I am trying to reinstall elements prematurely 15 onto my Mac I have downloaded the app manager but it won't open, elements says it requires it as some files may be missing[Moved from the Lounge (which is where you can "connect with your peers" from across all of Adobe's products for conversations that don't directly relate to help and support) to a product-specific support forum by a moderator.]
I have a photoshop/premiere elements 13 package installed and about a month ago the premiere part stopped opening and giving me the following message Premiere Elements 13.0 has encountered an error.[/Adobe/pre/main/MediaCore/ASL/Foundation/Make/Mac/../../Src/DirectoryRegistry.cpp-283]I have seen this problem posted before but haven't actually seen a fix for it that I could follow. I have uninstalled the programme a number of times but it still persistsIn my case the problem only exists under my user ID, I can go in on my wife's account or as guest and run the software perfectly which has been my saving grace in the last few weeks, however not very convenient. I have only basic tech knowledge and a lot of what I have read here leaves me baffled, I really need someone to support me through this please and I am pretty much disgusted that Adobe aren't intrested in helping with a product that is only a few years old.Any help much appreciated. I am running a Mac info below
I see so much advice about Colour Matt, but have achieved nothing more than changing the text colour of my titles - which I don't want to do.I would like to have white text on a red background - can anyone please advise on how to do this, assuming I have zero knowledge of Elements 12, as I can't get past this first step?Thank you in advance, your expertise is greatly appreciated.
Hi I just purchased PRE 15 after having been using iMovie. Reason was for better color grading and tone corrections. My issue with PRE is that if I have a long clip I want to use in different parts of the edit the Assets Manager does not to appear to indicate what parts of the clip have already been used. This is very handy in iMovie, where the clips' length is visually displayed in the organizer, and there is a line marker for the sections that have been used, rejected or starred. In PRE 15 all the clips in the asset manager are simply displayed with an icon and there is an indicator if the clip has been used on the timeline or not, but no indication if only a small portion had been used. While PRE seems more powerful than iMovie, this issue is a real downside, especially considering that there is no skimming with mouse over for the clips like iMovie, but i need to double click on each one to see it.Maybe I am missing something, but I wonder if I should have bought Final Cut
I have a recent project that I had been working on for about 3 hours, constantly saving along the way, the last time the program prompted me to save and for whatever reason, I had decided not to because I had been saving the whole time. But instead of just losing the last few minutes of work, the entire 3 hours was lost as well. Does anyone know a way to still recover?
So i have recorded a few videos on an elgato hd60 and when i put my clips into adobe premiere elements 14 there is no live commentary. Only game audio. But when I play it on anything else, my commentary is there. Can anyone help me out pls?
I followed these instructions by Adobe on third party VSTs and can not find the plugins in Premiere elements: To use third-party effects, copy the effect plug‑in into the Premiere Elements/Plug‑ins/[location] folder, and restart the program. I am not sure what [Location] folder means so I put them in the Premiere Elements/Plug-ins/en_US I copied the WaveShell VST3 64-bit file from C:\Program Files (x86)\Waves\WaveShells V9 into the folder Adobe suggested. The plug ins do not show up in premiere.Waves says they are only officially supported and tested in premiere pro but may work in elements.I want to check with the Adobe community to make sure I am pasting to the right folder.I have not tried VSTs by other companies because I mainly own waves Audio plugins. The Waves stuff works great in my music production Digital Audio Workstations so I just need to figure out how to get premiere to recognize them.
I have just started using Premier Elements 15 on a PC with a recently installed Windows 10 64-bit OS and an Intel i7 Processor.I can manage to do a good edit and add menus, both main and scene, and all works just fine while on the PC. However, when I burn and play the DVD in a Panasonic player, the menu icons do not light up thus I do not know which icon has registered so, when I press the Enter button on the DVD player remote, I just don't know at what point of the video clip will commence.Any tips on getting this right is appreciated.Sonny
HelloI have imported a MP4 file into Premiere Elements 11 and then selected 'Disk'. I then chose 'Folder' (4.7Gb) to burn it to a blank DVD. One of the files created was VIDEO_TS.In ImgBurn, I then burnt VIDEO_TS to a blank disk and ImgBurn tells me 'Operation Successful'. When I then remove the disk from the drive and then reinsert it, the movie attempts to load automatically - which is what I want - but Windows DVD Player gives me the following: 'Error: Unsupported video type or invalid file path'.On the other hand, it does play with VLC. What could be going wrong here, please, with Windows DVD Player? The DVD will be used with a TV DVD Player - but will it work if it won't work in Windows DVD Player (I haven't got a TV DVD Player here to test it).I am on Windows 10.Thanks!
I built a computer with the following hardware and software:Intel i5 quadcore processor clocked 6400 2.70GhzMsi gaming motherboard z170 tomahawk ACMsi R7 370 gaming graphics card 4GSamsung 850 EVO ssd 250G16G RAM from ADATA with all that stated, i installed photoshop premier elements 13 for video editing and found that both my computer playback and photoshop playback cause the quality of my imported videos to suffer. When i edit a video, the playback is choppy. Besides these issues the computer operates fine and is actually pretty quick. Can someone please help with this issue.
Hello thereI recently installed Premier Elements 14 and have been able to edit video and add sound.Every time I go to 'export and share', the function opens up but it will not allow me to burn to disc, only to ISO. I know that the black dvd discs I have are good because I successfully burned some video to disc earlier this year, which also means there is burning device located in my computer but every time I press 'scan', the 'burn' button remains disabled.Any advice please how I can get the 'burn' to work in 'Export and share',thanks and regardsJohn[Moved from the non-technical Lounge Forum to the specific Program forum... Hello, I was wondering why Adobe Premiere Elements 12 "for Windows" is not available for download whereas all earlier (before 12) and later versions (13, 14 etc) are available for download? I have a legal copy but lost my cds. What recourse do I have ? Thanks.Andy

I wanted to ask for Adobe Premiere Elements experts, because despite being equipped with Intel Core i7, the Nvidia Gt740 M video card, an external drive running on 2TB, Premiere often crashes. In addition to having a very slow rendering, even if I apply only 2 effects, I'm very tired to modify my GO PRO videos even though they have previously been converted to GO Pro Studio in AVI. When they start a new project using AVCHD Pal 1080p50. The original videos have 50 fps. I would like to understand what error does .... thank youAntonio
Hello! As the title states, I am trying to edit videos in adobe premiere 15. The video files are coming from OBS Studio. I am saving the recordings from OBS at as MP4.I have been trying to solve this for some time now and I do not believe it is a settings issue with OBS (although I could be wrong) seeing as how if i stream to twitch.tv the quality comes through fine.I make a quick sample recording featuring a website page from Wikipedia. When the video is paused it looks okay and the words are readable. However once I press play the quality turns so bad the words cant be made out and pretty much look like Arabic. Changes I have tried thus far suggested by search resaults:In OBS:- Much higher bit rate from 3k to 20k-Changing Container format from default to flv, and then to MP4In Adobe premiere:Making a new project and changing the settings to different presets that I thought would better match the incoming file.I haven't found much else out there about thi
I have a video MP4 that needs to be transferred to a DVD.The burned DVD turns out with jerky playback. The MP4 file is 24 fps.How do you transfer to DVD with Premiere Elements 15and have it playback smoothly?I've searched the forums, but can't find a solution. Thanks
It used to be easy. Click the clip, click "fade out (or in) audio" and it happened. The fade points could be adjusted to give a longer fade if I wanted one. Now, I can't shift the things and in any case the fade doesn't go to zero, or in other words, silence. This is an infernal pest, as I have to do major juggling of the clips involved to get a smooth transition. I'm re-working the current video in Elements 12. It's slower, but more tractable. My computer runs an Intel i7 7700 CPU at 4.2GHz. It has 16GB of memory and a 64-bit operating system. It runs on Windows 10. It should eat this stuff for breakfast. Why is there a problem?Another one, which may be related, is that shifting music from the music track (stereo) to an audio track (5.1 sound) has to be done in at least 2 steps. First, from music to audio 1, then from audio 1 to audio 2 or 3. The same applies in reverse, when transferring files from Project Assets to the various music and audio files, or at least, the ones that i
Hi,When I import footage into the Organizer or into Premiere Elements 12 Expert edit, it comes in with all the highlights blown out to the point where it's almost unusable! Can anyone help me out here? The footage looks fine in Lightroom and when viewed directly from the USB drive it's stored on but when I import it, Premiere is doing something to it that ruins it!!I'm using a PC with Windows 10, 64 bit. The raw footage is .mp4 shot at 30fps.
I'm not sure if this is the correct spot to post this, but I couldn't find a better spot. I have Adobe Premiere Elements 15 and for some files refuse to be added to the timeline. I have a .MOV and a .M4A both of which prompt a "Generic Error" with no other information. These files run fine on everything else, but when it comes to Adobe they simply will not work. These are important and I need to be able to put these files in the timeline. Any ideas?
Unable to open Premiere 13, worked the last time. Now I click on the icon, click on the new project, and it sets there for about 2 mins. with the ants marching along then stops. It just won't open at all. [EDIT - moved from Photoshop Elements to Premiere Elements – Moderator]
