Premiere (Beta)

A weird ghosting or audio anomaly where dialog is repeated or has a residual vocal artifact under it when using the Enhance feature. I feel like it might be a cache issue. Love to see this resolved because it shows up in the outputs. Thanks!!

We have streamlined the sequence presets by creating some new ones with the most common specs and moving all the old ones down to a “legacy” folder.      Access these presets whenever you create a new sequence from any of the following places: File menu > New > Sequence Project panel > New Item > Sequence (this is the little icon in the bottom right of the project panel)   We want to know what you think.  Please join the conversation below.

Hello! I am using the current beta version. Everything is up to date. I cannot move clips in the timeline or drag and drop anything in to the timeline. I've uninstalled, installed, restarted my mac, and reset preferences. Is any solution out there? 

Is anyone able to scale their Sequence Dialogue box in the 2024 PP? I have all the right display settings on my computer but it's still too large for my screen and I can't reach the 'ok/cancel' buttons. Any suggestions?

As you saw in my earlier post about text panel enhancements, transcripts are becoming more central in editing workflows. Starting today in Premiere Pro (Beta) you can create rough cut edits from selected Text passages.   To start, you can generate transcripts of your footage in the background when you import your media. Alternatively, you can generate transcripts from the Text panel after your project has been created. Either way, the Sequence transcript panel dynamically syncs with your Timeline: as you make changes in your Sequence transcript, the Timeline will reflect your changes – and vice versa.   My colleagues and I created some starter footage for you, as well as a tutorial so you can try it out. Lumetri auto color does not work when Warp Stabilizer is stacked above Lumetri. Change the stacking order and it works like expected. Is this a bug or by design?

Unless I'm missing something, since installing the beta version of Premiere, every time I export a frame with the "import into project" box clicked, it never actually imports. It does create a file on my drive, which I'm then able to manually import, but it would really save a lot of cumulative time for me to have it work the way it used to/should.

I have been using MOGRT files from the essential graphics panel, mostly those provided by Adobe themselves, for opening title treatments or lower thirds. You can change text, color, positions, etc. with no issues. But if you replace the media graphics used, the beta will crash. You will not be able to render it, and doing do almost always crashes, but a few times the progress bar does display and simply  nothing happens. Cancelling the progress bar usually crashes the app. Going back and doing the exact same method but using the officially released 24.0, everything works perfectly and as expected. No crashes. 

I'm working on Premiere Pro Beta 15.1.0 Build 24 but the bug i'm reporting has also been affecting me on all Premiere Pro 14 (public release) projects I've worked. Every time I sync / merge a video and audio clip, I can't mark in and out points on the newly created clip until I quit and relaunch Premiere Pro. My specs:MacPro 3.7 Quad-Core Intel XeonE5MacOS Catalina, 10.15.720GB RAM Thanks, Marcos H.

A lot of the graphics and plug ins that I added (and that played before I updated) will not play or render anymore.  Video playback and export freezes at the start of it, and won't move forward.  The box appears red, so maybe it is registering as offline media? Not sure, but a bit frustrating when your at the end of a project and cant export some of your effects.

The timeline panel’s method of displaying content is now faster and smoother than ever.   We’ve made some under-the-hood changes to the way the timeline UI is displayed which is reflected in edits, drag/drops, and scrolling, especially on large panels. Dragging the playhead is more responsive.   The feedback on trimming, dragging transitions and effects will now draw a blue, shaded rectangle instead of using an inverted color.   Auto scrolling when dragging the playhead or clips or during edits, is now variable speed and much smoother.   Please reach out if any have any issues, questions, or feedback.     We want to know what you think.  Please join the conversation below.

You can now start a new project based on a template project in import mode.  It’s common to repeat your same workflow from project to project and pros have learned that  creating a project template speeds things up when getting started and gives you a head start on organization.     Any project file can be used as a template.  The entire project structure will be copied into your new project including all bins, sequences, and media.   Copying the media is handy if you have media that gets reused a lot like intros, graphics, or bumpers.  Essentially, we are creating a duplicate of the project with the new name and location.  Any media that you select during import mode will also be added to the new project, but of course you don’t have to import anything at first.   Here's how it works: Enter import mode by choosing “New project” from the home screen or File > New project. Not really a bug necessarily, but just wanted to report to Adobe that there is a misspelling on the little tip pop-up when you hover over the "Enhance" button of the new Enhance Speech feature in Essential Sound on Premiere Pro Beta. It spells professional as "profressional." See screenshot for reference.

Hey I really want't to try the new enhanced speach function in premiere beta but it's not coming up in my essential sound panel as shown in the ads and how countless yourtubers explain it to be located.  Any help is very much apprechiated. Thank you

Anyone else have this issue with Frame.io and "Enhanced Audio"/AI audio feature? --the audio that is enhanced in your timeline is not exporting when you choose to upload via frame.io--the audio that acutally makes it into the sequence is not enhanced and or the regular audioI hope this gets fixed soon bc enhanced audio is a gamechanger and seamlessly working with Frame.io is even better!Thanks team!

You can now access your Team Project’s Version and Auto Save History by selecting the Team Project name in the Premiere Pro header bar. The new header bar menu also lets you select your Team Project settings.   Selecting Version History or Auto Save History opens the Media Browser in Premiere Pro and selects your open Team Project.     You can open any Team Project version or create a new Team Project from a version via the Media Browser.     You can also create a new Team Project from any Auto Save or make any Auto Saved version the latest version of your Team Project via the Media Browser.     Selecting Team Project Settings opens the Team Project Settings dialog which lets you edit the Team Project Name, the Description, the Collaborators as well as a number of other settings including Color, Scratch Disks, Ingest Settings, etc.   To learn more auto saves and versions of Team Projects:   https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/using/v

It was suggested to me in the regular Premier Pro community to post this here as well.Hi, I am a translator and Swedish is my native language.I wish to offer enhancing the transcribe function of Premiere Pro by submitting manually transcribed videos to Adobe. This will allow the software to learn and enhance its transcription feature for Swedish.I am requesting nothing in return, except for the possibility that transcription will be improved.  Is there any way to offer this help to Adobe?

Help, I was "wowed" by all the improvements (Lumetri Color Settings, Working + Sequence Color Space options with the Source Clip Media Color Space of SLog3, etc.) that the Premiere Pro 2023 beta version had, and have pretty much exhausted my knowlendge and too many hours researching and working with Neat Video's support, to no avail. What's happening is when I try to apply the Neat Video effect for noise on a handful of really dark areas/rooms, it totally pixilates (?) and discolors the clip, and it just doesn't work right. I tried to copy and paste the Premiere Pro 2023 beta project seqence into the regular Premiere Pro 2023 sequence, and it doesn't do anything. I would hate to have to redo the entire project in the regular Premiere Pro 2023 in order to finish my project...so any help is greatly apprecaited since I've spent waaaaay too many hours trying to trouble-shoot the issue. I will attach some screen shots that show the codec, color space, examples of what's happening, etc.

When you paste a clip or more after choosen a target track on the left, the clip will paste aleays on the first track (Video 1) instead of the choosen one.
