Premiere Elements

I'm unable to duplicate "Titles" in Premiere Elements 2021.  I see Copy, but paste doesn't seem to work.  Is this a bug? Is there any way to duplicate a title in PE 2021 or at least save a title as a template?

Hi! So I've shot some standard video with my dslr in 23.98 fps and when I draw in the media to my timeline (a fresh timeline ) it plays it back in about double the speed. The audio quality gets so poor I can't timestretch it back and I dont believe I should be doing that for a standard clip. I'm a newbie at the program but this just seems stupid... Video format is MP4. Thankful for any help!/Oscar

I'm having a recurring issue in which I add motion keyframes to a video or image layer, and it works fine upon creation.  But then I go back to work on other parts of the project and eventually return, the keyframes are "undone" - some of them just aren't there - so the animation/motion is lost. In this example screenshot, the lower clip "MuseScore Mine Motif 1" has the desired motion keyframes.  The image "Endless Mine Microthumbnail" previously had the same type of motion, but you can see, the first "starting point" keyframe is missing, so the animation/motion is lost.  This problem has ocurred multiple times recently - does anyone know what the source of the issue is, or how to fix it? I have created several projects in the past using this type of animation/motion keyframes system and never had this issue, but lately it's been occurring frequently. 

I am a Lightroom user and have multiple catalogues for my photos but want my Elements Organiser to fins and to import just Video Files sitting on my Hard Drives for use in Premiere Elements.Unfortunately, the Import functions do not differentiate between video files and other media, photos, etc., so this is proving difficult.Anyone any ideas?Perhaps Adobe could design the Organiser import functions to be more discriminating?

I'm getting an error when I try to import iPhone 12 Pro video (hdr Dolby Vision) files into Premiere Elements 2020.  I have the HEVC Video Extensions from Device Manufacturer installed (by Microsoft).  

I upgraded my Mac OS to version 11 a few weeks ago. I was almost done editing a travel movie that contained lots of .mov files from iPhones and cameras. When I opened the project it asked the location of the .mov files. I was suprised because I had not moved them, but I selected the location and the selector showed the first frame of the video I had selected. Then the program immediately asked me for the location of the file I had just input.  The still files that are part of the video are found with no problem. It is only the .mov files that are not recognized. I tried deleting them and re-adding them - and even tried to start a new project. No .mov files are recognized. These same files are recognized in other video editing programs and players, so the files are not corrupt. They were read just fine until I did the Mac OS upgrade.  At the time of the error, I contacted support and they said a software patch was coming. That was weeks ago, and I'm starting to think

I'm using Premiere Elements 2020. I am pretty sure my internal webcam camera settings are fine. When I go to capture a live video, all I see is a black screen in the Capture panel. The actual video itself comes out fine, I just can't see it when it'se being recorded. Should I use an external webcam, or is there some obvious solution I have not stumbled over yet?In the top left, it says "No Device Control." ...I've gone through and messed with my webcam settings a few times, and nothing's changed.What's the deal? What am I doing wrong?

Hello, I have a problem. After I installed Adobie Premiere Elements I have to register serial no which I received from the e-shop. After I fill the number and try to activate I can see the problem "please connect with the Internet and try again".  Anyone could help me? 

Just curious if anyone else has had issues where the "Export & Share" just coninues on for non-stop, as time increases.And the preview during edit crashes/freezes, forcing you to "Task Manager" close the program.

I'm using Premier Elements 2020 and would like to add downloaded music to a video I now have on my computer.  Can this be done.  If so, how do I do this.

I'm looking to separate multiple audio tracks in a video. I have a recording of video + 3 tracks, desktop audio + mic, mic only, desktop audio only. I have a way of placing the audio into audacity and separating out the multitrack into individual ones but I'm looking to cut out the middle man and have it done directly within premiere. If this can't be done in premiere are there other video editing software tools that can do this?Another inquiry i have for right now is setting preferences for my effects and tools. For example if im adding a text overlay on a video I'd like to be able to set my own default text settings like font and size. Again if I can't do this in PE15 where can I do it.I got into video editing software without really knowing a whole lot about my options and their capabilities so I'm basically still new at all of this.

I'm still new to video editing and need some help. I'm trying to save a video podcast (mp4 of audio clip, jpeg thumbnail as "video") and when I export, it's stuck in "Rendering Media" and not saving. Please help! 

Hello!I have an odd problem with PRE.I have to copy some old holiday videos from VHS to my PC with Honestech VHS to DVD.The VHS was 4 x 3 mode. The video captures as 720 x 576 Mpeg.This one particular tape I have copied seems fine I have edited it into three parts.Each part is 720 x 576 and when played fills the screen as it should.However, when I joined them all together the picture is letterbox size.I have tried sharing as Pal DVD standard or Pal DVD widescreen with the same result.Can anyone help, please?

Hello,can I export video with transparency background from Adobe Premiere Elements ?If I can what format should it have and how I remove / clear the background color ?

I am unable to import some new clips. Nothing has recently changed to my knowledge. I have attached the properties of one clip. The camera was set to MP4 2160-25.00p/HEVC LongGOP 72M. I have tried different project settings in PE but they all give the error  "This type of file is not supported, or the required codec is not installed."The file plays OK on an i7 PC although the CPU is running at 100% whereas 4K files normally run at around 40%. May be a red herring.Just to confuse the issue further, if I run the clips through Handbrake, with no change of format, PE then accepts them BUT the new filesize has dropped from the original 118Mb to 20Mb. Not sure what Handbrake has done to it as the framesize is the same but the bitrate has also dropped from 69423kbps to 12309 kbps.Possibly 2 separate issues but could be related. I'm struggling with this one.

Let me mention that up until now I had been using Widows Movie Maker and that software had a feature that automatically adjusted the display time of each slide so a slideshow would begin and end with the chosen music track. It was done with a simple click of a button. Unfortunately I upgraded to a new computer and the program I used does not come iwth Windows 10 (&^#*$#). So I have purchased premiere elements thinking there would be a similar option in the program. I have 50 slides that display for 3 minutes (in total) and a song I want to sync that is only 2:30 minutes. I would hope there is a simple command to adjust the display time of each slide to an amount so that they song and the slide show are the same length. Can someone help me here? I have seen a lot of discussions and videos on syncing time between songs and video but not with a slideshow.  Please don't tell me I have to go in and adjust the display time of every one of my slides manually. Hello!This might seem a silly question.I have been transferring some holiday videos from VHS to my pc.I use a USB 2.0 device and Honestech VHS to DVD software.Some videos come out the full screen and some letterbox, even though I have created the video in PRE9 with the same settings. Any ideas why this is happening, please?Cheers

New to video, but long time user of photoshop. In photoshop, you open an existing PSD file (PSD1) make any change you want and save as a new PSD file (PSD2). These two files (1 and 2) are totally diferent projects. You open 1 and you see 1, open 2 and you see 2. I thought Premiere Elements works the same way, but at least for me it doesn't. I open an existing project (PE1, make changes to it, and save as a new project (PE2. In a diferent folder name, just to be sure. I can export the new project (MP4) and it looks correct. After I close the program and open the new project (PE2) in Premiere Elements, however, I don't see the new project but the original one (PE1), even though the name of the project is PE2. I must be missing something, otherwise what would be the purpose of "Save as"? Thanks for your help. 🙂

I'd like to be able to export in 9x16, portrait, format.  Application is using a smart phone video taken in portrait with a green screen background, using FX on the background, and then exporting while maintaining the same format. Edit/Project Settings/General has a selection for Frame Size horizonal and vertical.  Mine are not grayed out, but I can't change them.  (Is it because of the note next to the OK button that says "Mercury Playback Engine Software Only"?  I've been posting in another thread about my video card, it's way too lame for video editing work, have ordered a new card, it's on its way) I've also tried Export/Custom/Advanced Settings, changing the width and height in Video/Basic Video Settings.  This exports to portrait format like I want, but shrinks original video down.  See pix of original, unedited smart phone video and pix of export output preview. How do I correct all this?

I'm new to Premiere Elements, though not to video editing in general. Is there a way to get rid of that blue-green ribbon that you sometimes get on old VHS tapes? (I've imported something using a VHS to PC converter, through PE.)And also, to fix the bad tracking that may not be fixable by the adjustment on my VHS recorder?If there are any posts/articles/instructions somewhere, I'd appreciate a link. I'm coming up blank, but it may just be that I don't know what terminology to use to find it.Thanks! 

I am currently using the Trial edition of Premiere Elements 2021 on a Dell G3 laptop with 16 GB RAM, SSD drive, Windows 10, etc.  The program generally runs quickly, but I am seeing a sync issue with some recordings from our online church service.Several MP4 files play well inside and outside Elements, but a couple are out of sync between audio and video by quite a bit.  Strangely, those same 2-3 minute clips play fine in Windows Media Player, Power Director 15, or Windows Photos app.Any sugestions?

What is the least expensive video card for an HP Envy 700 series desktop computer that supports GPU acceleration in PE 2021?  I saw the list of compatible cards, but thought some cheapskate like me might have done the research already.

Two issues: 1) I am evaluating Premiere Elements 2021 and just received a new Dell external DW316 DVD burner. When I try to use Elements 2021 Export & Share to burn a video DVD, it says, "No burners detected." 2) I created an ISO image from my own video recordings (no commercial content) and burned it to DVD using WinX DVD Author. When I put the DVD in one Sony DVD player connected to my TV, it says "Playback Prohibited by Area Limitations." I don't see any settings to solve either issue.I am using a new DELL G3 15 3500 laptop with 16 GB memory and a new Dell External DW316 DVD writer.
