Photoshop Elements

I have elements 2021 registered Windows 10 version and just tried to use Zoom Burst effect again, but now the "add focus area" does not work. It worked fine when I first intalled 2021 but now when I draw my focus line nothing happens.Does anyone have any suggestions or a fix for this aggravating problem?

I just got a new Mac and moved everything over from my old Mac, inluding Elements14.  It worked initially, but after the first time it wouldnt open any more.  I tried restarting the computer, but it just doesnt respond.  Tech support says that its no longer supported by Catalina and that I have to update to the new version.  However, the program continues to run fine on the other computer.  I don't really want to spend $100 on what is basically the same program and all tech support wants to do is sell me the new program.  Does anyone know a work around?

I have set the PTC-Tag CodedCharacterSet to UTF8 in all my files. Now I changed some tags in Photoshop Elements Organizer and saved the meta-data in the changed files. Then unfortuately the IPTC-Tag has been deleted. Has anyone an explanation why this happens? Is it possible, to change this behavoir?

Hi I am wondering if I am still able to update my photoshop element even though I have element 8. I do not if that is ok or it just been too long to do so. 

When using the "create" menu and selecting collage I can't figure out how to increase the picture resolution. I am combining three 24MP images and when I go to save my project as JPEG I realize the file has been reduced to 1800x1200 300 DPI. I want to print a canvas so this is way too small. The ability to resize in the image from "image" menu is also greyed out and not able to be selected. 

I have been using elements 18 with no problems until I started playing around with fun edits in the guided edits section-its quite fun to see what it can do but now the paint brush will not work !! everything else works but not the paint brush-SSSOOOO what is the problem-anybody else have this issue ?? its very frustrating since I had an idea I was working on and now am stuck...

I just installed Adobe Premier Elements and Photoshop Elements 2021, and neither will open.  I tried opening a picture with "open with" then choosing Photoshop Elements 2021, but it still won't open.  I am running Windows Version 10.  Any advice/help is appreciated!

I just bought a Canon 6D mark II camera and although it is suppose to be accepted with elements, especially because my updates are all up to date, it keeps saying I still need an update. I tried downloading an adobe dng converter but that didn't do anything. I shouldn't have to even convert anything and I'm at a loss as to what to do. Can someone please help me figure out how to open my photos in camera raw so I can edit them?? Thank you 

Just purchased and installed the latest Photo Shop Elements and Premier Elements so that I can add place tags to my collections. But cant find how to do it any help appreicated.

I recently had to switch to PSE 11 from my ancient PSE 2 because I upgraded to Win 10 and PSE 2 doesn't work in 10.   There is an issue with PSE 11, though.  If I have the program maximized and I click on the very edge of the screen (any edge, top, bottom, left, right), it drops out of 11 and to whatever program is under it.  This is VERY annoying. It is as though the apparently full screen view is missing some pixels at the edge that allow me to click on whatever is beneath it. This only happens in PSE 11, not Firefox or whatever. This is on a new Windows 10 machine running a U28E590 monitor.  Settings says the display is 1090p but advanced settings says it's running at 4k.  The video card is a 3080.

Hello people! After starting PSE19 I see a brief loading animation on my mouse cursor, but PSE19 does not start. In the Windows 10 task manager, however, I see that PSE19 has started. My PC meets all the requirements for PSE19 and I have already worked with the program. However, the surface has recently stopped loading. I've already reinstalled PSE, but it didn't work. I am a little loss what that could be?

I've downloaded Photoshop Elements 2021 onto my iMac using the App Store.  I was looking for the Patch Tool under Healing Brush but there isn't one.  Is this not an option on this version?  

I used Photoshop Elements to resize a photo to 4x6 inches. The print preview in both Elements and my Canon printer's Print Preview shows the photo filling the entire 4x6 photo paper (I selected "Borderless Printing.). But when I print out the photo, there is an unwanted border at the top of the photo. I've made two attempts at changing settings, but the only result is a minor change in the size of the unwanted border at the top. Any help will be sincerely appreciated! (See attached photos.)

I have photoshop elements 8. I just installed a new hp envy 7855 printer.I cannot print photos, the photo document stays in the queue and says an error happened.It does not give me an error number.HP tells me I need to update my adobe software.I there a software update for Elements 8?Where or how would I get this update?

I have just started using Photoshop Essentials Organiser for a trial period after many years uf using Microsoft Live Photo Gallery. I've several thousand photos with Keyword Tags that I previously used to provide categories within folders so that I could see a whole trip broken up into individual locations. I can see that I could have an Album for a trip and Album Categories for the individual locations. To avoid re-typing every location I would like to use the keywords as categories but can't see how I can do this. When I enter the text used in a Keyword Tag to set up a Category I'm told that this has already been used in  tag ,which suggests that there might be a way to use the tag as an Album Category. I hope I've explained my problem clearly. Thanks for any help.

Problem: Cannot convert PhotoshopElements2020 Catalog to PhotoshopElements2021 - process says catalog is corrupt.I tried "repair anyway" - still failsHere's my situation:I am attempting to move 47,000+ photos off an old HP Laptop running current Windows 10- running PhotoshopElements 2020 with no problem- PhotoshopElements catalog started with PhotoshopElements 3, then PhotoshopElements 5, 10, 13, 14, 15 and 2020- all coversions up to and including PhotoshopElements 2020 went fine- 2 external hard disks + internal drive hold the 47K+ photos- Attempting to MOVE TO:New HP Desktop (Win10) with 8gb internal drive, running PhotoshopElements2021/PremiereElements2021(My first install of PhotoshopElements 2021 on the HP Desktop failed with a clean copy of photos - I ended up having to uninstall/reinstall PhotoshopElementslements/Premiere Elements 2021)1) I copied the catalog from the laptop to the desktop, with the intent of reconnecting the files. Hi everyone. I've just brought a new MacBook with Big Sur as the Os and wanted to download Elements onto it. I have signed out of my old Mac and deutherised it. I've been able to use my key code and it started to download the application. It gets as far as a window appears asking do I want to launch the organiser, photo editor of video editor. I have tried each one however it comes up saying the application files are corrupt and to re-install. I have tried this roughly 5 times however nothing has made a difference. I have no other applications, updates running in the background. Can anyone help? Thanks  

Not sure what's happening but whenever I try and copy from Elements Organizer and right-click to paste anywhere else in my computer I get the Windows spinning circle for about 30-40 seconds before the right-click menu appears. Even copying will cause Elements to freeze for the same amount of time. The program behaves like it's working very hard to do a very simple task. Task manager reports that the program is utilizing up to 10% of the processor and is in "very high" power usage. Anyone have any suggestions on what's going on?

Behind the subject there's a distracting background area lit by an incandescent. How do I subtract yellow from just that area? It's a non-simple area, but both the green and white should be affected equally, so I don't thank that adds to the complexity. I tried a selection layer adjusting photo filter, levels, hue. BTW it's only Photoshop Elements 9... Thanks 

Does the new 2021 Photoshop Elements organizer now accept pdf documents?   I’m forced to remain on Photoshop Elements 14 because it was the last version that accepted pdf documents.   I’m a genealogist and pdf documents are a necessity.  Why would Adobe ever remove that capability?

I am useing Adobe Photoshop 2019 Ver. 17in this photo sample I need to remove objects on the wallI did use Auto Selection tool and then I tryed  to find Remove Object icon, where is it hiding ?As the Help section suggests in Guided>Basics>Object Removal I could not find itPlease help, all I need is to remove object on the wall    

Something happened to the tools I had available on my Elements 2019 -- most of them no longer show up -- see screenshot below.  I finally gave up and downloaded Elelment 2021 and it also has just those few tools available.  How to I get all the tools back.  I want to draw arrows, make shapes, etc.  This is a Windows 10 computer.
