Premiere (Beta)

I am attempting a job for the first time using the new caption features in Premiere Beta 15.0I have created caption styles that I then either wish to delete or rename. How is this done?

Steps to reproduce:- Right click inside the clip you want to edit its speed- Make sure that the speed and duration option is disabled. Result:  The speed and duration option seems to be disabled, it seems to be the same bug that had the option of nesting sequences within a projectExpected: ... System info    Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v25.2.0.100    OS: macOS v14.5.0, RAM: 16,00 GB GB, CPUs (logical): 8

Nesting is impossible in PP beta 25.2.0 build 87 and in PP 25.1 (both German language) on Mac Mini 2018 with MacOS 15.1.1 (24B91) and external GPU AMD Radeon Pro 580.The menu item Nest ("Verschachteln") is greyed out.It does not even work with the official trial file from https://learndownload.adobe.com/pub/learn/premiere/premiere-pro-nesting-sequence-cc.zipHave I missed a required setting? or is it a bug?

Lumetri takes about 15 seconds to update its edits in the Program monitor/scopes Build 90 and earlier. W11, gtx1070ti source clips canon mxf intraframe. preview codec Prores LT. When the home panel opens it would never let me open any project clicked from the first try, instead I'd have to click several 3+ clicks frantically -- then it will initialize the opening... This is happening from the very beginning of the appearance of the renewed Home panel long ago.

Hi, I updated Premiere Beta from version 25.1x63 to version 25.2x31. I open the project and see this "This project contains masks or generative AI features that are not supported with this version of Premiere Pro. To view and edit with these effects, update to the latest version of the app.". What does this mean? Very strange 😞 

Steps to reproduce:While I usually drag & drop footage into the project bin, I decided to try the Import function.1. Started new project, Import screen came up2. Selected files from the folder on my drive array (all silent AVI clips)3. Import Result: 1. Nearly all the files on the drive appeared in the bin and on the timeline, including audio files from another project.2. In the Program window the bit of the screen that was in the Import window (showing the file thunbnails) stayed in the program window.3. Program becamse unresponsive and crashed when closingExpected: ... Hey i really need help with this as my deadline is coming. As you can see, i have two tracks with captions. One in Englisch transcripted by Premiere(lower track) and one translated by Premiere (upper track). Does does enyone know why the translate function doesn't translate all the captions /  ideas on how to fix it?  I sellected all te captions, klicked on translate, and than it made this track that stops after 5 minutes.   

I use Premiere Pro Beta version 24.4 (which is the latest version, with not other latest versions available), and my Creative Cloud app (as seen in my screenshot) tells me that Generative Extend is available to me and compatible with my version. However it is not showing up in my Toolbar and I can't figure it out for the life of me how to add it.

Hi there,I use Premiere pretty much exclusively offline to abide by security policy - the language packs and transcription/caption tools being available offline is a big part of my current workflow. The new translation feature for captions would be game changing, but is it available only when online? Knowledge on how the tool functions and where the process may incur storage of the data is important.Thanks,Sam

 Hey, does enyone know why not all the captions are translated? The selected (white) captions are the original ones in English. The captions above are the translated ones in Dutch. But as you can see they end way before the English ones.

I'm running the latest beta version and this is happening to me. Some clips are shown as duplicates, but where they originally appear is NOT shown as a duplicate. Then in a different scenario - when I have a clip that shows its a duplicate in both instances and I delete the duplicate, the markers dont go away on the original clip. Not sure if its not showing or isnt there or what but its all messed up.  It sometimes updates if you close the sequence and open it back up. But not always.  

unable to edit basic text in the graphics template

Everytime I select Lumetri in a multi-cam it always goes to no clip slected.  I will restart Premiere and I will beable to select a clip but do two adjustments and then Lumetri will be greyed out again. 

Apply the tint effect to a clip. In the effect panel, go clip the Map black to or map white to to adjust the color mapping then press ok. Nothing happens.

There is still zero activity on iGPU for H264 footage scrubbing the timeline.This problem is there is 25.1 release and Adobe have done nothing about it despite multiple users demonstrating there is a definite problem https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-discussions/premiere-pro-25-1-igpu-stopped-decoding-my-footage/m-p/15116580/page/5#M550552 Your current explanation @mayjain7130546 is that you have done this to move load to NVidia for H264.Then why does H265 still rely 'automatically decide' on iGPU Quicksync for H265 decoding which works fine. There is no logic in this approach???? Please fix this H264 iGPU decode bug and re-instate the code that worked in Premiere 25.0. Introduce some potential fixes in Beta versions so we can test them. I have stayed on Win 11 23H2 to avoid other complexities apparent with Win 11 24H2 and intel drivers.I am on xxx6449 Intel driver which works perfectly well with 25.0 version.    

This is a complaint about transcript. There are way to many times it "looses it's place" when you're editing. In this case, I'm putting down a chapter marker to a spot I think will make a good TikTok. When I mark it, I like to look at the text for inspiration on the label, but the text jumps to the top of the transcript.  I have to keep a mental note because I cannot move the transcript until I close the chapter marker box.  This happens when I save my work - it'll jump away from the marker point until I hit play or move the head.  Is there a way to make this not happen?

Suddenly this am premiere Pro won't open at all the splash screen comes up and the logo appears in my taskbar then disappears. pro beta says press ok after attaching debugger ? what does that mean? i have installed both and reinstalled but I get the same issue  help!!!! please 

The locking of the thread where you first announced this UI change months ago leaves me no choice but to make a new post for it entirely. I don't know how, after an entire thread of people saying that they dislike the change save for maybe two or three outliers, you can still insist on maintaining this rounded corner aesthetic in software that is used by thousands for the purpose of cutting and editing PRECISELY. The argument of it being better 'because of psychology' is so bogus, and despite the renouncing of it from your users, your only reply on the subject consisted of 'i didn't like it either, but i got used to it, and now the old version looks old', completely sidestepping the point that people were trying to make. If we can't see sharp edges where its implied that clips are connecting without a gap, then ADDING a gap via rounding will create the illusion or ambiguity that there may be an unintended gap. The most bug ridden program ever has decided to start crashing out the blue and will not let me finish my work at all. This is just non stop with Adobe and highly frustrating. Thank goodness they have this community otherwise I don't think this program would ever run.

In Premiere Pro 2025 beta, the video source doesn't display in the source/program window. Instead, the source window displays a glitchy image of another window. For example, when in the edit tab, switching to the import tab, and switching back to the edit tab, the source window displays a cropped image of the import tab. This is the same for the export tab. It seems to display whatever window you switch to. I can still export the project but cannot see what I am doing. Version: Premiere Pro 2025 (Beta) 25.0OS: 64xEdition: Windows 10 HomeVersion: 22H2

I don't know if I'm the only one having this issue, but since I started using the Beta I'm not able to save my project. For every manual save I have to choose a new name using 'Save as...', because there is an unnamed error that prevents saving the file in the same location.Is it possible that this error occurs because I am saving on my dropbox (of course not directly, but in a dropbox-synchronized folder/drive)?
