When I bought my latest PC, I had a solid state hard drive installed as my C Drive. It is only 128 Gb, but I figure it would be sufficient, since I would only use it to store programs, and no data. That is essentially what I have done. However, in just a few short months, the free space has shrunk to about 10 Gb, and continues to shrink daily. By far the largest largest folder is....appdata/roaming/adobe/common/media cache files/ which is about 39 Gb. THey are basically .cfa files from old and newer projects. Can I delete these files when I am no longer actively working on the PRE 11 project? A second question - If I uninstall/re-install PRE 11 onto a different internal drive (which I have started to do with other programs), will this folder follow it, or will the Media Cache folder still be on the C Drive? Is there a better strategy for conserving and recovering my C Drive space? Thanks in advance
I'm having troubles entering the serial number. It's saying that the number they gave me us not valid for adobe premiere elements 15.
Ich möchte eine benutzerdefinierte Vorgabe für den Export unter der Rubrik Gerät erzeugen. Wie ist das Vorgehen oder wo finde ich die nötigen Einstellungen?
When I try installing elements 14 this is the message I get. adobe elements 14 fails to initialize during installation in windows 10. How do I go about solving this issue?
every time I try and burn a blu ray from Premiere Elements 11, the playback from the finished product in my bluray player is drastically choppy. Ive spent hours and hours trying different things and trying to find videos and pages/forums that will help but constantly let down. The video file is in 4K and works fine when rendered down to low res files... but this is not what i want for my customer.any ideas?
"What gives?"
Please could someone advise me. I have an edited video on my removal hard disk and want to print it onto disk. The video loads ok on to Premier Elements 14 and I press 'Export and save'.I click on the disk symbol then 'dvd' and so onto until 'scan'; all is ok up to this point. When I press 'burn', a grey box comes on the screen with the word 'indexing' and a task bar underneath. After leaving this a long time, it becomes obvious the task bar is not going to fill and the video won't start burning.Does anyone know please why this might be happening?cheersJohn W[Moved from Premiere Pro CC forum to Premiere Elements forum by mod]
Having problem importing widescreen video into Premier Elements 15. Set new project to PAL widescreen 16:9 format and force all imports to this format. Import my video but this then displays as a squashed 4:3 format despite the imported video having properties saying it is a PAL widescreen 16:9 format file. Using the same import setup with other video editing software the imported video displays with a 16:9 aspect ratio. If I import and save video from another programme then load it into Premier 15 it displays as I would expect with a 16:9 aspect ratio. Am I new to Premier elements so am I doing anything wrong?
I have a HP PC that includes adobe premiere elements 11 and adobe Photoshop elements 11. Both of them receive an error code of 213: 19. It suggest restarting my computer and instead recently I had to reset my computer. The same issue occurred, so I restarted it. It still shows the same error and now says to contact customer support for further assistance. What is going on?
Hi there, thanks for reading my question.I see that Elements has motion tracking, which is great. It looks easy to use, also great. I'm wondering if the tracking is accurate enough that it could be used for replacing faces in video.Assuming both faces have the same orientation to the camera would the replacement face stay exactly on top of the original face? Or is the tracking only accurate enough for things like thought bubbles, where close is good enough?Would tracking resize the replacement face as needed to match the size of the original face as it moved towards and away from the camera? Can tracking handle both scale and position?I'd love to hear from anyone with comments, especially if you're doing this kind of work yourself. Thanks!
Greetings,I regularly modify my videos in Premiere Elements mostly to crop the videos of the useless moments.I then export the resulting video using the export and share button. The problem is that the resulting file's exif data concerning the date is all set to the date of export of the file and not the original date of the video. Therefore the video does not appear at the right time in Organizer Elements. In Elements Organizer you can modify the date and correct the behaviour but apparently this modifies only an internal date setting inside Organizer and it has no effect on the file metadata. And this metadata is used for example in Google Photos. So this completely disorganizes my phototimeline.I did not see any parameters on date during the export I could tweak to avoid this behaviour.Any ideas on how to have exported videos keep the exif data data? Thanks in advance,Cheers
I know that earlier versions of premiere elements did not support collaboration between apple and windows via sharing a .PREL file. Is this still the case with pe15?Anyone know of a way to get .PREL files between windows and apple? I'm currently on PE 14TIA, maypo
I have been using Premiere Elements 15 for about 2months after using Camtasia, formerly Camtasia Studio, for over 12 years. In Camtasia it is straightforward to create callous either manually or via a Power Point plug-in then render an MP4 output with a custom player that displays those callout single frames as a Table of Contents (TOC) with thumbnails of the frame. The organizations I am working with are more familiar with Premiere, but none of the users have found an equivalent way to create an indexed output video with Premiere Elements. Does anyone on the list have a reference or experience in creating a similar TOC with thumbnail index on the output from Premiere Elements as we understand is possible with Camtasia? Thanks, Mark
I want to insert my own images with transparent backgrounds over the top of video clips in premiere elements (on free trial version atm) but cant see a way of imposing them onto an existing clip. Can anyone provide any advice? Not sure if this is even possible! Thanks
I would love to see Adobe add multi-cam editing to Premiere Elements 16. Other less expensiveproducts are able to do this and would hate to see Adobe get passed by because of this feature.
A couple days ago, I launched Adobe premiere elements 14 and when it loaded, It said that there was an update. I chose to update after closing the program. When it finished updating, it said there was an error updating. I clicked on the error log, but there was nothing there. Premiere was working fine for the next few days, but then, when I wanted to start it one day, It didn't work, and this error message popped up. I installed Premiere Elements again, as the error message said, and it was working fine for a while, so I thought I fixed the issue. But one day, when It finished updating, there was an error again! The error log was empty again too! After that day, the error message above kept popping up every time I started Premiere. I didn't know what was going on. Maybe the update caused SCAudio.sc to not work? I searched for the file in file explorer, and I found that SCAudio was empty! It had nothing in it! I installed Premiere again a
Premiere Elements 10 stopped working since I bought and licensed Lightroom 6. I can't start new projects or open old ones. The laptop is years old and no known changes have been made to Windows or the hardware since the last time I successfully ran Premiere Elements. Does the new licensing model in Lightroom 6 somehow conflict with Premiere Elements 10?
I have just had to replace my HHD. I have reinstalled Photoshop 13 Elements and Premier to my new HHD. How do I get My Catalog and all the albums on my new HHD?
Hello,I have received a time lapse video (MP4) created by a Yi 4K action camera. I would like to grab some video/photo stills from the video. I have Elements 11 running on Windows 10. Hi I am frustrated about buying any products these days because of the limited license issue.I need to know on the Adobe Photoshop & Premiere Elements 15 what the licensing is before I buy it. I have had issue where my computer has died and I lost all my content and had to buy a new computer and I had to buy another license because it was limited to one computer. My concern is this is what is happening with most of the programs because companies are worried it will be used or passed on to others, meanwhile there are people like me where I have computers crash and died and had to buy a new computer and I paid all this money for a product now I cannot use because of the limited licensing. This is a concern for me. There should be safety measures for this kind of thing. Can someone explain to me what the licensing is on this? Other wise I need to look into other products that allows for this kind of thing. Thanks[Here is the list of all Adobe forums... https://forums.adobe.com/welc
I have always found Adobe quite confusing when using their website to find out information regards products, but I am thinking of upgrading one of my products and now I see Adobe have Premiere Elements and Premiere Pro.Does this mean there will be no more Premiere Elements '16' and all is now Pro or are these 2 same products for video editing running along side each other? What is the difference between the 2 regards editing facility? I know the pricing is different. If I come to the Adobe website it is all Premiere Pro and you need to search for Premiere Elements.
First, Hello to all. I've been searching and reading this forum today and lots of great info. However, I've not been able to find the answer to a question I have regarding creating a slideshow in Premier 15. I did not use Organizer as I want more control over the pan/zoom affects. I have 317 photos, taken with various cameras and at various resolutions and all have been converted to JPEG. Many at from a 20 Mpix camera and others are just a capture from a GoPro (at 1920 x 1080).Windows 10, new laptop with i7 and 16gb ram, plus GTX 1060 vid card... it runs smoothly.Problem is this, I have about 1.7 GB of photos, but when I go to export this slideshow (intend to have it available for viewing on a HD and a 4K TV) I see options that would make the file size 36GB or larger? It seems to want to make a 30 fps movie out of these 317 frames... Is there ANY way to save this in high resolution but not make a movie out of it (and thus reduce the file size down to
Elements 15 organizer will play the mp4 file (video taken with the Samsung Galaxy S8+), but when trying to open it in Premiere Elements it gives me a "general error" message (same thing happens in version 14). How can I fix this? Thanks
