Today, Tuesday 5/22, there was a major Windows 10 update, and since then Elements is acting very strangely. Two significant issues: everything is in slow motion and there's no audio! And everything was working perfectly right before the update.Have there been any other reports of problems after this update?
Hi,How to make watermarks to my own video in Premiere Elements 11 edition program?Thank you for an answer!regardseija
I'm making a video using semi-professional techniques. However, there's a specific scene transition I'm looking for that requires a slight explanation. You know that "explode" transition that was used in a lot of TV shows (i.e., Jeopardy!, Nickelodeon GUTS, etc.) during the 90s?It's like this (watch the first 6 seconds to see the transition):Ed Asner, Teri Garr and Pat Sajak on Celebrity Jeopardy (Part 1/4) - 1993 - YouTube I need this transition for an upcoming video I'm working on that I need to post to YouTube in the coming days. Does anyone know what it's called, and if it is possible to use in Premiere Elements?
I have a video that plays as a 4:3 but you can see it's skewed and really should be 16:9. In VLC, in the options I'm able to change the aspect ratio to 16:9 and it looks right. How can I either edit the file to open properly in 16:9, or do I need to run it threw a video editor and export it properly? Can this be done in Premiere Elements?
PE18 has a 3d cube transition but no sphere?
I am new on elements, and i have a problem. When the film is to an end on the timeline (clips and soundtrack) it still runs for 96 sec afterwards in black, how do i delete this uninteresting end..:-)JR
I just tried to open a Premiere Elements 12 project I had been working on a few months ago and never finished. The Assets are MTS files extrapolated from an AVCHD file. I can find all of the files in Finder. They have not been removed. However, when I open my project, I get a totally meaningless window that comes up with a lot of unselectable project files, including the one I am trying to open, and four choices at the bottom that say "skip", "skip all", "offline", "offline all". No mention of any file names.I have no clue what I'm supposed to do. When I just "cancel", the project opens, but some - not all - of the clips have an "offline" message in the player window. Even though they are in the same folder as other clips that are found OK. Upon further examination I see in the Finder window that some of my file names have "check" in front of them. Did Premiere do that? I can click on them and they play, although the first few frames
I have had Adobe Premiere Elements 4 for sometime. I was trying to reinstall it for a project for my son. When I did so, I got a screen asking me to go to a now defunct web address where I was supposed to enter my MPEG2 Component Serial Number. Since this website is no longer functioning, how am I supposed to activate my product? I called Adobe but they said they no longer support the product and that I'd have to contact the forums for help. Thanks.
Hi!I tried cropping footage with the crop effect and it works when pressing play in Premiere but as soon as I try to render the footage, the crop effect dissapears and only color key works. If anyone has any idea how to fix this, please tell me.
Hi! I'm totally new here. But not new to Photoshop. Here is my dilemma: I am currently running PSE 14. But I need a video editing software. I have an old copy Bundle of PSE10 and PRE10. I tried installing my PRE10, but because the PSE 14 is so different, and because the 2 programs share the catalog, it isn't working. Is there a way to make it work? Is there an option to buy PRE14? Would you recommend buying the 2018 Bundle? Any way I could get a discount as an existing customer? Trying to make this work without breaking the budget. Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
I have created a slideshow with default music. I can select the music note with the plus mark to add additional music. But I can not figure how to remove music from the selection. My first attempt to copy music from the iTunes resulted in the music upload but Organizer said the m4a file is corrupt. I change the encoder but Organizer will not allow the new file because there is already a file with the same name.
Hallo! LG
Running Premiere Elements 15 on a Windows 10 computer. One of my clips had to be rotated a few degrees. Then I wanted to crop it so that the cropped area on the screen matched a first clip that I had cropped without rotation. For that first clip, there is an area in the frame with content that is surrounded by black. The issue is that for the rotated clip the crop controls are themselves rotated, so what I end up with is a rotated area with the corrected content surrounded by black, which doesn't match what I have for the first clip.Is there a way to rotate a clip and then do something such that if I crop afterward the crop controls are horizontal and vertical? I tried scaling after rotating but that didn't help. For example, in Photoshop if you rotate an image and then follow with a crop, the crop controls themselves are not rotated.
When I open Adobe Premiere Elements, everything seems fine at first. I put a clip in the timeline though, and thats where things get odd. Normally theres a bar at the bottom right of the screen that says a number between 1 and a 99 about how much of the audio is done loading, but now its not doing that. On top of that, whenever I hit the play button, nothing happens in the timeline. The video doesn't play, and I can't hear a thing. I can scrub through the timeline, again with no audio, and even edit it around a bit. Heck, I can even export it out. Though when I do that, the video that gets exported has a severe framerate issue, seeming to only being going at a few frames a second. Though that might be a problem with something on my end with my computer. Now if I don't do any of this fast enough, Premiere Elements wills top responding and force me to close and restart it. Anyone got any ideas on how to help me?
Elements 15 continues to crash, I just start to work in elements and the message comes up, elements has stopped working, this happens too often. I have windows 10 64 bit, 4gb ram.
Hello,I just caught a short 30 second clip of my son crawling for the first time with my Canon camera. I want to send the video to my Mom via email however the file is too big. Her computer does not play mp4, which is the only conversion option I found, and walking her through installing a compatible player is useless. So I would like to find out how to convert the mov file to avi or wmv, small enough to email. I just purchased Premiere Elements 10 and never used it. I could not figure out how to do it, so if anybody knows, that would be great. Thanks.

I am having a myriad of problems with audio tracks in Adobe Premiere Elements. This seems to stem from audio tracks 5 and above in the timeline being labeled as 5.1 Audio tracks. Any new audio tracks I attempt to make are also automatically set as 5.1 audio. The problem with this is that audio inserted in those tracks will never fully mute. All I want to do is fade in an audio clip in one of these tracks, but it starts at partial volume. I have tried everything, including dragging the ENTIRE yellow volume bar down to the bottom so that it displays it as "- infinity" decibels which SHOULD BE MUTED. I cannot for the life of me figure out what causes an audio clip that is muted still plays audio. Dragging this same clip down into one of the non-5.1 audio tracks DOES mute it so it's NOT the clip it's the TRACK causing this problem. This would not be a problem if I could just circumvent these tracks by creating new tracks that WEREN'T AUTOMATICALLY 5.1 tracks, but
APE 14I am trying to replacing the background Image on a program movie menu using Wedding Elegant with a jpg image (TBP Blue background061417.jpg 1,614 KB). I have done this for at least ten or more prior programs. Now I get an error message “Invalid Background Media File” What can I be doing wrong? Thanks.
In Premiere Elements 2018, is it possible to retain the original frame size when importing an exported title?Utimately I am trying to create a relatively simple effect with large oversized text scrolling across the frame horizontally. I thought I would be able to do this by creating a title with the text I want, at the font size I want, and then using keyframe animation to position the text outside the right side of the frame, and then scroll it across right to left. When I create a title in the current project (720 x 480 frame) and use a sufficiently large font size to get the text size I want, it seems that the text is cut off at the current frame size, so when I configure the animation I can only scroll in the text that was visible within the frame. Then I thought I would try creating a title in a separate project with a larger frame size (1920 x 1080), and then export that title and import it into the smaller frame project. When I did that, the imported title was converted to the cur
I have Premier Elements 12, which I bought years ago, but just recently started actually playing with. I have a video that is pretty faded and poor looking. When you frame by frame it, you can see that lots of the resolution has been lost, and the image has lots and lots of varied squares of uneven color and exposure. I realize I can't get resolution back. But I am hoping there is some way to to flatten out the exposure/colors so that its more like a frame, instead of a quilt. If this was just a photo, I'd be happy to play around with it and see what I can do on my own. But this is a 20 minute video. And I don't have the time/patience to go frame by frame and correct it.
I have a choir concert with 2 different Audio tracks that I want to make selectable on the DVD using the Audio button on the remote control. How can I create such a DVD?I have the 2 audio tracks imported in Premiere Elements.
I'm having serious issues with PE 2018 (actually on a friend's PC which I installed for him). Everything works fine until I add an mp3 (tried many different ones, longer, shorter). When I apply a couple of simple changes after that (i.e. cutting out a scene, changing volume, adding transition effect), PE freezes.Crash files are generated after each crash. They look like this (I only post first 20 or so lines, files are actually larger than 100 Kb):Process: PremiereElementsEditor.exe [11632]Path: C:\Program Files\Adobe Premiere\Adobe Premiere Elements 2018\PremiereElementsEditor.exeProduct Version: 16.0.0.0File Version: 16.0.0.0Code Type: &
Hi,I've been using elements 2018 for a few weeks now and made a couple of videos with it. From today on however, elements freezes all the time. No matter what I do, as soon as I try to preview a video, elements freezes. It even happens if I just add a simple mp3 musicfile or one of my previous videos made with elements 2018I can import videos, I can even edit them and export them but as soon as I click on play in the preview window... all gone
I've tried to import a few clips to work on in premiere, they're all from the same source and as soon as they are loaded in (I've tried many presets) they show as grainy like this:I'm using PE15.0 on Windows 10Source file is MP4 - 1920x1080 frame rate: 29.97Data rate: 14677kbpsBit rate: 14992kbpsCan't see how to tell the codec, sorry!Read and tried as many things as I can on here before I posted -The video looks fine un-edited in VLC and windows media film thing.I'm in the UK so I've tried both PAL and NTSC presets that I think match the aboveTried rendering the view window - have an orange line above the clip in timelineTried a lot of presets to export + share as I saw in some threads that it could be a preview issue - spoiler alert - it wasn'tCan anyone offer any suggestions? The video is a render from PP not a camera that I don't have access to to re-export.
