Premiere Elements

I got a new SSD and cloned my old C drive to it and it was working fine with Pre 14.But I want to move the catalog and files off the nearly full SSD to the other internal drive (old C: drive, wiped and now called E:) for storage, run the OS and program on the SSDI backed up following the backup/restore directions to an external drive and attempted to restore to the E: drive and the Catalog says it's the E: drive, but the Organizer is looking for the files in C: not the E: drive.  The rest of the file structure matches what is located on E: starting with the TestPRErestore folder that Pre created with the backup, BUT it's looking in the C: drive.  I've tried Optimizing but it just says it is optimized.  How do I get Pre to actually LOOK in the drive I've told it to?  I don't want to have to manually reconnect 4,000 files.  AND I have to turnaround and do the same for 20K images in PSE 13.

I am 3/4 of the way thru my project and my PE 12 is crashing and this seems to have happened after I did a Windows 10 update. I have Quick Time version 7.7.80.95 I have 6 GB of Ram 5.9 is usable. My hard drive is starting to fill, is has 596 GB of which 456 is used. Might that be the problem?I have 448 clips on my timeline with the highest clip  260kb, my music is all on the time line and I am adding my titles to each clip.  That is when it is crashing. I have done a "save" after every step of the way, is there anything else I might do to protect my project so if my computer fails I have can restore the project? I don't usually do a copy or an archive of my project until I am totally finished. Also I have an external drive that is backing up my project thus far.My total project is about 29,000 kb.Any insight and help would be great.  Thanks

Since Blu-ray support has been dropped from PrE2018, I have used PrE 15 to create menus and burn the Blu-ray discs.  My work flow is to use PrE 2018 for all video editing and export my movie to a MP4 files.  Then I use the MP4 files in PrE 15 to finish the job.  I works.  However, in doing so I’ve noticed that the audio on the MP4 (created by PrE 2018) does’t play in PR 15.  On the timeline, the audio portion is visible, and its all fine on the burned Blu-ray disc.  However, when playing the movie from PrE 15, the audio is always mute. Its annoying and strange..  I’m just curious why the difference.  Note that MP4 files created in PrE 15 play fine in both PrE 15 and PrE 2018.  Perhaps there’s a new standard for MP4 that’s not downward compatible with earlier level?

I need to add music to my elements 15 video and nothing works.  Not one mode will allow me to add the song "Revolution" by the Beatles no matter what the source is. I've tried my CD music, iTunes, Groove Music ... what else do I need to add this song?  Please help asap.  Thank you!

Using Adobe Premier Elements 12 w/Windows, after creating the movie I would like to retain only the files that are necessary in order to reduce the size and clutter of files.  Assuming the movie is finished and will not be further edited, is there any reason to retain the.xmps, .log, and .prel files?

PE14 on WIN7 PC.I'm looking for a sound-effect to replace an expletive in a sound track on a video for a second or two.Something like a loud buzzer or beep.  I'd reduce the audio level of the original video to zero for the second or so & apply the sound-effect to another track.So far under "Music" I have not found anything suitable.  Any suggestions?

Hello dear Adobe community,i want to buy the newest Adobe Premiere Elements (just called 2018)and i didn´t liked the resampling feature of other Video-Editing Software.Simple question i know, but is resampling in Elements 2018?If yes, how can i disable it?If not, is it still on and i just can´t disable it? Or completly not existing in Elemets 2018?And last question,if i buy the CD-Box version of this product, is there a licence key in it?I don´t have a DVD-Reader and want this software.The only store i can buy Premiere has just the CD-Box version of it Thanks in advice

The rubberband has dissapeared from my video clips on the expert timeline.  It was there a few days ago so I could easily fade clips in and out to my specific duration.  Now I can only seem to use the 'transitions' menu option.  Anyone know where it has gone?

I'm vexed.  Terribly, terribly vexed.  I have been opening and creating videos for months now.  All of a sudden it's not opening the videos and gives me a message the media is offline.  The music tracks are still playing, but the video won't open or allow me to open them.  The only thing that opens is a single page in all of my videos written in multiple languages that reads "media offline".  What the hoopla does this mean??  How do I open my videos? Is this a bug.  Did Adobe go offline? Do  I once again have to uninstall/reinstall PE 15 or is it something simple I need to do?  I purchased it in January 2016.... or is this just a one year subscription that runs out and you have to renew - I thought I bought it.  PLEASE HELP!

I am using PE 12 and I want to cut a portion of an Mp3 to use in my menu title. I looked under your Forums and have downloaded Audacity thinking that I could cut a portion of the Mp3 file, save it and import it into my Movie Menu  Audio portion, however I am not finding an option there. I than thought "maybe" I could add that Mp3 file to my audio line on my timeline, edit it there and than copy it, however I cannot export that portion to where I need it to be.I did go to the Movie Menu audio selection and did see "in point" so am wondering if that might work? However when I tested it the green pointer moved very fast so if that is the answer than1. how can I manually enter the numbers  and2. how do I know what numbers to enter?  (I know what portion I want it to play but how do I figure the corresponding numbers to enter)Is there a way to do this, what am I missing? I was using Premiere Elements 9. Occasionally it would crash to blue screen while rendering. After a restart, it would work.Recently it had quit working after a restart, and it crashes to the blue screen of death 100% of the time. So I upgraded to PE15 in the hopes that maybe a more recent program would do the trick. No such luck. Whenever I render the video, it goes for a bit then hits the bsod.Windows 10 ProGigabyte motherboardIntel i7-4770K CPU @ 3.50GHz, RAM 32.0 GB64-bitUpdated: Videocard drivers, PE via the help menu, Quicktime,etc.I've used BurnIn Test to see if there was a system problem, but it checked out A-OK.I'm at a loss here, and haven't been able to output any videos for a couple of months now. Hi, I'm fairly new to this particular product. I need help, badly.I'm trying to get a video that's about an hour long (the clips are sped up to 800%) to render. It gives me the "Error compiling movie. Error unknown." message and nothing else besides the "OK" button to click. I can always tell when it's going to happen because the estimated time timer goes up and doesn't stop until the error message pops up. I've tried all the ways to fix it and even tried to render only one clip. sinds kort gebruikt ik Premiere Elements 2018 samen met Camera Raw 10.0. Nu wil ik een aantal foto's via Camera Raw opslaan in jpeg. Er is echter alleen de mogelijkheid om in .dng op te slaan. Ik heb in de handleiding gezocht, maar krijg daar alleen maar gevonden dat in een popup ook voor jpeg gekozen kan worden. Die mogelijkheid staat er bij mij niet bij.Mogelijk ergens een vinkje aanstaan wat niet moet?Als iemand een oplossing heeft dan hoor ik dat graag.

When I try to export in Premiere Elements 2108 the process stops at 98% and then freezes. Have to close program to get it to respond. Any help would be appreciated.

So I bought the photoshop and Sony Play Memeories package and downloaded it to my little brother's computer until I got my own. I was told when I bought it that I could shift my package over to my new computer and I'd like to do that now that I have my own. Is this a good route or should I just buy a new package? Obviously I'd like to save the money, but I want to know if this is more simple than I'm imagining. Please let me know!

By using Record Narration, I did all the following:  disconnected mute, turned down the volume to avoid feedback, and could see the volume indicator fluctuate with my voice.  I started and stopped the recording.  The recording showed up on the line and when I double-click on this recording the recording can be heard.  The problem is that when I do playback it does not work.  If I move the recording down to the music line it will work, but I want to slightly overlap the music with my narration.  When I moved the narration back to narration line, it still does not work.  Just last week I did one and it worked fine, and I was able to save the final product with all recording.  This one is not working, what am I doing wrong?

I am trying to duplicate my transition on my timeline, I have found how to select the "default transition" and have been able to set the length of the transition, but am wondering is there any way to select a "default" to the left/center/right choice of the transition? Thanks

I wanted to use the movie menu "faux widescreen" under the general selection, but when I go to timeline and go to Titles and Texts there does not seem to be a match with the Movie Menu Selection to drag to the timeline? Am I just not seeing it or it there not one available? Thank you

I am adding a Movie Menu, General, Faux Widescreen, when I go to create my clip in Photoshop elements what should my image size be to be compatible to the Main Menu 1 so that when I browse and select my photo clip it fills the main menu screen? How do I estimate that for future projects? I have tried different settings but I cannot get my photo clip to fill the main menu screen. I am using PE 12 Thank you

Adobe Premiere Elements 10. Win 7 64 bit. i7, 16 GB RAMYesterday, I edited several videos with APE 10.  Today, when I clicked on the .prel, APE loaded but then gave me the 'crash' message that "Adobe Premiere Elements 10 has stopped working."   Furthermore, I get the same crash message on all .prel files that I click (I have hundreds).  I can open a new APE 10 without a crash. But when I save it, e.g., test.prel, close APE then run test.prel, that too gives me the same crash message. I've changed the default setting, saved, but always the new .prel crashes. I've rebooted the computer several times, in both the 'Restart' and 'Shut down' modes.  Nothing changes.  The only programs that ran between yesterday and today were the usual daily checks of SEP and Malwarebytes.  What's going on?
