I have the Photoshop Elements / Premiere Elements 13 (I do plan to upgrade). I want to remove this from my desktop machine and move it to my laptop.I have one customized output device for exporting my video, that I created for a digital photo frame I have ... So, how to I make a copy of those settings prior to uninstalling the program on the desktop, so that I can import it into the program after I install it on the laptop?
I have Premiere Elements 19, i7 Core. With no other programs running, render time for 3106 frames is 4 hours. Why so slow?
Every time I open my project, some MTS files must be conformed before I can start editing. So I wait until all the conforming is complete before doing anything else, but I'm gradually finding more and more video clips in my timeline with audio issues. Some video clips are silent, while other video clips play audio from an entirely different video clip in the timeline! I've read in other threads about how to possibly prevent the constant "conforming stuff," but still unsure how to do that. I wonder if it permanently damaged the audio.
Hi all - I've been importing GoPro video for the last couple years without an issue, but suddenly the .mp4s I'm trying to grab from my Hero 7 are only recognized as audio files after importing into Premiere? I've imported them both from the card itself, and from my hard drive through the add file method. I know there are some known bugs between GoPro and Premiere, however does anyone have a fix for this, or a good file converter suggestion?
Hello: I am using PRE version 9 on my windows 7. I have downloaded a video from Youtube that I edited originally in Movie Maker on a PC Windows 10. I have uploaded the video and I can hear the audio but can't see the video. I am able to open this video in both QuickTime and Windows Media Player. It is Mp4 format. I also tried a .wmv file from the PC sample video libary and the same thing happened: audio is ok but not video. I go into settings and am looking for W 1280 by H 720 and 29 FPS. There is HD, DV, and more. Not sure which to choose when starting a new project. The program isa bit buggy since I try to open from organizer and it crashes. Just wondering if there are some settings I am missing. I have attached an image of what I am seeing. In the video section, I am often seeing an image of another window I was previously viewing, in this case the support page from Adobe.Thanks. Warmly, Doug
I am posting as a last resort. I have spent two days googling, watching you tube videos, and reading user manuals. I finally called an 800 number and went through all the menus. They told me my wait was 6 minutes. I have been on hold now for 1 hour and 46 minutes!!! I went with Adobe because I thought there would be good support. What a mistake. I created an ok slideshow in Photoshop Elements and am supposed to be able to bring it in to Premiere Elements to enhance it. I purchased the two programs together. When I try to drag the slideshow from the Organizer into Premiere Elements, I get a red circle with a diagonal line and can't move the slideshow. Alternatively, I am supposed to be able to right-click the slideshow and select Edit in Premiere Elements, but I don't get that option. Finally, I am supposed to be able to import the slideshow into Premiere Elements by clicking on Add Media and selecting the organizer. When I do that, some but not all of my albums come up but the sli
Take a look at this: As you can see, I have selected one clip and there are 2 effects applied to it. I have multiple clips in my timeline, which have multiple effects like these. Can anyone suggest how I can remove them all together?
I'm working on a large, currently 2.5 hour project (still have some cutting-out to do). I have already done extensive editing that I would prefer not to have to redo. A few days ago, every time I opened the project, Elements needed to conform about twenty .MTS files -- they seemed to be the same ones every time. The conforming took about an hour to complete, so upon suggestion I cleaned out the media cache and media cache database. Now when I open the project, it seems that ALL the video clips are being conformed. This process never ends, and eventually my laptop freezes up and I have to force shut down. Today I tried deleting everything in the timeline except for the first ten minutes. The endless conforming process continued, but I was able to successfully export those first ten minutes. Perhaps I could edit in spite of the conforming going on? But it slows Elements down significantly and always ends in a crash... Any ideas what might be going on here?
I've been experimenting with the various transitions in the program, but they seem to all assume that the transition covers the entire screen at once. If you use Dip to White or Dip to Black, the entire screen will dip to white or black, rather than specifically the clips you are transitioning between. If you use the Wipe effects, it will mostly work as intended for smaller clips, but it will assume the total wipe covers the entire project, so the actual time of the wipe will be much smaller than anticipated. If you use the Slide effects, the small clip will usually traverse the entire screen while it is sliding. Etc. I understand the reason this is the way it is, but is there any way to localise the transitions? Make it so I can have a small clip in the corner of the project that has its own transitions completely separate from the rest of the project? It's just not worth it to complete every single mini-project seperately.
I get an error message that states "The importer reported a generic error". That does not give me a clue for how to correct the error.I have imported m4a files before into the same project with no problems. Does anyone know how I can correct this?
Con Premiere Elements 2018 è possibile scegliere la miniatura che rappresenta un video? In internet ho trovato una modalità di post produzione video che utilizza VLC e Itunes. Si può fare meglio? Grazie, Gigi.
I am a premier neophyte trying to make a simple video slide show with some music and photos. I keep getting a generic error message when I try to import music from my library.
Gibt es ein Handbuch als pdf zum Download?
Hi all, I have video files from my DJI Phantom 4 pro that I have trimmed in Win10 photos and saved as an mp4. When playing the mp4 files there is no loss of detail until I import them into premier elements 2019 for editing. I have tried changing the project import settings but this has not worked. I still get shimmering and loss of detail. I am new to the world of video editing, which is one of the reasons I chose Elements over Premier Pro. I have had a good route around on the web and youtube, which pointed me to the project settings, but am now at a loss. I know PE doesn't support .mov H265 but as the files are saved as mp4's i thought there maybe a way around this. Any suggestions? Neil
Elements is telling me results will not be optimised as DV Camera settings are different to projet settings. How can I correct this? Elements can see the camera and does capture video.
What program has enough storage space to hold 2,000 cartoon drawings (that I made using Paint and Paint 3D), for a 30-minute YouTube animated cartoon, without continually jamming up? Adobe Premiere Elements 19 could not do it. Thanks.
I noticed that my Adobe Premiere Elements 19 doesn't even have the name of the product or manufacturer anywhere that's visible. I'm not surprised. I'd be embarassed to have my name on this also! If you can help me, please do it in here. I don't trust emails unless they come from Adobe.
I’ve tried about 6 times to upload my video to YouTube through Premiere. First of all the export button is greyed out, so if anyone knows why that is please tell me. I read that if the export button is unavailable you can just go to the “share” tab and select to upload to YouTube and use the YouTube preset. So typed in my title and description and each time it uploaded to 100%, but once it reached the end it came up with an error message that said “an error occurred while trying to upload video”. It doesn’t say what the error is. I talked to adobe tech support and they even helped me update my version of Premiere 10 hoping that would fix the problem (I have windows 7). But the same exact thing happened after trying to upload again after the update. Please help!
This is a review on one site, does this mean that the only support for h.265 is on Mac, not on my dear Windows? Both Premiere Elements 2019 and Premiere Elements 2019 add support for importing and editing of HEIF images taken with your iPhone (the .HEIC extension) and HEVC-encoded video (the H.265 codec) with macOS 10.13 and above.Regards,Kent
Hi I've tried importing Mov files from the memory card of my Zoom Q8 video recorder. The files won't play and when I try importing them again it says they already exists, after I have deleted them all in the cache and in the saved folder. This is the Gspot details.
Is there any way to change the project settings in an already existing project? If not is it possible to somehow reimport the already cut clips with all the work that invested in?Or need to start from the begining completely? It's been imported clips from multiple devices (camera+2 kind of phone) and it set the project settings to the phone which the final result is always worse. Another thing, should I convert all the clips to the same frame rate with handbreak before import?
Any advice would be appreciated. I'm using Adobe Premiere Elements 11, or rather, I'm trying to use it. There is an orange line at the top of the uppermost video track. I know I'm using up a lot of memory with hundreds of tiny drawings that are each less than a second in length, but still... All I'm trying to do is make a 30-minute animated cartoon. Are there some settings on my computer that I could adjust? Thanks.
