Premiere (Beta)

Major bug since today's beta update 14.7.0.17: https://streamable.com/nvr05f As you can see, when paused, videos and images do not display on the program monitor. It only displays when playing. Essentially, Pr Beta is unusable right now for me 😞  my PC specs:Windows 10 64 bit, Ryzen 3900x CPU, RTX 2080 Super GPU, 64GB RAM, all my storage are 2TB M.2 gen 4 SSDs. My GeForce game Ready Driver is the most recent version 457.30   

Quando a playhead está parada na timeline na versaõ beta do premiere a tela de preview do programa fica preta e não dá para visualizar o vídeo, isso com certeza é um bug e irrita muito pois vc não consegue ver o video quando está com a playhead no stop.

when I imported a folder with the video files I was unable to open the folder by double-clicking I will have to import the files separately from the folder individually

Pr Beta 14.6.0.39 - Bins are not opening. I double click on a bin, nothing happens. I cant even open bin in new window or new tab or even in place. Heres video of me trying: https://streamable.com/ge857w This issue began in Pr Beta 14.6.0.39 And yes, I made sure my settings were correct: Hope this gets fixed soon, not being able to open bins/folders makes Pr Beta un-usable 😞 Thanks for looking into this  

Would be nice if it opened in the centre instead of beeing stuck at the right hand top corner.

YOu can addt them as control surface devices, but they do not populate the device class screen. (It just shows a blank line for each item.)the controllers do not work....

I'm testing the new Captions feature, importing my own .srt files.In the old Captions panel, you could add a Return to create a nicer two-line caption. I can't do this in the PPro Beta v14.7.0 Build 18. So you end up with a really long first line, and then one word ("widow") on the secondline.  I hope this is just a bug and no "as designed"! I will need to edit the .srt file in a code editor before using. Otherwise, I like the new interface, particularly the rolling edit to adjust the timing. 

Premiere freezes on RAW footage as soon as I try to open them in source monitor. But if i disable masterclip effects it is fixed. This is with Blackmagic RAW and with RED Raw footage.

Steps to reproduce:    1. Add new captions workflow. Add captions to subtitle track. Change playback quality to High Quality or Paused resolution to full quality. Enable Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (CUDA) in project settings. Result: Captions do not show in High Quality playback or when paused in Full resolution paused quality. Turn off High Quality playback and the captions appear when playing again. Turn paused resolution to anything but Full and captions will appear when paused. Switch to software renderer and captions will show in High Quality and when paused in full resolution.Expected: Captions to always show when on a caption clip, no matter software/GPU renderer or quality setting. System info    Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v14.7.0.17    OS: Windows v10.0.19041, RAM: 63.95 GB, CPUs (logical): 12    GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080Ti (Studio Driver 456.38)

Hello, I cant edit the video because it it black screen but when I play the video I can see the video.So I am unable to edit  en GPU Acceleration (CUDA) so I have to change it to Mercury Playback Software only in the project setting in order to make it work. I got the lastest drivers installed for Nvidia (Creative) - GTX 1080 

Updated the Beta version this morning to 14.7. Opened a project and none of the media appeared in program or preview monitors. Rolled back to previous Beta version 14.6 and all is working...Ss

14.7.0 Beta Build 18R Right clicked audio clip in sequence and selected Speed/Duration.  Speed is 100% and select '100' to enter a new speed.  Pressed delete button on keyboard to clear the 100.  Any number entered at 30 or above is ok.  Any number starting with 0, 1, or 2 doesn't work.  The speed automaticly becomes 2.95.  You can change the 2.95 to anything 30 or above, but never anything below 30.

Every time I add a simple lower thirds (that has worked problem free for years) PP Beta crashes.

I'm having an issue with the current beta app 14.7 build 18R.   When I use the Proxies/Create Proxies from either my BRAW or from mov files, the resultant file has no image, it's simply black inside and outside of Premiere. This is with the included proxy presets, both ProRes Lo-res proxy preset and the H.264 preset.   If I right-click/export the clip from the bin using the same preset as is used in the proxy preset, it produces a normal file. Which I can attach as proxy just fine.   I'm including one of the files.   Neil        

Hi, I'm thinking it may be relevant to my system -- as 2 different mic setups (1 via usb directly, the other thru a focusrite) have me recording no audio through the voiceover tool in PremierePro 2020 and it's beta version too.  I've checked Premiere's and my mac's audio preferences and everything seems to be in order. Anyone else having difficulty with VOs in latest Premiere releases? Thanks,Nathan

When I copy and paste a Caption in the subtitle timeline, it doesn't maintain the same properties. Rather, it resets to the default font, size, position, field size, anchor point/zone, etc.When I add a new caption, it does the same. Since I've had issues with master styles changing multiple different captions to the same text, I've shied away from using them. Please, fix the master styles feature or let copies of captions be legit copies.

I'm guessing this won't ever be fixed because there's a brand new (incompatible with older versions) captioning workflow coming in PPro. Except that it doesn't currently work - at all. I can add a caption, and while the video is playing in PPro, it displays correctly. But as soon as I stop playback, it vanishes. And when I export video, it vanishes too. (And I'm using open captions).

Hello, I tried selecting all the captions and change their size/font but some words inside the captions are not affected by the changes. 

I just happend that i cannot see anything inside the sequence i am working in. i dont know what triggers that.    linked a screenshot of the sequence  iam working on that shows nothing of the insrted items in the sequence but the sequence is playable .

Text 機能しないです　ビルド16に上げてスピーチプログラムに参加しましたが市井さんがやっているようには出来ませんでした／

文字起こし機能が上手く起動しません。 有効をして、プロジェクトが変更されて、それをまたBeta版で起動しまして Textウィインドウをクリックしても、文字起こし機能が起動しません。読み込みも出来ません。　 市井さんがテスト動画をアップされていましたがその様にはなりませんでした。beta版のファイルをクリックしているのに、製品版が起動されてしまいわざわざ、情報を見るから、Beta版を選んで起動し無いと起動しないバグでしょうか？修正のほどお願い致します。 それと、製品版よりも起動が遅くもたつきます。新規で起動しているのにもかかわらずにですMacOSX 10.15.7です。

In the 14.6.0 BETA (Build 46[R]), if you select all captions and use the numerical positioners (x,y) it changes the content of all captions to that of the first caption in the track. The zone positioner works as it should.
