Premiere Elements

Hello - New to Adobe Premier Elements 2018, actually checking out the trial version for the past couple days. Coming from experience in Power Director, and have done a fair amount of video editing, mostly for sports clips and highlight videos.  Looking for a better workflow than what I have now, thought the Organizer in Elements was going to be the answer, but not loving it.  Wondered if anyone has any better ideas or can point out something I'm missing.My standard workflow: record kids sports, usually many video clips of a given game, start/stop producing small clips throughout a gamehave the video clips in Windows, directories for each sport/date/gamethought I would use Organizer to TAG video clips that have good plays (tag by person and type of play), eventually wanting to gather them into a highlight video. create highlight video with clips from many different games/dates/playersThought the Adobe Organizer was going to offer great capabilities for exactly the above, most

Hello,I have Adobe Premiere Elements 12, and as far I'm aware I'm unable to add a timecode to my videos. Is this possible in Elements 12, and if not, if I upgrade to Adobe Premier Elements 18, is this feature included?FYI: I am interested in collating raw footage into one long video, and applying a timecode before I send it to a professional video editor with edit instructions.Also, will Elements 18 enable me to save my video files as smaller sized files than Premiere 12? In 12, the smallest I'm able to save a 20 minute video is 1GB, and I'm hoping to be able to save them as low quality, 400 MB files.This may be my naivety, so any help suggesting how to save my videos as small sizes would be greatly appreciated as well.  Thank you,Lucas

Premiere Elements 16.0  After rendering / saving and closing a project why is re-rendering required  when the project is opened again. No additional changes were made, just saved and reopened the project. The rendering did not seem to survive being closed.

Ich habe heute Adobe Premiere Elements 2018 gekauft und mit Administratorrechten unter Windows 10 Home, Version 1709 installiert, d.h. das Installationsprogramm wurde ohne Fehlermeldung abgeschlossen. Es wurde auch der vorgeschlagene Pfad C:\Program Files\Adobe verwendet.Beim Starten von Adobe Premiere Elements mit Administratorrechten bekomme ich nach ca. 5 Sekunden die folgende Fehlermeldung:Mit der Fehlermeldung komme ich leider nicht weiter. "Debuggen" führt leider ins Leere und mehr Informationen sind dem Programm nicht zu entlocken -- zumindest nicht für einen Laien. Hat jemand vielleicht ein ähnliches Problem?

I made an 8 minute video by combining 8 minutes of mp3 audio with about 10 seconds of a Quicktime movie superimposed over one part.  The screen is blank for almost the entire 8 minutes.I then choose to export the video with YouTube widescreen SD settings, 480p. It's taking a LOOONG time. It has spent 15 minutes so far, and the "remaining time" just keeps creeping up, now claiming 1 hour 15 minutes remaining in the export. Any idea why this is so? Shouldn't this be a very quick and easy task?

I just installed Premiere Elements 2018 trial, and when I tried to get media from camcorder it does'nt recognize any devices. is there a limitation in the trial version?

Newby to the amazing world of video editing.  I have several projects (short ones) ready and want to burn them onto a DVD that will play in DVD players on most TVs.  I can do that with individual projects by burning them direct to disk as AVCHD files - but I don't see how I can do multiple projects onto the same DVD.Appreciate any help and bear in mind I am definitely a NEWBIEThanks'

Hi,I came back from vacation and I put some files into Adobe Premiere 12 to edit them together to make one video of my vacation.  I use a Canon Vixia HF 200 camera and also a GoPro Hero 3+When I edit the video in the software it looks clear.  When I exported it to an Mp4 it looks awful.  Not clear at all.I want to keep the edited version on my computer and have it as a file to be able to watch or download to a DVD or another up to date format in the future.  Can someone help (in layman's terms) and tell me what output I should be using to get a better quality video?  I'm technically challenged so if you have questions I can try to help.Thanks in advanceStacy

Ich habe seit heute das Problem, dass Adobe Premiere Elements 14 beim laden eines bestehenden Projekts nach 3% abbricht mit der Meldung "unbekannter Fehler". Gestern habe ich noch an dem selben Projekt gearbeitet und die Sicherungsspeicherungen sind vorhanden, laden jedoch auch nicht.Kann da jemand helfen???

I know there is an option that formats it for your phone, but how do you actually safe it to your phone video library? I am shocked!  I thought I would give PE 2018 a try by loading a project I just saved with PE 12.  All my .MTS videos are marked "offline".  When I tried to locate just one of them, I got the error "the selected file cannot be linked because its type (video) does not match the original file's type (audio and video)".Any help would be greatly appreciated.All of the MTS files are of the same type.  I appended output of "mediainfo" on the first file below.GeneralID                                       : 0 (0x0)Complete name                            : C:\footage\0711 59.MTSFormat           &nbs

At some point in a project, I've wanted to butt two clips together that I had previously cut apart which left an edit point. I now simply want to remove the edit point and leave the 2 clips as 1. Is there a way to do that?

Hey I am new to this community, I was wondering if anyone could answer my question. I have a work laptop (Mac) and a private laptop (windows). When I buy the adobe premier software online, it tells me to choose a software, does that mean that I can only download it on windows. I know you have 2 downloads available, and would like to download one on my mac and one on my windows computer. Hi,Every time I save a particular project, when I try to play it back I get a message that it is corrupt. Exact message is, "This file isn't playable. That might be because the file type is unsupported, the file extension is incorrect, or the file is corrupt." I'm using the same settings I use all the time to render and save my projects. I click:Publish and ShareComputerAVCHDAnd then I have a custom preset:H.2641920 X108059.94AAC, 64kbps, 44kHz, StereoI have saved hundreds of projects with these same exact settings both before and after this particular project without an issue but every time I render and save this particular project I get errors when trying to play. I have tried multiple players. I do not want to start over as it took me days to edit this particular video and it has three different layers (2 video one audio).I would greatly appreciate any information on how to salvage all of the work I have done.Other information:Adobe Elements 13.1 (latest version per updates)Windows

Is it possible to import Video from two seperate sources that were recorded at the same time into Premiere Elements and sync the time so both videos play and can be viewed at the same time in the workspace and subsequently rendered?

I have been trying to understand why my slideshow projects, that contain 8 or 9 images with simple transitions, background music and narration tracks and a few keyframed lines of text preview so erratically. I have a Surface Book Windows 10 Prov 1607OS Build 14393.1715Intel Core i7-6600U CPU @2.60GHz 2.8116 GB RAM64-bit OS, x64-based processorIntel HD graphics 520NVIDIA GeForce GPU475 BG SSD 191 freeThat uses a secure UEFI, not a BIOS. I've installed a trial version of PowerDirector to see if it previews projects the same way.

I am getting the "incompatible display driver" in Premiere Elements 15, however the display driver hasn't changed since I last opened it.  It all started when my computer crashed during an export of a project.  After the reboot, the error comes up.  After I click Ok, the program uses 100% CPU for about 4 minutes and then nothing happens.  The initializing window just disappears and my CPU process goes back down to 2%.I've tried deleting the updating to the newest nVidia drivers, deleting the BadDrivers.txt file and reinstalling Premiere.  None of these actions worked so far.  Any other suggestions I could try?

Hello,I am editing a wedding video. After completing the edit and being happy. I took a few days off. After a few days off I opened my project to find the screen that pops up and normally asks you 'where clip 36' is etc. I pressed Skip all as the box did not give me the option to find the footage.I could seem y timeline and all the edits in place. Half the film was there with the footage and the other half was there in its edit position but without the footage.I restarted the project hoping to be able to be given the option to find the footage in the box which normally says 'where is clip 36' etc but again the box did not give me that option so I had to press skip all again. Then I had to write down all the clip footage names. Find it on computer re-import into project assets and then line it all up again above the edited footage to re-edit.My QUESTION is WHY has this happened and why is my adobe premeire elements a) not able to sync the footage to the edit I've already done?
