Premiere Elements

Hi, I'm finally using my Premiere Elements 2018 to edit some gameplay videos, and I've added some subtitles to a clip. However, after rendering, some of these subtitles swap with, or even replace, others and end up in all sorts of different positions across the clip. Has anyone had this issue before/know how to resolve this? Kind Regards, Eddie

Hi,Is there any quick tool to convert vertical iphone videos to horizontal videos by filling the black side bars with a blurred zoom-ed in sample of the movie, in the 'quick' mode of Premiere Elements?I know that you can do this manuallyby using the 'Expert' mode, running two copies of each movie on parallel tracks and zooming in/blurring the second track but this seems very long winded when you have multiple clips to edit (d'oh - rookie error for years in filming iphone clips in portrait orientation!) I just wondered if there was a tool where I could just push one button on the movie and it would convert it, ideally staying in the 'quick' mode as I'm a newbie?

I have Premier Elements 12, recently upgraded to newer phone, (third phone and second camera since Elements purchase). All other device upgrades worked fine. Elements 12 will only upload the audio part of video with only a black screen from this newly recent device's video. Tried the free trial 2021 version with this device's video and it uploads video along with its audio just fine, so it's not a device problem.Need help in figuring out what's up with Elements 12.  It's still a useful program for my needs, don't really want to upgrade to 2021 just yet.  Anyone? Help.

missing MSVCP120.dlltried EVERYTHING including installing uninstalling reinstalling uninstalling reinstalling ALL of the C++ runtime things on microsoft server. I would like to do some video edits for my youtubes and have a paid for disk of Adobe premiere elements 15. Ever since I upgraded to windows 10 it will not run saying i have a missing dll file. I worked for days trying everything. Uninstalling and reinstalling many time, uninstalling and reinstalling the c++ runtime things for multilpe years. I doanloaded hitfilm express but that will not run either! Finally totally frustrated i installed a whole new drive and put Windows 7 back on it. Preiemer still will not run and now windows will not allow me to update, so i upgraded to windows 10 again and guess what? ya same missing dll files for both preiere and hitfilm. i am ready to smash this thing and buy a whole new computer. i gave up video editing for a tyear because of this problem.

Trying to see if there are options to speed up the export while maintaing my source video's quality.At present, I am recording a live stream output in OBS Studio. That recording is then cut/edited in Premiere Elements for broadcast on a local public access channel. The editing is limited to cutting a larger 1 hour, 30 minute MP4 file down to the 30 minutes required by the format and adding overlays. Currently, exporting the 1080p video takes about the 20 to 30 minutes (same as the runtime) but trying to see if there are ways to speed that up in the export settings.Is there an option in the export profile to the affect of "Match source video file properties"? Thinking along the lines of trying to reduce the re-encoding for potions of the video file that are otherwise not modified.

Win 10iTunes InstalledAPE 2019 I am loading three mp4 files to a project. All created in te same place, iPad camera.The third one gives me this error messageThid type of file is not suported or required Codec is not installed.Nothing has changed. How do I correct this? Thank you Cheers! Phil

Where the Elements licence covers 2 devices, can 1 of them be used on a PC and other on a mac? If I download for PC can I use same licence key when I download for the mac?

I don't exactly know what the problem is. It looks like its limited to the project I'm working in, but I want to understand this better as it could possibly result from the files I'm working with. Basically whenever I load this project I can't play back my preview. Here's a list of things that are happening to elaborate on the problem: When I press play almost usually nothing happens. The preview image remains stuck on what it was last on when I loaded the project. Occasionally I've gotten audio to playback either while scrubbing or after pressing play, but for the most part nothing usually happens.If I minimize the window and come back to it the preview image (which is stuck on what it was the last time I save the project) completely disappears and only the gray background remains.I've tried rendering my timeline. When I do so, the program will play through the video sequence but only the audio plays while it does this. At some random point it'll stop, and I'll have the problems

Ik heb in deze corona tijd adobe premiere elements 2020 gebruikt voor het digitaliseren van al mijn films vanaf de jaren 60. Zo lang ik me beperk tot de mp4 modus werkt alles redelijk. Niet meer dan dat want handig vind ik de software beslist niet. Dat i.t.t. pinnacle Studio dat ik eerder gebruikte. In de tijd dat ik dat gebruikte hoorde ik altijd dat dat idioot, was want adobe premiere was het helemaal. Dat kan ik dus niet bevestigen. De oudere films capture ik eerst buiten adobe om tot avi bestanden. Ook mijn smalfilms zijn eerst omgezet tot avi met zelfs een betere kwaliteit dan video8. Al die avi's heb ik ik met adobe premiere verwerkt tot mp4 bestanden in 720x576 met een bitrate van 6 of 10mbs, welke perfect afspelen vanaf een NAS op mijn LG TV. Dat ziet er goed en zeer bruikbaar uit en die methode heb ik gevolgd voor video8, hi8 en digital8 recorder files. Dus alle bandjes. Nu is mijn laatste camera aan de beurt en daar verwachtte ik erg veel van. Immers, dat is nieuwere techniek

Trying to edit some video recorded by a Wyze security cam.  The video audio plays well on VLC and potplayer but when edited on Premiere Elements the exported video does not contain audioCan anyone venture a guess what the problem might be that is causing this?

On Premiere Elements is there an audio limiter, so that you can prevent audio from peaking too high across your whole project, without having to lower the overall audio levels for individual segments, which you might not want to do anyway?Thanks, Kate

Hi, please can anyone tell me how to fine tune my timeline in Premiere Elements? My project already has many different tracks of video and sound layered, I want to make adjustmets without disturbing all the other edits that I have created.  Do you know if this is possible in Elements? I have searched through numerous tutorials, but have only found out how to move the entire block of edited tracks to the right, for adding material at the start, but not how to split the block and move sections of it without dislodging the layers.Any advice will be appreciated.Thanks, Kate

This seems really dumb, but I can't figure out how to change the size of a text (title) box. When I create one, it is quite small. Clicking on the edges of it does not enable me to drag the boundaries out, as I would expect. I must be missing something basic...

Strange behavior.  I'm unable to play mp4 files exported from premiere elements 2020 in my Microsoft OneDrive app on my phone and my tablet.  Other mp4 files that came directly from my phone or another person's phone/camera play no problem in the OneDrive mobile app.  But mp4 files from premiere only display a thumbnail of the video with no play button.  I took an mp4 file directly from my phone and uploaded it to OneDrive.  When I view it in the OneDrive app on my phone, there is a play button and the video plays no problem.  I pulled that same file into premiere, chopped off a few seconds from the beginning, exported it as mp4 same resolution.  Put that file on OneDrive and when I pull it up in the mobile app on phone or tablet, it only shows a thumbnail and no play button. This happens with other projects exported from premiere.  Any idea what could be going on?  I hit a lot of dead ends with Microsoft support.  Any help would b

Windows 7 sp1 64bit. My hard drive crashed. I re-installed PE 13 on a new Win 7 system and updated to13.1. I have too many very expensive Windows 7 specific apps to migrate to Windows 10 and a new version of Elements. I MUST use Windows 7. It is the PE 13.1 Video Editor that I use. I have contacted Adobe support via chat several times and they do not comprehend my problem and cannot solve it. I have used PE 13.1 for several years and it runs fine on Windows 7. The problem is PE 13.1 cannot connect to the internet so I can deactivate/activate my PE 13.1 app. As soon as I click on "Video Editor" and "New Project" I get an Adobe sign on screen. "Sign In Now" When I click on "Sign In Now" at the bottom, I get a message saying that I may not be connected to the internet and that's as far as it goes. It says "Please connect to the Internet and retry". I have exhausted the Adobe customer support avenue. They just keep insisting that PE 13.1 is not compatible with Windows 7. That is categorica

Is it possible to do narration with two headsets at the same time? I would prefer to have separate naration tracks, but would settle for just one.

I am running Adobe Premiere Elements 2020, v18.0 on a Mac running OS Catalina. The Movie Menu option/tool is missing In Expert Mode, Tools, Video.What can be done to get the Movie Menu Tool back into the Video Tools dropdown??

I have my copy of Premiere Elements 14 registered, but cannot find the disc for it, and see no way to download a copy of it with it being registered.  Is there any way of downloading and installing older versions without the disc if you have yours registered? Thanks.

Hello, Sorry if this has been asked and answered previously but I cannot find the answer. I am not a power user.Could someone please comfirm that in Premiere Elements 11 when you added a caption or tag it would automatically write this info into the metadata (IPTC) and save to the actual .jpg file...and that now in Elements 2021 this must be done manually via the "Write metadata to file" Ctrl+W command?Either I missing something or they removed this capability somewhere betwen Version 11 and 2021. thanks in advance

I have Prem Elements 2020 running on an Alienware laptop with two drives: an SSD (drive C)mechanical drive (drive D) As drive D is larger, I keep the source files (eg AVIs) and the PRELs, all on D.  But I thought it would make sense to put all the TEMP files on drive C as it's an SSD and therefore fast for the temporary files, but I'd leave the larger (but slower) mechanical drive D to store the source files (eg AVIs etc), the PRELs and finally the mp4 output files.  A good plan  Or so I thought....... I researched and found the FAQ https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/premiere-elements/using/scratch-disks.html about scratch disks, which says: "If (your PC) has more than one (drive), choose large, secondary hard drives for scratch disks and not the main load drive. In Premiere Elements, you can place each type of scratch file onto its own disk".   Quite clear it appears? Cool .. so that's a plan then?  Err, NO ... it doesn't work a

How do I pan and zoom in on a 4:3 clip but still keep to 4:3 and not having the final zoom fill16:9 wide screen?

Habe nach Absturz PSE2020 neu installiert, vorher Adobe komplett runtergemacht. Beim Starten von Editor kommt jetzt die Meldung:'Zum Starten der Testversion ist Adobe Application Manager erforderlich. Die Anwendung fehlt jedoch oder ist beschädigt. Laden Sie eine neue Kopie von AAM vom http://www.adobe.com/go/applicationmanager_de herunter' Unter dem Link kommt CreativeCloud und kein AAM.Organiser funktioniert normal, nur der Fotoeditor nicht.Habe testweise PSE2021 galaden, da funktioniert beides, nur PSE2020 spinnt. Was mache ich falsch?Windows 10 / 64bit.Danke an die Community!

I have spent DAYS trying to simply burn my completed video to a DVD. I have tried the following to make sure it was not the software. Tested:Small video about 10 mins, and it burned properly. The video I am trying to burn is about 50min long.  I have a surface proUsing a LG DVD WriterUsing DVD+R DVDs Any help is appreciated at this point, as I have an older customer who needs the DVD instead of USB.  Thank you
