Premiere Elements

The system requirements for Premiere Elements 2018 indicate I need an Intel Core i7 for XAV-S.  I have an Intel I Core i3. Can I still install Premiere and not use the video for XAVC-S?  Thank you

HiI just did some drone footage with my GoPro Hero3+. The gopro left me 3 video clips from my 3 shoots. They where taken on the same day but at different times.When I insert 2 of them they work flawless with premiere elements 15. But the last one is useless in Premiere.I get black pixels and the playback from the timeline is terrible, even if I try to render the video. When I play the video from the Project Assest the media player pops up in premiere and lets me play it before I add it to the timeline. Everything runs smoothly there. I have tried to run it on VLC, windows mediaplayer and everything is good there. No laggy video or pixels there. I even installed Lightworks and there is no issues there with the video, no black pixels or lagg. If I add the rest of my videos to the same timeline/project in premiere, everything runs great except the footage I have problems with.I just post my hardware spec. I dont think this is the problem since I have never had any problems with my hardwar

I'm using Adobe Premiere Elements 14, and for some reason the videos I'm adding into my timeline are showing and exporting as black and white with some color splotches. Why and what can fix this? Th bitrate of the videos are 200mbps at 60 fps. That is the only thing that I can think of that would be causing it, but I can't understand why a high bitrate could possibly cause this kind of a problem. Any suggestions or fixes would be greatly appreciated!!

Most of the time when I go to insert a video between to other videos a black line with a black little triangle lets me know when I have the insert video lined up exactly to go between the two but many times over the years that gets turned off and I have to guess if it is lined up exactly.  How to I turn it back on to show.  Please helpTHANK FOR THE ANSWER..

Does Premier Elements 18 render and export HDR graded files?I just bought a new HDR capable camera, and I'd like to use it. But, I can't verify that Elements 18 will render files with the appropriate metadata or has the needed codecs.

I have Premier Elements and am making (or trying to make) a video, in MPEG format.  I have updated the latest and restarted the computer after the update  Its Win 7 64 bit OS.Any ideas?Thanks

When I used to create video in DVD mode and on DVD discs it was possible to divide a long video into smaller sections and create a menu based on these sections and give each one them a title. This enabled the user to select the section on the master menu they wanted to see and play it. The master menu could be designed for viewing in ways appropriate to the sections of videos and or the whole project and played as requested.   I would use this now except that my overall project may be too big for DVD etc. I can now use USB recording sticks for much bigger recordings both in size and technical quality and I think it would be useful to have a video menu which is more attractive and possibly practical than the usual contents menu used by the system.   Does Adobe Premier 15 provide such facilities and is it easy? 

Hi all,  Just started using adobe elements 2018 to edit my GoPro footage. After importing I can be halfway through editing and all of a sudden I will get the apple spinning pizza of death. the programme is unresponsive and eventually after waiting for a reasonable amount of time my only option is to force quit. This is obviously very annoying. anybody have any idea of steps I can take to prevent this? I am using a MacBook Pro 2017, with the latest version of high Sierra. I have already tried reinstalling elements. which worked for a short while and then I'm back to the same problem.Thanks

But premiere elements imports it as bottom: Parts (some colors?) of the video have become transparent.How to get rid of this?  I have this with some video's, and when it happens it is not always consistant. When I visit the website prompted and put in the redemption code it says that there is a link provided to downward but I have tried over an dover and do not see a link. What can I do to get the link to download the software

Hello everyone!I've been getting the full version of Premiere Elements since yesterday.I can insert videos and play them normally in the preview, without any problems, but as soon as I pre-render a video, it is completely pixeled in the preview, so I can't see anything, especially font.When you publish, however, it renders normally, it is difficult to edit like this(Background story: I already had the test version once, everything worked perfectly, now I reinstalled windows after a long time and bought the full version and unfortunately I have this error.I have already reinstalled Adobe Premiere several times.)I hope you can see the difference on the pictures, otherwise I'd like to upload more.I hope you have a great day, Lukas

I am trying to open videos from a DVD that I taped from TV. I am in the programs in the shows so I hope that does fall under the copy protected rule. The folders in the DVD are VIDEO_RM and VIDEO_TS The files in VIDEO_RM are VIDEO_RM.BUP, VIDEO_RM.DAT AND VIDEO_RM.IFOThe files in VIDEO-TS are VIDEO_TS.BUP, VIDEO_TS.IFO, VIDEO_TS.VOB,VTS_01_0.BUP, VTS_01_0.IFO, VTS_01_1.VOB, and VTS_01-2.VOB.I have no idea what any of this means.The error message I get says:An error occurred while importing files from this DVD. Such errors are usually caused when the DVD is copy protected. Premiere Elements does not support importing files from copy protected DVDs. Ensure that the DVD is notI am using Premiere Elements 2018 and am on a PC using Windows 10. Please help these are shows and documentary my dog and I are in and I want to have them on my computer for safe keeping. Thanks.

Hello,I use Elements 13 for multi camera editing - I know CC is ideal but I cant switch now.My question is to enable/disable an audio or video track my  current option on 13 is to right mouse click hit "enable".I saw a youtube video earlier re: Elements 18 where I thought the user toggles to the far left to do the same enable/disablefunction. Elements 13 uses those toggles for track style so I was wondering if version 18 has added thisimprovement - another way to enable/disable. If someone can confirm this feature I will probably upgrade.Thanks very much

How to I install a software i downloaded on a different computer when it’s saying that these serial number are already in use!

I recently recorded 1 1/2 hours of video at my daughter's dance school with the intention of producing a DVD for the other parents.When I downloaded the video from the camera it was split into 2 clips each 45 mins (this is how the camera software works and has never caused a problem).I created a project using the first clip and after editing I was left with a perfectly pleasing result, however when I then created another project using the second clip I found that when watching the children singing, the voice and video was slightly out of sync. I tried watching the clip on the laptop using 'Films and TV' and it was fine, I also tried creating a project using the same clips in my old Windows 7 laptop using Premiere Elements 11 and the issue was not present so I conclude that something in Premiere Elements 2018 is introducing the issue. I'd be very grateful for any suggestions as to how this could be resolved. (Please note that I have rendered the work area).I am using:Panasonic HC-V100 c

Adobe Premiere Elements 7. I have used it for several years. Now - when I uploaded it to a new computer and try to save in MPEG2 files, it says I must activate a code from a url link. Trying to go to this web page, there is no page at all, but onlye a server that is shut down. Does anyone know how one can make this work again? Contacting Adobe chat only gave 20 minutes and no answers at all.

Hi all,I just bought elements premiere 2018 (version 16.0) two weeks ago.It is installed of both my iMac and my Macbook pro) and both give me the same problem. All software /OS is up-to-date !Movie editing is OK most of the time !!  although once in a while it just hangs for some reason. (So I save a lot while processing). Now I started with adding (motion) titles into my movie and this really drives me crazy. It is absolutely not workable anymore. Hangs every few minutes and all I can do is kill the process and start over again. Any clues???ThanksCharles The Netherlands

I've just bought a Pavillion HP Laptop , with 16Gb Ram , Intel i7 8550U processor .I own Premiere 12 and 14 so downloaded versions of both from webpage and used my product key as I have no CD drive . (I've even downloaded a trial version of 2018 too ) .I've used both 12 and 14 on an older , slower PC with no issues now , I cannot export in any format without "unknown error" occurring .I'm guessing it is settings on y new laptop causing the problem ?

HiI've got a problem with video/audio sync, when importing them into Adobe Premier Elements 12.I'm no beginner but I have not that much experience with videoformates, containers or codecs, nor I have an exact understanding of variable framerates ect.Up to this moment, I've never had a problem when importing videos and cutting them.However when I am importing a new videoclip, the audio and video are not in sync. But its not just a delay or offset. The audio matches the video at the beginning but at the end of a 12min file, the audio is 2 seconds delayed although video and audio track end at the same time. Mannually changing playback speed of only the video track by guessing a fitting ratio helps, but is certainly not satisfying. In addition, displayed frame rate and video duration does not match the file details given by explorer. Adjusting frame rate manually by assuming footage settings does not solve the audio-video mismatch. I've also tried to load different project presets with no

I'm very new to this software and I'm banging my head against the wall.I'm trying to basically make a "highlight reel" from a longer video. I've gone through the video and cut the exact clips I want to use in the main project, but how do I get those clips into a new project? (I think what I'm trying to do is be able to have them as project assets, but I'm not sure.) Or is this a redundant step in the process? Should I just delete all but what I want and then arrange them in whatever order I want by dragging and dropping?Finally, should I be doing something else - besides cutting unique clips - like using a marker to create a scene? If so, I can go back and create scenes out the clips but I have no idea how to do that or if it makes sense to.I'm aware of a way to export clips using the area bar but the keyboard shortcuts don't work on a Mac so this process is entirely too cumbersome. There's simply got to be a better way considering the number of people using Mac's with this software.Th
