Premiere (Beta)

Since the last Premiere Pro Beta update, every time I open a project, the mix volume in the Audio Track Mixer starts at "minus infinity", muting all sound for the project. When I manually adjust it to zero, the volume goes back to where it needs to be, but then resets after I close the project and open it again later. System info    Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v24.3.0.9    OS: Windows v10.0.19045, RAM: 31.95 GB GB, CPUs (logical): 12

Steps to reproduce:    1. Using the "Editorial" label settings, I set a label to the "SFX" label Result: Text on clip in timeline changes to white, makes it unreadable.Expected: Text should remain black so it can bre readable. System info    Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v24.5.0.48    OS: macOS v14.0.0, RAM: 64.00 GB GB, CPUs (logical): 24

What are the significance of these lines. A couple of times I've found that they obstructed my ability to visually see a stray single frame clip accidently left over next to a cut point.

There has to be a way to make the file menu bar and subsequent menus match the dark mode appearance theme. It looks so asburd in Windows 98 grey. Even the Beta doesn't have the option? Please tell me I'm just missing it?

I sent my audio out to my sound mixer as an AAF. He is editing in ProTools and my cuts are not coming through clean. There is bleed over that's adding audio past where my cuts are. This has never happened before and we have done multiple exports in this format over the past few months, with the most recent one being about 2 weeks ago. My Sequence sound settings are: Sample Rate: 44100 HzDisplay Format: Audio Samples My AAF Export Settings are: Breakout To Mono EnableSample Rate 4800Bits per Sample: 16Files: Seerate AudioFormat: Broadcast WaveRender Copy Complete Audio Files I also tried to export again, with the same results. I also tried to Render: Trim Audio Files with a 3 frame handle. That resulted in 650+ files and an extended export time. My audio person really likes the format w/ol the rendered files, as we have been doing for the whole year.  Please note that I am using the Beta version and keep it updated whenever there is a new notice in Creative

In general, the UI colors are not good for quick read of data, the blue theme for buttons was good, the grey thing buttons are not good.1. The colors of the new Dark Theme are too strong, if the black zone could be less dark ?24.5 vs Beta 24.6 b55   2. And why the borders have to be this large and that black ? could it be half size ?3. Its harder to read at a quick glance what changes where made for the sequence menu, the blue colors where nice, the new "grey" theme for buttons and text is not readable 24.5 vs Beta 24.6 b55      

Please add audio clip merging with auto fadein and out like audition already has will be an added advantage, alaso add option of editing whole audio track with multiple clips as it is in timeline to open in audition and return back in premierpro instead of just one piece of clip can be edited in audition.

while editing the app froze and it became unresponsive, after a while the top menu drop down list started showing white blank and also gave me error, finally I had to close app and restart. 

While we're on the topic of bins, I see this has been discussed before: My recent problem was, I opened a project that hadn't been used for a while, and it had several sequences scattered within several bins, so I was looking for a particular one. I had no way to find the sequence other than to look carefully at the little icon in the corner of a clip in tile view or as the identifier in list view. Took forever, especially since my bifocals can't distinguish those tiny icons easily. In list view, Just put the type icon in a "type" column and allow that to be sorted by clicking the column header.  That will group all the item types together and the sequences would be all grouped where they could be found. In tile view, add "sequence" to the list of  items that can be searched for. And the other older discussions are good to review too.

Wanted to raise the issue that using Enhance Speech, while the ONLY tool in the arsenal that was able to remove some hideous mic/scratching noises caused by equipment from a recent lecture, had an undesired side effect of completely removing the _accents_ from the voices of our non-native English speakers.Some other side effects:1. Made our female speakers sound more demure/wary in tone.2. Made some of our speakers sound robotic.As such, we never used the Enhance speech above 10% in any of our talks except one and that talk is in review by the presenter to get their consent given how drastically it changed their voice.  

I have a problem with a file it seems this problem with project to open it can not locate anything, I tried to make full access files to adobe software but no luck it's related to Dynamic Link  

If I select "enhance speech", why the new audio file won't be saved? If I save a project, close and open it again, PremierePro starts again with the "enhance speech" process, lost all data from before. But what is really really horrible: It has the same behavior ALWAYS if I simply change something small on the audio track like shortening or cutting things out. For example: I listen to the optimized audio track and find a part where the AI just created BS. Means, it gives a really weird sound like farting or burping, but nothing was spoken there. So the easiest solution is to cut this little piece out. But in the moment I'm doing the first cut, it already starts immediately again with enhance speech for now two parts right away after cutting. If I place a second cut for removing this little part, it starts again enhancing from the beginning now with all 3 parts. Audio clip info such as clip names, FX icons, and audio type badges aren't visible in the sequence unless multiple levels of timeline track zoom are applied.  In the below images, audio info isn't visible till three levels of zoom to audio tracks is applied. No Zoom: Zoom x 1 Zoom x 2 Zoom x 3 This differes from how info is shown on current (24.3.0 Build 59) and previous releases, and isn't ideal as takes up a too much screen space, especially as video names are visible at defaul (no zoom) level.   Premiere 24.5.0 BETA (Build 41)Mac OS Sonoma 14.4.1MacBook Pro 16 M1 Max, 64GB Ram. 

Out of sync indicators are not showing up in the Beta:  Not much else to report, they should just be there and they are not. 

I am using:   Adobe Premiere Pro24.5.0 Build 57 or Adobe Premiere Pro(Beta)24.6.0 BETA (Build 47)   Windows 11 Pro Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-14900K 3.20 GHz 64,0 GB 64-Bit-System   I usually import takes in mts format and it usually works well. Since some time each take only has half of its sound (not in level).The picture "Complete timeline.png" shows, that all takes have a problem but one (read later about that). Picture "Same Take in different formats.png" shows the same take in different formats. One in mts one in mp4 format. Mts misses have of the sound. I have no idea  how to stop that. If I try to add a Mister Horse transition, I get an error every time in the recent Beta builds. If I load the exact same project in the public release version (24.5.0 Build 57) it works perfectly.

After creating a project on Beta version, how can I save it to work on normal Pro version?

I haven't been able to use the beta since about Wednesday as it seems to instantly crash when I get to the project window. I've done the typical troubleshooting tips such as resetting preferences, trashing media cache, resetting plugin cache and more. I'm also apart of the Odyssey group which sometimes means that I get access to features that are still under NDA. I can't tell if one of the NDA features are causing the issues or something I'm overlooking. My specs are below: 2020 iMac 5K 64 GB of RAM 8 GB AMD Radeon Pro 5500 XT 3.8 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i7 Mac OS Sonoma 14.5   Let me know if you have any questions or info you may need on my end.

This thing has always been sitting there since the appearance of the smooth scroll and making it unusable to this date still. Each time Premiere Pro says something about updating the preformance of redrawing its UI I check this function an it always remains blinking like it's some elecricity  circuit in the water...Could you please fix that? PleaseAnd the hotkey for on / off this option would be also a nice thing to have instead of navigating each time the timeline preferences...

So I have a bin full of MOV files showning in a window where the clip thumbnails are 4-wide and I have to scroll to get to the bottom. If I add some music clips to the bin (drag/drop from Explorer window) these go to the top, but the bin scrolls to the bottom.  So far, no problem, bin is set to sort by label. So I scroll up to get to the top, and it won't go!  It'll scroll up but when I let go of the mouse wheel, it scrolls back down. If I use the elevator bar, it does the same.  I can't select anything but what's at the bottom. If f resize the bin so all the clips show, I can get to them. And if I then shrink the bin back down to 4-up, it works.   It's an odd annoyance I've never seen before. System info    Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v24.6.0.45    OS: Windows v10.0.22631, RAM: 63.83 GB GB, CPUs (logical): 16

I have tried this in the current and beta versions of Premiere, and both give me strange issues.I sent out a 1.5 hour long edit to proofreading for adjustment.  I copied the corrections into a text document and tried to Text > Import > Import Corrected Transcript (TXT) and I get horrible results.I have the original TXT file so I tried to import that - also horrible results.first half has the time code and speaker name but <Type your caption here>  until about 00:43:50:00 when it starts filling in the captions from the beginning but with the wrong speaker,  The text is off, and towarrds the end it just puts all of the rest of the text under the last timecode.Same results in both versions.  Using both the original exported text file and the corrected file.The Text corrections took the proofreader over a day to review - to stat again and work in SRT format would be costly - am i missing something? 

Esseitial sound is the but essentail graphics is gone?

ich habe seit wochen das problem dass wenn ich in premiere beta das scrollrad benutze meine eingefügten video und audiodateien auf der spur nicht zu sehen sind. erst wenn ich das scrollrad ein weiteres mal betätige ist die spur wieder zu sehen. wie eine art ein und ausblendung. das ist wahnsinnig störend.
