Premiere Elements

Premiere's audio creation and editing functions has several nice features, but the following things make audio editing  aggravating. Having to turn the system speakers off then back on every time you create a narration is a real pain.  Particularly since a previous application I used didn't require this causing me to forget often.When I delete part of a sound clip I have to manually abut the right-hand piece to the remaining piece. Seems like it should close the gap as part of deletion. Is there a way to concatenate/join adjacent audio clips so they can be moved as one? If not, there should be. Another question. Is it possible to set the default audio gain so I don't have to change it for every clip?

Is there a possibility in the export settings:1. Set VBR or CBR in audio settings2. Perform direct streaming copy audio without transcoding

Hi,Wanted to ask here.....can you do custome effects in premiere elements(PE).I used an Text effect in PowerDirector wherein a small text bar flies in from bottom left of the sceen. You can write text on it but the bar itself has a background(not the ecreen but the bar itself)  which has some leaves or maybe petals flying. I know in  PE you have a text effect where in a bar of text flies in from bottom left but can you add animation to the background of the bar itself. Thank you for your help in advance. Thanks

P.E14を使っています。動画編集をすべて終わらせてレンダリングをかけようとレンダリングボタンをクリックしたところ、ウンともスンともレンダリングが始まらない。旧PC(Windows7)では問題なくレンダリングは機能していたのですが、去年新PC(Windows10)に替えてから、はじめてのP.E14使用なので新PCとの相性に何か不備があるのでしょうか。お分かりいただけましたらご教示お願い致します。   　　　アドビ123 

More specifically I move my finished and published video folders to a storage drive on the same PC.When I go to open it from that location the project loads but not the assets. All the assets are in the same folder.If I move it back to the production folder it all works.What do I need to do to fix this so the project will open completely from the storage drive? 

Hello I have a problem, I recently bought the software but when I start installing the program freezes at 6%... I tried to look for a solution but I can't find anything that helps! I have a MacBook from 2011 with 4 GB RAM and our Intel core I5 processor! I have a SS D Drive installed with enough space. I was really looking forward to use the program but unfortunately I can't do anything with it!! it is really frustrating so I hope anyone can help me! gr kevin

I have 5 clips placed on separate tracks above each other in the workspace in Premiere Elements 2020. I can select or highlight one of the clips in the workspace but when I click on the image in the viewer above, a different clip becomes highlighted in both the workspace and the viewer (i.e., the 4 boxes appear on the corner of tge clip in the viewer).  Apparently this is the clip that is "on top" in the viewer but not the one I want to work with.  The clip I originally selected to work with below loses focus (i.e., is no longer highlighted). How can I make sure that the clip I highlight in the workspace below will be the one I work with in the viewer?  In my case I want to manually move the image in the viewer, something that is easy to do if I could only select it.   How can you select in the workspace the clip that will be active in the viewer?

Community,I am seeking recommendations on options for a dad who wants to create a tribute video for my daughter’s 16th birthday in July. Friends and family will be invited to send short video salutations and well wishes to be compiled along with digital photographs and art as the raw material. I am interested a “cartoonising” effect for the video clips. I have iMovie, iPhoto and Adobe Elements on my 2008 iMac running OS 10.11.6. I have some “home movie” editing experience, but not much facility with higher end programs like After Effects. I am open to production services as well. I invite your suggestions.

Is there a way to do object removal in a video with PE 20 similar to how you can do it in PSE 20?

I spent a day prepping pictures for a video.  After loading them into Premiere Elements I'm about to conclude all that effort was for naught.  Either this is a user unfriendly program or I simply don't know how to use it.  After loading  my ~30 still images I've encountered the following issues.  Struggling with these issues when essentially all of the pictures have to be reorganized/moved at least once and maybe multiple times makes this job impractical. The pictures on the Timeline are so tiny I can't see them well enough to tell what they are. When I move a picture it leaves a blank space where it was.  I can delete them but after every move?  If I leave them they begin to accumulate with picture moves. Sometimes pictures expand their clip such that there are two versions of the same picture making it more difficult to see where to place another picture near it.When I add a new picture sometimes it renames it to the same name as anot

My Premier Elements 2020 on Macbook Pro does not seem to recognize my Apple superdrive, so I can only create MP4 and MPEG files but not .iso or write directly to teh superdrive.  Any solutions?

I have narrated an audio piece into my video, and if I click on the audio clip it plays no problem but when I go to play the video there is no voice audio????I've checked the audio hardware and its fine hence the reason I can hear the audio when I click on the indivdual audio clip.

youtubeで動画投稿を行っているものです。エキスパートで編集を行っているのですが、メディア追加というボタンを押すと、フリーズしてしまうことがあります。前まではそういったことはなかったのですが、昨日から調子が悪くなってきました。フリーズしてしまうとソフトを閉じれなくなるため、再起動をしてどうにか戻しています。それでも無理な時は強制シャットダウンしております。フリーズになってしまう原因さえしることができればとても助かります。

手持ちのＰＣ（レノボ）では、ディスクの書き出しができません。保存先が「使用できるレコーダーがありません」と表示され、書き出しボタンがグレーになっています。調べると「互換性のあるレコーダー」でないと書き込みできないらしいので、外付けのレコーダーを購入しようかと考えています。どれが「互換性のあるレコーダー」なのか、何を購入すればよいかわかりません。ご教授いただけたら幸いです。 

Trting to edit 4k in PE. Download files from high speed SD card to PE Organizer. Import to PE at max bit rate. Video play back is smooth but quality is not even close to 4k. Tried exporting in 4k but finial export looked the same. What am I doing wrong? This is the trial version. Video shot with Autel Evo drone at 4K 30fps.

Hello I have a brand new premiere all paid for and down loaded into my computer.  It runs well but then won't always re-open after I've turned my computer off and on.  I have to do a new setup and it may start again.  I have re-downloaded it several times and tried everything to make it open.  Adobe website shows I own it.  Note: I also own Photoshop Elements and Lightroom and have no problem with them.  This is very frustrating.  Any advice please?.   

I understand that Premiere Elements 2020 does *not* support firewire interface any longer.I had wanted to use my old Sony HDR-HC5 (1080i) as a live camera to capture to Elements.  (I used to be able to do this with Elements 7)I wanted to avoid using USB/Webcams because of the audio/video out of sync issues caused by Variable Frame Rate issues that those cameras can create.I understand that Elements 2020 can "fix" the VFR problems ... but ..Can anyone recommend a camera to be used with Elements for a live capture?(I suppose it *has* to be USB interface .. )Thanks!  🙂

Premiere Elements2020で、mp4でクイック書き出しするときに98%ほどでいつもエラーが出て失敗します。画質を下げてファイル容量を低くしても同じです。最初はこのようなことがなかったのですが、ここ数日で他のファイルでも同様に失敗するようになりました。

My Organizer elements keep on crashing, should i reinstall it, if i need to, do i need to sign out first before uninstalling it? if i do, how do i sign out?I thought elements is a basic and simplified version, its still the same, so buggy. 1 week of tinkering lost. So disappointing........

Hi,I am having a recurrent problem with audio, When I put a clip on a track and mute the track after I move it and the sound is gone, even if moved to unmuted tracks. Also, I export the whole project in 1 piece and even when the clip sound works in other programs it doesn't when I try to use that piece as one in another project. Does this make any sense?Any help, please? 

In previous versions of Photoshop and Premier Elements, you could turn off the home screen in the preferences menu.  In the 2020 version, I cannot find the option.  The page takes forever to load the program and sometimes doesn't at all.  Any one know how to turn it off in the 2020 versions of the programs? 

Hello,Has anyone found a way to permanently disable Elements Auto Creations? I've disabled it in Organizer, yet every time I launch Premiere Elements Video Editor, it starts up, and immediately begins hogging huge amounts of memory - 30+ GB of RAM after a few minutes. Clearly, a very buggy program. I'm about to rename or delete the executable, but was hoping there was a more efficient way. Thoughts?

I admit I m a beginner. Just trying to understand and learn basics  of Adobe Premiere Elements.I ve got foll issue: when adding a video file during editing process speed of frames and also sound seems to be highly accelerated compared that of original video file. Speech is overly speedup so do sounds. I admit it must be a kind a setting issue since - orig file is OK. I m trying to find out how to re set up, however I cannot find any way to do so. I couls also not find how to reset Premiere Elements settings to default.  Cannot proceed editiing on that way. Could anyone HELP me please how to make this work properly? Thanks a lot.

Hello, today Premiere Elements dont want to save my project with 60 fps. My files are all 4k60fps but dont work. How can i fix it? I like the program, its easy and i dont want to change.

I am experiencing a difficult to solve issue with regards to rendering/exporting edited video out of Adobe Premiere Elements 2020. Nearly every time I export there is a random portion of the video that renders with a flashing screen, scrambled images, color changes and I'm not sure what is going on. I've removed any added FX and transitions but I am still seeing the error. Any help is appreciated.
