Photoshop Elements

I have recently installed PSE15 and now wish to backup my PSE catalogs. I have separate backups of my images files, so would prefer to only backup the catalog metadata. Why I backup images separately is that, as far as I can tell, it is not possible to restore individual photos from a backed up catalog: the whole catalog has to be restored (correct me if I am wrong). Also I do my backups to the cloud using an online backup storage provider, and wish to avoid the slowness that would result if I had to backup all my photos as well.Has anyone got any ideas on this matter?

error message "IAC operation failed"what does it mean and how to correct?

I am trying to search for duplicate photos. I would like to select a photo to search for in a specific folder then search across all of my folders to see if that photo occurs elsewhere. If I select All Media it is very difficult to find the target photo for the search. I have over 55000 photos in my collection. Thanks for any help.

So i purchased Elements in 2018 and installed it on my imac with mac os High Sierra. Now i have a new macbook air and tried to install it there, but it fails because apparently the developer (adobe!) has not released an update compatible with Apples newes Osx Big Sur.  So what to do, do i need to purchase a new, or is there any update options?

Hi, I am using : Adobe Photoshop Elements Version: 19.0 (20210126.m.155261) x64Windows Desktop I am able to find only limited options for the Clone Stamp Tool.  There are no options for Rotate, Flip Horizontal, Flip Vertical.  I learned of these as described here:Retouch and repair photos (adobe.com) I have the Options Panel displayed below the picture I am editing (see attachment).  Older web posts have spoken of the Clone Source Panel under Windows, but no such option there for me.  (I thought perhaps "Source Panel" was different from "Options".  ??)  Thanks in advance.  ...Barry

I have an official Adobe Photoshop Element 10 which I bought some years ago. I have been using this software successfully ever since. I even reinstalled it twice when I purchased a new computer. Yesterday I accidentally deleted all my software on the computer when I reinstalled Windows 10. I have been trying to reinstall my 3 Photoshop 10 discs, but I cannot get past the second disc which keeps telling me that my Serial Number is wrong, when it is not. How can I reinstall my software successfully..

I have my photos organized in folders by Decade, Year, Activity - e.g. .../2010/2018/20180810-Family-Vacation (which contains individual photo files).  I mention this only so that I can refer to it im my questions below. Over this last year I have added photos to my watched folders that I have *not* imported when Organizer found them and offered to do so.  I don't have a record of which photos or what folders. Having passed on the opportunity, it seems that Organizer remembers my disinterest and does not offer to import them again.  Here are my questions:1. ==> Can I 'poke' the Organizer or the Watched Folders feature so that it will ask me again?2. Unfortunately, I've added 'a bunch' of files across a large number of folders.  I'd prefer not to have to import them all at once.  I'd like to import them in batches (as I should have) so that I can tag and process them in logical groups.3. ==> If I can do (1), is there a way to encorporate (2) into the

Because I don't think I did!  I certainly did not realize the potential consequences.I wanted to easily be able to get to various locations on my secondary HDDs (D:\ and M:\) from the Explorer quick links bar.  But I could not get it to work by jusst dragging the icon from the Explorer file tree to the bar.  Then I found an article saying one had to create symlinks to be able to add them to quick links.  So I did that.  Since I needed a place to store the symlinks, I created a folder c:\Users\[user]\SymLinks.Now I discover that the file path stored in the Organizer's database includes the SymLinks folder for some of my files! Not the direct path to the files themselves. It appears to happen when I use Import from Files and Folders and navigate to the folder in question - probably 'invoking' a symlink, although that is a guess; I am not going to take the time to experiment. I am using Photoshop Elements 2020 and I am looking for the color balance setting. Usually it was in the drop down menu of create new fill or adjustment layer but it's not and I cant find it anywhere.

I deleted some files from my hard drive.  How can I remove them from the Photoshop Elements catalog?  It insists on trying to find them and refuses to let me import a replacement because it says the file is already there!

Hi,I've had this problem for a week now - ever since I purchased Adobe Elements 2020 and Premiere 2020. Both of these launch fine but Organiser crashes on start-up. Hi I just installed Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements 2020 on Windows 10 and when I try to start organizer from the initial start up screen nothing happens I can start editor and Premiere from this screen but not organizer. Even going into editor or Priemiere and trying to launch organizer won't work. The only way to get organizer is to reboot then it will work. But if I then turn it off and try later same thing I will have to reboot to get organizer to work

Hi - I am very new to this and looking to build a catalog and organise all my personal photo's (approx 50k) - inc a ton from my iphone plus my wifes iphone. I am wanting to keep things simple in terms of both cataloging/organising and basic editing - so PE 21 seems like a good option. My question is that of importing photo's from multiple iphoto albums into PE. I know i can export from iphoto and then import into PE but I would like to do this in such a way that the photo's stay organised by month/date as they are in iphoto - rather than end up with thousands of iphoto pics in no particluar order etc. Whats the best way to move everythning into PE but keep the cataloging/organising already in iphoto's? 

I lost my Photoshop Elements in a fire in 2018. I had just purchased it that year. How can I download the program? (I still have my license # to install) 

How many computers can i install Elements 2020 on?

Are there detailed instruction on how to move elements 2020 to another PC and not lose tags, facial recogonition etc?

Hello,When i try to open photoshop element the OS say the APP must be update because 32b and Big sur want 64b app and I cannot obtain the serial number of rhis old app. Must i have to pay a new complete licence?Best regards.Daniel

I received a installationcode for installing Adobe Photoshop Elements consisting of a combination of 24 letters and numbers. The code contains 3 O (letter) or 3 0 (number). Can someone tell me how to find out whether it is a letter or a number?

Hi,Does anyone know how I can contact Adobe directly? I cannot find an email, Chat or phone number.I'm working on Mac OSX 10.13.6. I recently bought Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements 2020. Elements Editor and Premiere opens without issue but Organiser crashes each time.I've changed preferences and tried the 'open whilst holding shift' method without success.Contact details for Adobe would be helpful.Thanks.
