Photoshop Elements

Hi, I'm using the testversion von Adobe Elements 2021, before buying it.Acutal i tested the face detection, which is really good. But at the page of all persons the names of the persons is not shown completly.If there name is to long (e.g. with wide letters) the name is shorten with "...".How can i change this? I want to see more letters before the programm will shorten it with "..." I added an example

I have just installed a new laptop, with all the fun that entails (!) with 2tb storage, due to my huge Organizer catalogue.I wonder if it is possible to install, by disc or by downlaod, Organizer and Editor onto a tablet?  I am not talking about a large catalogue, but perhaps for artwork (tablets have other artistic programmes), and also when travelling, would save carrying a laptop.So my questions for a tablet:Could you install Elements by disc or download?Install pictures from a camera to a tablet?Use Organizer?Use Editor?Then transfer to PC? Thank you. 

Automation tools is greyed out.  It used to work, and suddenly it's greyed out.I uninstalled Elements, rebooted and reinstalled, then reinstalled the plugins but they're still not available.Physically, I see the plugins in the plugin folder, and I've added the sub-folder with the plugins as an additional plugin folder in preferences.I just don't get it.  Thanks for any help you can give me.Kevin

Suddenly getting a message that I can no longer save my backup because of a lack of disk space. So, taking that to assume there is insufficient space on the disk I am writing to, I deleted a whack of large files. Still not enough space. Forums here say there is something like a scratch disk, whatever that is, but while it is listed under Preferences in the help files, I am guessing it has moved for the current edition. Would a lot more helpful if PSE were to speak plain language and say WHICH disk it is referring to. But, on a guess that it is referring to this mysterious scratch disk, where is that please? Thanks

Can anyone point me in the right direction please as all the links I follow take me around in cirles.I've upgrade my old mac to High Sierra Ver 10.13.6.  Will my PSE Ver 13 work on this?  There used to be a system requirements compatibility type chart, but for the life of me I cannot find it.  If a link to it is available, it would be appreciated. Thank  you in anticipation.

Hi. When i have created a slidshow in Adobe Elements 2021 Organiser I have imported adiofiles. I added 4 different files and when I preview the first time the first audiofile kept repeating itself. I´ve tried to save and move the audiofiles in different order but the next time I previewed the first adiofile was correct and the next adoiofile did´nt play at all but after that one the third was played.(I´m knew at this program but have had Photoshop Elements 10 in many years and it´s frustrating that itdos´nt work at all in the same way).

It appears I have inserted, accidentally, an Audio Caption Icon on a group of my photos  in PSE 2021 running under Windows 10. This icon, looking like a small Speaker, is located on top right of these photos. I do not use audio captions. I must have done something accidentally for PSE 2021 or an earlier version to have put these icons on some of my photos. Is there a way to get rid of these icons from showing up on these photos? Or, is it best for me to just igonre them? They just appear to be clutters.Thank you for your help.

Everytime I backup My Catalog, it creates a second photo with the same name except it adds -1 to it.  Therefore everytime I back it up, the size of the catalog increases.   How can I stop this from happening? I only want to backup up the catalog cleanly without having every photo duplicated.  They are not duplicated in the Adobe/Elements directory. ThanksPat

Everything was fine before today's update. Now when I put the pen to the stylus to draw, everything freezes and then crashes.  I can't do anything, the entire program is now useless.  I am unable to roll back to a previous version because my computer doesn't seem to have saved a restore point. I regret downloading the update.

Ok so i can not move the image when printing anymore. It wont let me move the blue print border and i have no clue why. I cant remove it or anything and anything outside that border will not print! 

We managed to all our multi-backups with PS Elements and finally saved unique copies of all photos in one place: locally on our computer. A folder with 100,000 files (260 GB) was generated by PS Elements. Now, after  a while, we tried to make favour of the PS data collection. But if we try to open a thumbnail image, we get an error message from PS. PS tries to find an image with it' s original name in the data collection folder. But in this folder, images are alle renamed (by PS elements, we guess). Obviously, the data are present, but PS Elements has forgot how to access them.What can we do? Best regardsKai

I'm trying to replace a background using the guided edit. In selecting the image, I can't capture it finely enough to replace the sky color between the feathers (see photo). When I go back to editing mode, I've not been able to get clone stamp or any of the tools that will allow me to make the space between the feathers darker so it matches the new background. Thanks for any guidance.    .

Hello there, I want to use PSE 13 on my newly installed PC but get the error message that it is already installed on the maximum number of PCs. After googling around I figured, I have to go to the old PC and go into PSE13 *Editor* and there into HELP and *SIGN OUT*. I did all that. I also made sure, that I was signed into my Adobe account when doing so. I also made sure that I have Internet connection (how else would I sign in?).It did not help. After signing out I shut down that PC (it's actually two boot disks I have, the old one of the PC that died on my 3 weeks ago, and the newly installed Windows on another boot disk, and I can switch via BIOS which one to boot. I only want to do this until I have installed all my programs into the new installation and migrated all the settings and stuff). So after signing out and shutting down the PC  booted up the new installation, signed into adobe, startet PSE 13 and it still tells me I can't use that key because I am using it alread

Ich benutze Adobe Photoshop Elements 15 seit einigen Jahren zur Bearbeitung meiner Fotos. Bisher gab es keine Probleme, wenn ich bearbeitete Fotos auf einen USB-Stick kopierte und dann auf dem TV-Gerät angeschaut habe. Seit einigen Tagen gelingt es mir nicht mehr, die im Fotoeditor bearbeiteten (z.B. Einfügen von Schrift, Schärfen des Bildes oder Licht- bzw. Farbänderungen, Formatänderung) auf dem TV Gerät sichtbar zu machen. Ich habe bereits unterschiedliche USB-Sticks benutzt, auch auf zwei verschiedenen Fernsehgeräten (Marken Löwe und TechniSat) versucht, Bilder zu erhalten. Alles vergeblich, obwohl die Bilder auf dem Rechner exakt wiedergegeben werden. Ich möchte noch anmerken, dass die Fotos alle im Format JPEG bearbeitet und gesichert wurden. Ich wäre für Hilfe sehr dankbar.Dieter Kloss, Berlin  

I have been using photoshop elements for a few weeks with the photo editor and the video editor.  However after a few days both of them fail to launch.  Only the photo organizer was opening.  Is this some bug in the system or some changes in the setting?Thanks

[Moderator moved from Using the Community (forums) to PS Elements.]   PSE 2021 Freezes on start up.  Only way to get out is to use  The Task Manager to end it! How can I install the advertised update?

I tried the Adobe chat to get the answers to these questions but my questions were never answered - perhaps a language problem so I thought I would try here.I purchased Photoshop Elements 2020 on line from Adobe on January 21, 2020. I installed it in a Windows 10 PC desktop computer. That computer died and I can no longer access the hard drive in it, so I cannot deactivate Photoshop Elements 2020 on that computer. As I understand it Photoshop Elements 2020 can be installed only on two computers. As I mentioned the program already is installed on my Windows 10 desktop which died and I can no longer access its hard drive. I would like to install Photoshop Elements 2020 on a new Windows 10 PC which I soon will purchase and on a Windows 10 laptop which I currently own.How can I deactivate Photoshop Elements 2020 on the Windows 10 computer I can no longer access so I can install it on a new Windows 10 desktop PC when I purchase it and on a Windows 10 laptop which I currently own?I have Phot

Hello everybody! Photoshop Editor in Elements 2021 doesn't run. In fact, when I clic on the Photo Editor Icon in the Photoshop Elements windows, a little wheel appears rotating with this text following: "Loading working space of Photoshop Elements Editor...". I see Photo Editor launching, opening briefly the Editor and closing. Then a windows open asking me which version of Photoshop Elements 2021 I have. Then I clic on the trial version option, and only the little wheel continue running with this text following: "Loading working space of Photoshop Elements Editor...". After maybe 20 seconds, that disappear, letting Photoshop Elements windows open. I work on a laptop Fujitsu T734 with Windows 10 version 1909 64 bits and an Intel i7-4702MQ CPU de 2,2 GHz. I know that the minimal CPU required is Intel 6th Generation, but I tried it. Can it be the problem? Every other component of Elements seems working, like Organizer. I use already Photoshop CC 2014, Bridge version 6.0.0.

When I go to open Photoshop elements 2020 photo editor it freezes like 2 seconds after opening and doesn't unfreeze sometimes it even slows down my mouse movement on screen, the only way I found to exit it when frozes is to end it in task manager. I'm on Windows 10 Pro version 20H2 and running the latest version of Photoshop elements 2020, that I got through the Microsoft Store. I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling but the same problem was happening. The organizer runs just fine, it is just photo editor that freezes, I have also tried having nothing running in the back ground. My computer runs on a Ryzen 7 3700x, 64gb of ram, and a 2070 super, not sure if specs relate but im getting sick of this freezing.

I am a long time Photoshop Elements user, currently using the free trial of the 2021 version which I planned to buy at the end of the trial but now I'm not so sure. I've got a set of jpgs I've created, and those under 3MB seem to open without issue, while larger ones (7 to 10MB) give me a 'won't open due to program error' message. These are just photos taken on my phone, and it's not a top of the range phone either. The files all open in gimp without any issue. I never had this issue with my previous version of PSE (10, I think) but I can't use that here because I can't disconnect the licence from my previous computer. Is this specific to the trial version or is there something else going on?

Is there a way to stop Photo Downloader from starting at all?  I don't like it, and I don't use it.  Yet, every time I plug my Android phone into my computer, it tries to start, but gets hung up.  I have to go into Task Manager in Windows 10 to stop the task.  Then I can connect to my phone the way I like.  I'm running Photoshop Elements 12.  I love Photoshop, but absolutely hate Photo Downloader.
