Photoshop Elements

Ok, I'm getting desperate.I've purchased Elements and Premiere 2020 but Organiser does not open - it crashes on start-up each time.I have posted about this before (so apologies if you're seeing this twice) but I've not yet had a solution. I’m running on OSX 10.13.6 Sierra - which is compatible with these versions of software. So far I have tried:1 - Uninstall, restart and reinstall software.2 - Checked for updates to my graphics card.3 - Run a Disc Utilities diagnostics 4 - Turn off and on my Mac.5 - Started Organiser whilst holding down the Shift key without success.6 - Tried to update preferences but the instructions provided by Adobe do not match the options given on my computer.7 - Checked the Apple forums which appear to indicate that this could be an Adobe software problem.8 - Renamed the OLS folder to OLS_old.9 - Renamed Online Services to Online Services_old10 - Renamed the folder psa.prf to psa_old.prf I'm getting pretty desperate. Thanks to Michel (and others) I can now bulk title all my photos, using the file names. However, there is a problem: the text is too big, even when I choose fot size 6: Is there a way to reduce the text please? 

In my Elements 2020 / Premier Elements 2020 Box there was a Fuji print offer inside and the serial # sticker on the disc envelope was stuck to it!  When I separated the two, the coated glossy card stock of the Fuji ad pulled off some of the serial # sticker so I cannot read it. It is too late to return it for replacement. I can provide a photo. What can I do?  Thanks!  John

When I make a 25% crop of an image of 6000 x 4000 PS Elements makes the new image still 6000 x 4000 in stead of 3000 x 2000. Ps Elements is recalculating to the original pixels and I don't want PSE to do that! Recalculate pixels has been switched off! What can I do? Jan

HI, since I have updated Photoshop Elements to 2021 I can not see and therefore select my NAS under presets where the images should be stored during import. Have also updated windows 10 . Images on my NAS are viewable .Can someone help me ?regards Richard

All of a sudden my print options is not working: The "advanced setting" only go to paper type. And when I choose print it no longer allows the interim image and choice, and it does not print what I called. I have reloaded the program but that did not help. Paul

I am using Photoshop Elements 13, and it will not let me import any photos into it. I get this message: The requested operation could not be completed because the catalog is currently locked by another process Then I am given the option to cancel or retry. Retry gives me "The catalog was busy and the requested change could not be completed." Then press OK.

why cant i use my raw photos on adobe premier 

I have Photoshop Elements 14 on two devices. I have had to reinstall on one device but I am not allowed to log on as it is seen as an extra separate installation taking me over the two that are allowed. I understand that I can request a reset; is that possible? I would like to upgrade to Elements 2021 on the affected device but will my current situation prevent that?

I am trying to backup PSE 10 from PC to laptop. Have installed same version of PSE10 onto laptop.The two machine are linked virtually. The backup file received by the laptop are shown as xml files. The laptop, ie PSE 10 does not recognised the format. I have followed all backup prompt. Both machines use Microsoft 10

I have not purchased Photoshop Elements yet.  Trying to understand how to best organize photos.  Do I continue to have ALL my photos located in Photos and import selected photos into Elements for editing and then export the final photo back into Photos.  Or best to just manage ALL photos in Elements.  Understanding the location of photos and having them all in one place is important to me.  Thanks in advance for your help.

I'm looking to upgrade to Adobe Photoshop 2018 to 2021 and have read that multiple versions are allowed on the same machine.  Why would  you want to have different versions on the same machine, and what are the advantages/disadvantages of doing so?  Tech support was not helpful in answering this question.

This bug has been present since about PSE15. It has been discussed recently in two distinct scrapbooking forums. - it's very easy to drag a category over another one, changing it to a subcategory in the keywords panel. - The solution was before to use the 'edit' menu choice for the subcategory and to choose the parent category as 'None - change to a category'. Unfortunately that no longer works.   I have no idea why the bug has never been corrected since that time; there may be some technical issue but in that case, the suggested solution should not been kept.   The workaround I have given is: " My workkaround tested with my Food category:- I created a new category with a similar name (Foods instead of food)- I selected all the keywords in the Food subcategory by highlighting the names, not the checkboxes; then dragged them into Foods- Same for the subcategories of food. You can shift click to select all then drag.After checking that Food was empty, I deleted it. I highly rec

Brand new user to Elements 2020, created my 1st collage image and went to print out and it will not allow me to print an 8x10 photo with anything more than 300 dpi, which is way too blurry an image. I have the print parameters set to 1200 dpi but get an error message stating " due to photo size it will print no larger than 300 dpi". I'm sure I'm missing something somewhere, any suggestions??

I'm so frustrated! I'm trying to save a file with many layers and it won't let me save in TIFF format because it's over 4GB. I tried saving multiple ways (LZW/ZIP and ZIP/ZIP) without luck. I also obviously can't save in PSD because that has a limit of 2GB. I currently have Elements 21 running on Windows 10. I used to work with Elements 11 and NEVER EVER had this issue. I was forced to upgrade because I could not install Elements 11 on my new computer. I assumed I was upgrading, but I'm not understanding why 21 has this limit and 11 doesn't. It's imperitive I save this as a LAYERED file. What can I do?

THIS IS FOR WINDOWS USERSThis is for people who don't want to see any old auto creations for any reason on that pretty start screen.C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Elements Organizer\18.0\CAHeadless\Creations\That's the location for auto creations for PSE 2020.  PSE 2021 would be 19, isntead of 18.0.The names are radomly generated:  '7a8433fe-1476-4bd4-b1d6-03655626af55" for example. Just go in the creations folder and delete them

When I start PSE 2020 it has made auto creations. Unfortunatly the software picked pictures of my late wife on our last camping trip in April 2019, 6 weeks before she passed in May. She looks already very ill and I do not want to be reminded of this sad trip and her passing shortly after, every time I open PSE. I have since unchecked auto creations in Media Analysis but it still shows 5 creations and 3 are from pictures I took on that last trip. I tried ot get help from Adobe Support but was passed on from one agent to another and have given up. Can anybody PLEASE HELP, ths is very painful for me to look at these pictures. I am wondering if unsintalling and re-installing PSE 2020 would get rid of those auto creations.Thank you,Wolfgang 

I have just imported bulk files to my new Macbook. Some have arrived in multiples and when I try to remove them I get a message that "analysis is running" and I am unable to get rid of them. Help?

How do I delete photos that I no longer want from Organiser?
