Premiere (Beta)

I'm Using the current Beta Premiere Pro v24.6. I'm naming my files in my finder window, then importing them into a new premiere pro project. So I name a batch of 7 files for a short film I'm working on, Take 1-7, then I import them into premiere. However, I notice a file from the same angle, and sure enough, one of the files I just uploaded was an 13 second, in between, nothing shot. So I clear the footage, delete the in between shot from my files, and name everything correctly. But when I import the new file, it only lists 13 seconds, and has glitchy audio. I have to rename the file in my files with an attachment in order for it to treat it as a new file.

I am editing a podcast in PP(beta), and after making all the cuts, to reduce filler words, etc.  I selected all the clips on the audio track and ran Enhance Speech at default 7.0.      I noticed when listening that after each cut point the volume was lower then the end of the previous clip.   Requiring manual keyframing to lift the volume on the front of many of the subclips.    

The three dots to drop down the menu for transcripts doesn't work. 

Premiere Pro will now replicate the folder structure exactly when importing folders. In previous versions of Premiere Pro, empty folders and folders containing only one file were not included as part of the import operation; the files would be imported, but not the folder itself. Now, in the latest beta build, 23.6.0 build 15 or later, all folders will now be included when importing assets using File>Import, Drag and Drop, and Media Browser.     In the example pictured.  The following folders would not get turned into bins, now they will. 03 Graphics      – Empty folder would previously get left out 04 Music           – Folder with only 1 item would previously get left out 05 Photos         – Folder with only 1 item would previously get left out 06 Documents  – Empty folder would previously get left out Now all these folders are turned into b

This was a bug in PP a few months ago and looks to be back in the beta. I'm on build 74, but on the previous few builds exporting through ME would ignore all my Waves vst plugins. Doing the same thing now. 

After the latest  update my filter button no longer works for text-based editing. After transcribing my clips, I can usually click the filter  button and it pops down with Filter by Filler words or Pauses and I  can choose pauses and delete them all. Now that is not showing up, the button just turns blue and does nothing.

Did you know that there are actually three monitor windows in Premiere Pro?  There are the Source Monitor and Program Monitor that everyone knows and loves, but there is also the Reference Monitor.  We have decided to remove the Reference Monitor due to extremely low usage and awareness.  In the ongoing effort to modernize our codebase and maintain the highest possible quality in the app, we sometimes have to say goodbye to old, out-of-date features.   Don’t worry! We are NOT removing the source monitor. We are NOT removing the external transmit monitor capability (what most people call a reference monitor).  Your AJA and BMD boxes will continue to function! The caption export function does not open option when clicking on the three dots. Saved project and restarted. no Beta update option available.

Hi, I have a Canon C70.And record almost all my work in Log 2. And edit it on my Premiere Beta Version. Never had any problem editing MXF files. Never make any proxy. Since april 2024, my MXF are playing kinda of slow. It plays well, but sometimes it gets slow. Never had his problem before. When working in the text panel in the 24.6.0 BETA (Build 72) the three dots on the top right do not bring up a menu when clicking on them. They will turn from gray to blue but the menu never appears. 

dialog boxes are too long, I have to quit out because I can't see buttons to make selection/ there's no x-ing out of box option.

I've now used it about four seperate times and each time the computer is crashing.  I'm on a Mac with macOS 13.5.2. Please advise.

I'm using Premier Pro beta (latest version). Until last update I can export movies but not I'm getting error. Error is: Error compiling movie. Unable to produce frame. I removed timecode frame but it happens again to removed that frames. I also changed renderer methot into project settings but i'm getting similar error.  How can I pass it?

Really liking the new Pan and Zoom option in the Viewers. I'm using the scroll wheel on my mouse and its very intuitive. Once thing I would love is the option to quickly jump to "Fit" or 100% in the view options. I'd like to be able to quickly zoom in, pan around and then pull back out to a "normal" view without too many extra clicks. Maybe double-clicking the mouse wheel? Or a quick modifier+click. I know I could probably add my own Scale to Fit option in Keyboard Shortcuts but it would be nice to add it in the tool itself.

I'm wondering if it may be possible to set an automatically generated captions track to create two lines of subtitle text instead of just one. Steps I'm following:• I'm using early access to the speech-to-text feature• Navigated to captions window and selected the Captions tab• Clicked "Transcribe sequence" and edited the generated transcription• Selected "Create new caption track" and selected "Subtitle" for format• The generated subtitles are single lines of text (image attached) Single lines of subtitles means that the text displays very briefly on screen, particularly when the captions are for people who speak quickly. Two lines is typically more standard for subtitles, and I'd like the option to do this without having to manually combine two lines at a time and then re-edit the timings for each caption.  In the Captions window or in Premiere settings, I can't find a way to potentially create two lines automatically. Adobe -- If this option doesn't yet

I probably use paste attributes more than most, but curious if it makes sense to give users the ability to quickly select/deselect check boxes in the paste attributes dialog box. I am constantly trying to paste specific attributes and it would be great to quickly deselect all the other properties I don't want to paste. It could work similar to how you toggle on/off track targeting in the timeline by shift-clicking or toggling on/off layer visibility in AE by clicking and dragging up/down.

So I was just restarting premiere pro like i usually do and when i came back 97% of clips in the seqeunce were gone but still in the Bin (not in the project, i know, i have no idea how they ended up in the bin, i didn't choose it) so i tried to link the media, it found the missing video file and then i tried to click ok, then it just said the importer reported a generic error, COME ON IT EVEN FOUND THE ORIGINAL FILE!!! this is really annoying me and i can't lose this project (image below is an example

I'm using Premiere Beta ver. 24.6.0 BETA (Build 62). I just rendered files which are revised duplicates from a template project I use regularly. I designated the directory I want to render to but it appears to havenot only rendered to the folder I specified, but it also made duplicate renders and saved them to the directory the sequence I had duplicated/revised and previously rendered to (I hope that's clear). For example: I duplicated a file, revised it, rendered to a newly specified location and it also rendered to the directory the original sequence was saved to. Image attached. Same naming convention/same render times. If it matters, in the export window I also exported using the vimeo output option simultaneous to the directory I was rendering to. Weird.
