Photoshop Elements

How can I get a straightforward slideshow in Organizer, without unwanted effects (b&w versions, pictures sliding over each other).   I just want an easy way to look at and judge my latest batch of photos.   Anyone help please?

When I select photos and select 'slideshow' it moves pictures around, creates b&w versions etc.   I just want a straightforward slideshow of my pictures.   Can I change the way it's done now?    Old version of Elements didn't do it. 

I am trying to back up my Photoshop Organizer on external hard drive, and 128,000 pictures to transfer to a new PC.  I depend on this as a photographer, it is 17 years work!  It has always worked in the pastWhen I backup it does 97% and then I get this message - ''C:\Users\ukphotos\Pictures\iCloud Photos\Photos\IMG_4151_edited1.jpg''  ( have changed it a little).  Know nothing about iCloud - and I cannot find 4151 in Organizer or my files.   Can somebody please help.  Can Adobe phone me or contact me?  Am willing to pay for help.

refine effect quit working in B&W color pop, low key, etc. even if i move opacity all the way to 0. will not add. will not subtract. i'm using elements 2019. this is the first time this issue has arose. i've tried multiple photos using RAW and JPEG. 

Everything was fine two days ago.  Now,  I cannot print without a background on my image.  The background is transparent in the workspace, but as soon as I choose print the background is back.  I have tried several ideas found in the forum, however these have not worked.  The only change made to my computer was to download an AP that would allow me to download HEIC pictures into elements.  I have uninstalled that, but no change was made.  Another issue that may be related, is that when I try to open a recently edited file, a message pops ups that says the file can not be found.  Ideas please

I am using Elements 2020 and after using the drop shadow in Styles, and going back to Layers, I find that the text effect box under Text now only brings up the shadows, instead the textures you can add to your text.This is happening under the Text tool, where there is a box towards the right-hand side of the screen, which should have the textures in it. How do I get those textures back? Thanks.

I posted this earlier tonight, but I posted a reply that added to my questions, and I'm afraid no one will answer my questions now since it looks like someone replied. So I combined my original question and the post that I added here:I am using Sandisk Extreme Compact Flash Cards. For the past week, when I try to upload photos into the Elements Organizer, the upload freezes. Sometimes it freezes at about photo number 160, sometimes earlier. This has happened with multiple flash cards. I have called Dell tech support twice requesting help for this problem. After I talked to them last week, I was able to upload my photos. But tonight, I tried uploading photos and it slowed down drastically. It slowed down at about 160 photos again, and then slowly uploaded photos up to number 301, at which time it froze for good (there were 755 photos on the card). I called Dell tech support again, and they found that a Windows update had stalled. The tech allowed the update to install, and then restarte

I am trying -- and mostly failing -- to utilize Elements Organizer, and in playing with the preferences I ended up on the Email page and tried to configure an email client. First, it refuses to accept GSuite/Workspace accounts as Gmail accounts, which is annoying in and of itself, but then that failed configuration is stuck as a email profile and there's no way to delete it. Or is there? Please let me know! Then I tried a regular gmail account, and Google blocked it as an unknown and "less secure app." That's concerning. Why is Adobe using "less secure" technology that Google wants to block? Unless this is a secret fight between the two companies that we're suffering, this makes me concerned about how secure the entire Elements package is.

Hi everybody,   I had to upgrade my Macbook to OS Catalina. Ever since I cannot use Elements 9 anymore as it the wrong bitversion. What are my options now? (I used the testversion of Elements 2021 but don't wanna buy another license...)   Thanks in advance and best regards!

I can't locate my serial numbers for PE 18 or PE 20.  I have serial numbers for PE 13 which I upgraded to PE 18 online and then PE 20 in May of 2020.  Importantly, I would like to install PE 20 on my new laptop, but I can't locate the S/N.  I thought Creative Cloud was supposed to indicate these purchases, but it doesn't.  Right now, I am using a trial version of PE 20 on new laptop, but I'm not too keen on having to buy it again.  Thanks, Jack

I  just opened my elements and have new BOO files that are doubles of my scanned pictures that I did YEARS ago and never had an issue such as this.  The picture is there on the organizer but when you click on them most of the BOO files are corrupted (grey square shows up when you click on the BOO picture).  I am not sure what I did to cause this.  My pictures have been on my computer with regular backups on external hard drive and cloud. Is there an easy way to get rid of these?  I likely have over 300 of these BOO pictures ugh!

Can Photoshop brushes be used in PSE 2021. Is there a reason why they may not be compatible for PSE? I see an offer from DesignCuts.com offering 80 Photoshop Grunge Brushes. I am afraid to buy if they will not work in PSE. Thank you for for your input. Cynthia

Hi, the photoshop elements 14 has stopped working properly on my macbook pro after updateing to BIG SUR 11.3.1I got a message saying to Reinstall Photoshop elements 14  BUT when i have tried the disk says it needs updating and to contact provider, when i have contacted them they said i need to come here to find a solution. All i want to do is repair all these old family photos and some family friends old photos. It is upsetting me as i am working on a photo that i wanted to finish either this week or next for my mother.Thank you Paul

So, elements 12 & camera raw wont open the files! Ive decided to install DNG but it will only work apparently if my camera raw is a minimum of 8.7 but mine is camera raw 8.5! Can anyone advise me exactly what and how to update my elements and camera raw versions to resolve the problem? I would prefer to continue using elements 12 and camera raw ro open the CR2 files from the 7D mark 2! I did , try to install a zipped file from a later plug in, i think it was 10 or 10.5 which i unzipped , but its not worked! Do i have to install the new verion of elements to go with it?

Hallo liebe Community, da ich eine NAS betreibe brauche ich weder bei einem PC-Wechsel noch bei der Datensicherung den Katalog inkl. der Bilder zu sichern. Ich möchte also lediglich die Datenbank ohne die Bilder in mein Backup packen, da ich sowieso nicht vorhabe, die Bilder über Adobe wiederherzustellen. Fragen:Wenn ich unter Windows 10, C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Elements Organizer\Catalogs meinen Katalog in die Datensicherung kopiere und sich an den Speicherorten der Bilder nichts ändert: Kann ich dann diesen Ordner wiederherstellen und mein Katalog funktionert wieder?Angenommen ich würde den Hauptspeicherort der Bilder ändern, z.B. F:\Fotoalbum => G:\Fotoalbum privat (aber die komplette Struktur darunter bleibt gleich), könnte ich dies dann irgendwo anpassen? Vielen Dank für Eure Hilfe schon im Voraus!

Hi! I purchased in 2017 a laptop from Dell with licence (product key) for Adobe Photoshop Elements 15 y Adobe Premier Elements 2015. Now I had to change the hard disc of my laptop, and trying to reinstall intead of asking me for the product key, it is compulsory to "log in" in de Adobe account linked to the product key. The thing is that I never created an adobe account with those product keys, or if I did, I cant remember because I have never had issues until now. Does anyone know how can I Re-install the products with the product keys?, or how can I find out the account user linked to them? Thanks!

Hi, I previously bought Photoshop Elements 19 and need to download it onto my replacement computer but cannot find it to download in my adobe account - there is no "orders page" Kind regardsMichael 

I am not sure how this has happened, but my catalog has a number of photos with icons in the top right corner which I took to mean stacks. But in using the Find/stacks command, I found I actually have none. They are version sets. Whatever that is. When I use Ctrl D to change the grid, I see a small arrow on the right hand side of the picture, about midway down. Clicking on the very first one on the list, it appears to be the same photo, with a different orientation. Some questions:1) is there some reason why I would need both orientations?2) are version sets limited to two versions for each photo? If not, how do I tell which photos are "versions" of the main one? (In my grid, Version set A seems to be parked right next to Version set B, so I am not sure where one stops and the other begins)3) if the photos are always identical (are they?), is there some single command that will remove the unnecessary versions? Will this affect the thumbnail links to the "main" or principal version

How do I get the PSE Editor (2021 version) to stop asking me if I want to save file to a version set?

Following the previous advice, my PSE 2021 in Windows 10 showed me 45 UNTAGGED ITEMS in my Folder 1. So, I went through each and every one of these 45 photos and tagged them with either People, Event, or Places. Then I used the following sequecnce of tasks:1. Show All Media2. Menu/ Find/ Untagged Items - showed me 3090 Untagged Items3. Selected my Folder 1 - now showed me 45 Untagged Items4. Reviwed eac of the 45 and tagged them with People, Place or Event or some combination tags.5. Show All Media again - still showed 3090 Untagged Items6. Selected my Folder 1 - still showed 45 Untagged Items!I am a bit puzzled. Why would it show me the same 45, that I had tagged, one at a time, as still being in Untagged stage?I sure can use your help and advice. Thank you so much.

I recently bought a Panasonic S5. WHen I previously bought a Panasonic G9 I had to update cAdobe Camera Raw to the newest version. It was so frustrating that I just updated to Elements 19. Now I'm faced with the same problem with the S5. I need Adobe Camera raw 13.1. I downloaded it and ran the execute program but Elements still won't open the S5 Raw files. The update says it's complete. What the hell is it updating. 

I recently update my Mac to MacOS Big Sur Version 11.2.1. I had Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 running just fine until I updated recently. The error message I am getting says the developer of this app needs to update it to work with this version of macOS. 

I have Photoshop elements organizer version 17.0.0.0 Windows 10, after I create an album on organizer; I cannot find it after searching for it. On organizer's folders I'm unable to make a folder.
