There was an error encoding the movie. Whenever I happen to burn a DVD burner, I burned it before and everything worked. I need help!German:Bei der Codierung des Films ist ein Fehler aufgetreten. i use an iMac for my film editing and have Adobe premier elements 14 installed.  Recently every time I try to adjust the volume of clips on my timeline  the programme crashes. I cant uninstall my programs as it is an updated download from elements 10.

I use a Samsung portable burner model SE-506 with an updated firmware from Samsung.Until recently I used Pinnacle 15 and had no bother but since I changed to Premier Elements 15 I am having some difficulties.After editing in PE15, I burn a Bluray disc and this works fine on playback the first two or so times thereafter it registers an error: "No disc in player".  The same thing happens when I reconnect the burner to my laptop.  However, when I play the discs in my domestic Panasonic DVD/Bluray player, there is no problem with any of the discs!So, it appears that the burner can record PE15 files and plays back two or so times in the Samsung burner then it will not play back in the burner at all nor is it recognised.I phoned Samsung and they sent me an updated firmware which I have installed but to no avail.The burner will play back Bluray discs recorded in Pinnacle 15, commercially produced discs and standard DVD's of any sort without any problems.I use top grade Verbatim or T

HelloI have a .prel file (Premiere Elements 11 on Windows 10) in a parent folder on my desktop. I have imported into my .prel file still images from sub-folder A also in the parent folder, a couple of movie clips in sub-folder B, also in parent, and a couple of soundtracks in sub-folder C also in parent.Now that I have imported the still images, movie clips, and soundtracks into my .prel file, is it safe to delete them or move and burn them to a DVD, that is remove them from my parent folder so that there is nothing in the parent folder apart from my .prel file?Thanks!

I am dying here. Trying to do some simple editing, and just getting bucked at every turn. I have tried downloading the update package and downloading alternatives to the windows media player AND premiere but nothing works. AHHH!! Please help

I am having a lot of trouble with my video making.  Everything was working fine, was rendering, etc., but now, all of a sudden,it's throwing clips off, making gaps in the video, but keeping the audio, won't let me close gaps, stopping and starting, just a mess,and this project is due in one week.  I've been working on it for 4 weeks.Where can I get some help?

I cannot believe there is not a simple answer or tutorial on this. So here we go I finally think I figured out how to burn a dvd after I created the chapters etc., but it is taking like 1 1/2 hours so far and it is %25 done. Would it be easier to save the DVD to ISO file and then burn from the ISO file? I read that is should only take 15 minutes to burn a DVD from the ISO file. Forum please help since I have no options for live chat or tech support with my level of customer with Adobe.Bill

Wenn ich jetzt zum Beispiel ein Video-Clip vorliegen habe, in dem im Vordergrund eine Explosion statt findet und man im Hintergrund einen Wald sieht, in dem Tiere rum laufen. Wie kann ich dann die Explosion von dem Wald mit den Tieren freistellen, sodass man dann nur noch die Explosion sieht und kein Hintergrund mehr vorhanden ist? Viele Grüße Eric

Can I do this style with Adobe Premier Elements 15? I'm not trying to push Gary, this is just the ideal example of what I am looking to do and want to know if it is possible with the software.

Product stopped launching. Have subsequently uninstalled and reinstalled countless times, and Premiere Elements will not launch. Is no indication of any problem with the installation.

I am creating a slide show in Premier Elements 15.  I have added music in Mp3 format in the music track, under expert.  All songs work well when remixed to be shortened (not for less than 60 seconds) except for one.  When I remix it to shorten it, it is distorted in the middle.      How can I correct this?

Hello,I am having issues with the timeline. When I click and drag clips it zooms in and is basically worthless because I can't see where I am putting the clip. I believe my exact problem is this:Expert view timeline zooms in when dragging clips | MacBook Pro, retina displayHowever I find the last couple of steps confusing. Which file am I replacing, the one in the frameworks folder? Also what contents exactly am I replacing? And is the "ZIP File I extracted earlier" The one I downloaded?EDIT: I just replaced the files and now my Premiere Element won't even open. I just lost tons of work if I can't fix this. Thank you!

How do I move and old version (V3.0.2) of Premiere Elements to a new computer?

Hi all, I know I can delete a clip without closing the gap (pulling all proceeding clips to the left which is something I don't think I have EVER wanted to happen) by right clicking and choosing Delete instead fo Delete and Close Gap but if you look at the screenshot I want to grab the left end of Cabin Shoot 12 and reduce the length but when I do it pulls everything from the left over. I have to cut the piece in half, right click on the left hand of the resultant clips and choose Delete there. Is there no way to do this that makes more sense? When I purchased and downloaded the software originally I had alot more Movie Themes in the Create Instant Video option and now there is only like 3 options.Also I am not hearing any audio when playing any clips at all.Help Please? Has something changed? It is updated. Not sure what happened!

In the Netherlands where I live 'old Adobe software*' is sold as new...  (*according to their own helpdesks)I am used to work with FinalCutPro, but needed to guide some students, and had to buy Adobe Premiere (Students get tought in it so Adobe hopes they'll keep using it in future. This is maybe my biggest problem: I realise many younger people do not 'know the law'!).In the Netherlands it is illegal to sell something oldfashioned for new and up to date. (When something is no longer working it is not allowed to be on the shelves for sale). And it is illegal to sell products with no customer support! (Adobe grew to be a big company and thinks can get away with this?? They moved all their support away, even to the dislikes of there own staff in the Netherlands).... Any which way it did not yet solve MY problem....I listened to Adobe's advice to buy Premiere version 14 because "it would work much better than 13...." I had to return my computer to factory settings and need to reinstall my previously purchased PrEl. This time I want to install it without using the Akamai....installer as it caused me no end of problems in the past. I actually helped another person download and install the same version on their computer and the downloader gave a choice to install it through Akamai (sp?) or not. I don't remember that happening when I installed it a year earlier on my computer. I have downloaded the pages of the program (Ad Pr El) to install, but have not installed yet, because I don't want to run into the previous problems. Will this give me the choice, or am I locked into the necessity of using that other horrible program (Akamai)? It was constantly using my computer for its own ends, adding spyware, and stalling everything no matter how many times I uninstalled it. Thank you ahead of time for the answer.

I was nearly finished editing my latest video which needs to be uploaded today for my class. I decided to tidy up my videos file by creating sub-files and putting the videos in there. I do not know if the problem happened before that or after, but now all of my videos are showing as offline and I can't open any of them. They all have that red "Media Offline" script with the Japanese font. I read the other complaints about this problem and did the following:I opened and released all of the videos I had filed. Nothing.I restored everything from the recycle bin in case I had inadvertently deleted something important. THAT was a disaster. And nothing.I tried to find the button that says "Online" but I can't find it.I am running Adobe Premiere Elements 14.

I just installed Adobe Premiere Elements 15 and I am unable to use MP4 files from my Galaxy 8+ because I get the 'Add Media Failure' message "The importer reported a generic failure."  Looking through suggestions from others who have import problems with the same error I noted that the use of Apple Quicktime for Windows was considered as a solution but I also note that Apple has discontinued support for this program and recommends that it be removed. I understand that the variable frame rate is the cause for this problem but I don't see a good generic fix for it.  Is my Premiere Elements 15 useless for editing these files?

I have a question for you all.I am trying to edit a recording for a tutorial that I am making. First I am new to this and have been researching a little online and trying to use YouTube as well.It seems most of the information that is out there is for Gamers. I am not a gamer and only trying to produce a good video for a tutorial.I have tried using OBS and Icecream recorder for recording my desktop. If I replay these videos on my PC they look and sound amazing but as soon as I import them into Adobe Premier Elements 14 the video quality goes to crap. By crap I mean that the view of my desktop is not clear and can barely make out what the screen icons are! I have added a screen shot of the video so you can see what I am experiencing.Now if I stop the video while I am editing the picture becomes clear. I have rendered the video and it does not change at all. While the recording is playing everything looks to be scrambled or buffering?I have tried different formats. I have tried importing

I am new to Premiere Elements. I wanted to start with something a little cheaper and make certain I continue with video editing (YouTube) before putting too much money into things (of course, $3k later in camera equipment, I should have probably just went with CC Pro), so I got Premiere Elements. After gathering some videos around town and basic nonsense I decided to put together a little video for the experience. I took a dozen video's downtown and attempted to add them to the Organizer. The Organizer would not create any thumbnails for them..... eh? What good is an Organizer if you don't know what file you've got.So I created a chat with Adobe Support. They said the Organizer does not support thumbnails for 4k videos. (what?). Ok, that sucks, but at least the Premiere Elements project assets does based off previous experience with some Action Cam 4k videos I took, but now it's not working and I am not getting any video at all.
