add a photo(in this case, a hamburger), but when I try to add text, I get a black box and the photo turns blue. What is going on? How do I add text above and below the photo without getting the stupid black box, and keep the original colors of the photo?

Hello, Some photos appear upside down in Organizer 2018.If you look at the photo directly in wondows explorer or if you open it in Elements editor it looks correct.This happens only in some photos in what seems to be a random pattern. I would say in about 5-10% of the imported pics. I have used the organizer since version 1 and have never experienced this wierd behavior before. Help will be much appreciated 

I upgraded from PSE 10 to PSE 2021. Now I have problems with saving the captions. I cannot see them by looking the details in the attributes oft the JPG in Windows 10 Explorer. After loading JPGs from my Olympus Camera E-M5 II into PSE the IPTC details shown in PSE are empty:   In Windows 10 Explorer I find in their details in attributes the IPTC the name: OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA.  After entering a caption in PSE and saving Metadata (CTLR+W) the description in PSE is filled: But in Windows 10 Explorer I read still OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA:  Doing the same under PSE 10 the caption is visuable in the details oft the attributes in Windows 10 Explorer:             How can I solve this problem in PSE 2021 ?

I am running Windows 10. I got a pop up in Photoshop Elements 13 that there is a 13.1 update available. So I download and apply the update and reboot.Afterwards I start Photoshop Elements app. Then a pop up on the screen starts that says the app as experienced a problem and will close.I then have to reinstall 13.0 to get it working again.

I use Photoshop elements 2018 and until last week everything has been fine.  But for no apparent reason when I now download photos from the SD card the photos no longer appear in the organiser. They do appear in windows explorer. I gathering that it's something quite simple but it's not obvious to me.

Beide Rechner haben die aktuelle WIN10 Version (automatische Updates eingestellt). Auf dem Laptop mit einer vor länger Zeit installierten Photoshop 2019 Version läuft alles problemlos. Auf dem anderen Rechner werden die gleichen RWL Dateien mit einer heute installierten Photoshop 2019 Version mit dem Hinweis, dass das Format von einer unbekannten Kamera sei nicht erkannt. Greift der Laptop direkt übers Netz auf den Tower zu kann er die RWL Dateien problemlos lösen. Wie kann ich das Problem lösen. Der Verweis auf Camera RAW war nicht hilfreich.Viele Grüße Hans-Peter
