Premiere Elements

Updated windows 10, and now no sound on premiere elements editor. Still hear sound with any other sound program (napster, etc.) AND still hear sound on opening clip on Organizer.Have checked preferences>audio hardware a zillion times. Only shows appropriate speakers. I even switched to bluetooth speaker and won't work. Uninstalled premiere elements and reinstalled to no avail.help!(have seen other posts but they did not include all the attempts I describe above. one says fixed after sound card replaced... but with other programs on computer working, I hope I don't have to do that.thanks

So... after figuring out how to insert text (used wingdings to get an arrow because I couldn't find an arrow shape) and getting the color to change, I was able to create a red arrow pointing to something in the video.  I actually have two places in the video where I do this and when I view it in Premier Elements the arrow shows up in both places, but when I export to get a MP4 file, the second arrow doesn't show on the exported file.

Under Adjustments, I see four shapes-- Rectangle, Ellipse, Rounded Rectangle and Line.  Is there a way to get a "line" that's an arrow, not just a straight line?

​well. I just paid for a version elements 18 but it takes me back to elements 15..and refuse to pay me back.

Just bought Premiere Elements 2018.  Have used previous versions.  Finished editing.  Chose export and share for computer. Saved.  But there's no visual, only audio.What can I do?

I just downloaded a trial version of Premier Elements to see if I'd be able to do what I want before I purchase it.  And, I figured out how to get an arrow using wingding font, but for the life of me, I cannot figure out how to change the color.  I click on the color palette icon and select a different color, but it won't apply it to the text.  Either I'm doing something wrong or the software has an issue.

I want to draw on a 30 second video of a still photograph to explain components in it. Is that possible with Adobe Premier 13?

This is driving me absolutely insane. This just started happening after the 2018 release. I have never had this happen before. I'd drag a video, usually .mp4, edit a bit and boom I can export it. Playback was fine, never zoomed in.I don't know how much information you need for this, but it happens with DSLR, Hard Disk, HDV. Eventually I just started trying presets to see if it was certain ones. What preset should I be using for 1080p, 720p .mp4 videos like HD television shows and whatnot? I'd just like to drag and drop these videos, and not have it "zoom" when I play back while editing. ThanksHelp me Obi-Wan Adobe; you're my only hope.

I have finished a hour long video and now I am ready to burn to a DVD to be able to watch on TV.  I have burned several times and it will play fine on my computer after burning, but will not play on my DVD player.  I have tried several players and its not the players.  What am I doing wrong?I go to Export and share and hit disc.  A message pops up that states "some of the menus items are overlapping! Please move or resize them.  I just close that box, and moved on.  I don't know if that would affect the burn or not.  I click on SD 576, the largest resolution and click on disc, not IOS image and then burn.So, where am I going wrong?  It won't play on my player?  HELP!!!!![Here is the list of all Adobe forums... https://forums.adobe.com/welcome][Moved from Encore to Premiere Elements... Hi, I have a 90min family movie that I'm trying to export to Computer (SD 480), middle quality, and it's saying that it will take 70 hours to convert? Is this right or am I doing something wrong? The files were originally DVD files that I imported into Premier Essentials 18 for export to .MP4 so I can upload to YouTube. I'm exporting on a brand new laptop with the following specifications:7th Generation Intel® Core™ i7-7700HQ Quad Core ProcessorWindows 10 Home 64-bit English16GB, 2400MHz, DDR4; up to 32GB512GB PCIe Solid State DriveThank you.

When I load a video in Elements the AUDIO does not play, Why?

Is it possible to open a premiere pro project in elements? The pro file type is .prproj and elements is .prel. Thanks.

The F9 key on my laptop is the "Volume Down" key. Now all of a sudden it keeps creating "New Text" in Premiere 14. None of the Text functions under Edit \ Keyboard Customization have keyboard shortcuts assigned, so how do I change F9 back to controlling laptop volume?

I have a video that I want to put a specific moving overlay on. I have been able to identify what I want to track easily, but it only gives me the option to cover it with one of the adobe graphics. I have a specific transparent that I want to put over this portion that is being tracked, is there anyway to make that happen?

Aus irgend einem Grund, vermutlich nach Abstürzen durch ein parallel ladendes W10-Update fehlt mir jetzt der Ton. Die Tonspur ist korrekt vorhanden und zeigt alles an. Was muss ich tun, dass Audio wieder hörbar wird?

     I have been a consistent Elements upgrader since version 3.0, so I looked at the comparison between Premiere Elements version 15 & 2018, saw no reference to removing BluRay authoring, upgraded to 2018, and a month into a large video project found out that I could not create a BD disc from PrE 2018 nor could I open that project in my restored PrE-15 which does have BD publishing.     Equally bad, after converting my Organizer 15 catalog to Organizer 2018 and removing the version 15 catalog, I found that, since version 15 could not open or convert my 2018 catalog, I had to create a de novo version 15 catalog, thus losing all the image recognition, albums, stacks and version sets, and hidden flags.     This is very poor customer service!

I have rendered my video using quick render and I have a video with a property size of 5.8gbWhen I try to copy and paste this to a 32gb memory stick it says the video is too big. I get the same result when I try to transfer it to another hard drive with 360gb spare space.When I try to render it to a separate hard drive it goes all the way through before advising me that it has discovered a problem with the file structure and cannot complete the render.Any ideas.

I am using Premiere Elements 18, Windows 10. I have a 20 minute video I want to burn to a DVD and have a marker at 1 minute intervals on the DVD so users can forward the video one minute at a time. How do I do this?

I downloaded a trial version, to see if I liked it enough to purchase. I did edit and have a video ready to burn - so purchased Adobe Premiere 2018 and opened up my project - and he "trial version" is still on the video. I did enter serial number before installing, and it was accepted.  How do I get that trial notice to go away? I assume I don't have to redo it?????ThanksMartha

Greetings.  I am very new to Adobe Premiere Elements, and video editing in general.  I think what I am trying to do is fairly simple, but I can't seem to figure out what I am doing wrong.I have two clips - A and B.  The last few seconds of Clip A is garbage.  So what I want to do is:Clip the last few seconds of Clip A offPlay Clip B after Clip Ause a Cross Dissolve between the two.I "dragged" the end of Clip A to the left, to get rid of the last few second of junk, then placed Clip B immediately after Clip A.  Then I added a "Cross Dissolve" transition between the two, choosing "Between Clips" for 3 seconds.For the most part, this has worked, except that as Clip B is fading in, I can see the last few seconds of junk from Clip A that I thought I had cut out.How come these supposedly cut frames are appearing in the Cross Dissolve, and is it possible to get rid of them?Thanks in advance for help-M

Apparently if I waited 13 days to buy Premiere Elements 15, I would have a free upgrade to 18. But no. Adobe chat representative denied me and said it's "company policy". Thanks for making a new customer an angry one.

I would like to have an error pointing to a player I need to be highlighted in a soccer clip.  Anyone know how to do that?
