Premiere Elements

is there something that I need to do for premiere to start on windows 10

I export photos from Light Room into a folder on my HD. The photos are renamed (name001, name002, etc) When I add these photos into Premier Elements 15, they are not loaded in sequential order. I want them to be in chronologic order so that I can easily place them on the time line. How can I do this?

Hi,I can't see to find how to loop the gif that I created.  I can see to speed up but not to loop.Thanks!jd

I have almost finished my DVD project when I decided to add narration to my project. I have already added photos, music, and comments to my project and now want to add narration. I know that I can "unlink" my audio and video timeline so that I can alter them independently so can I do so with my narration. I do not want to add the narration and then have it affect the rest of my timeline.Also my audio files are mp3 and m4a, my narration are wma files, will that be a problem?  I am using PE12Thanks

I have been using Adobe Premiere Elements 13 almost every day for the last 2 weeks with no problems.Last night (22/5/2017) Windows 10 did an update. Today I am having problems with Elements.I can open a new project and load videos and then add them to my timeline. But, when  I try to play my  videos I either get sound and no picture or Premiere  freezes and will not respond.Videos that I edited the day before the Windows update  will run perfectly on other software but will not run on Premiere.Anyone got any ideas                        [Moved out of the Lounge and into a product-specific, support, forum - moderator]

Today (where I work) I was installing Photoshop Elements 14 and Premiere Elements 14. I have separate license keys / serial numbers for each product. I entered them when asked and both installs continued and succeeded. I commenced the installs using the Trial Period option and input the keys when asked. In Photoshop Elements 14 I can see under HELP-ABOUT that it shows the product is properly licensed. I am trying to find a similar evidence of license key status for Premiere Elements 14 but I cannot find it via any of the menu options. How can i see it in Premiere ? I don't want to deliver a new PC to an end user and find that 30 days later it will expire. I had separate keys for the 2 products - I can see evidence of entry in one but not in the other. Any suggestions ?

hello i am new here,for the first time i uploaded a video from pr elements too YouTube i went well.nou i want too upload a nother one,rendering went o.k but by uplaoding it stopt at 98% by an error.i tried it 3 times but stil the same problem,then i tried too uploade it too facebook pr elements startedand broke it of ride away.Does anyboddy no wat the problem could be.i am from the Netherlands so excuse me for my bad english p.s The settings in YouTube are o.k i can place a video longer than 15 minutes.                                                                        

I'm new to PE, using PE 13 to create four related videos. I want them to have consistent titles at the beginning, just with different text and images. In other words, all would be X seconds long, using the identical music for audio, the same fade-in, etc. Using the first intro as a starting point, I would swap in a same-size image, and change the text within the existing format.I tried renaming the file and deleting everything after the intro, but apparently I can't import one .prel file into another. Do I REALLY have to create each of the other three from scratch?

I downloaded Photoshop and premiere elements 15 in February and it has worked as expected until this week. I was working on a project Sunday - when I went back to continue working on it Tuesday, it wouldn't open the project. The Premiere elements program just shows it is loading (usually starts at somewhere between 60-80%) and then freezes and becomes unresponsive. I also tried starting a new project and the program becomes unresponsive. The only solution is to end the task.I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program, and that didn't help. I have searched the forums and saw solutions about uninstalling Lavasoft Web Companion (which I confirmed I don't have) and updating graphics drivers (verified that there is no update available.) I have Photoshop and Premier Elements 12 installed om my Dell Computer.  When Microsoft completed the latest upgrade on Windows 10, all of the fonts on my Organizer Home page are no longer readable.  When I attempt to use one of the pull down menus, the fonts are no longer readable.  All of the pictures in my Catalog appear to be okay.  It is only the headers and pull down menus that have been affected.  Any recommendations to correct this condition? 

Concerning Photoshop Element 14Why comes this error when starting to uplod my  file in a new project.It is a    MOV-fil    on 750.000kb

I own premiere elements 11 and was able to use with a third generation i7 with 8gb of ram on a laptop. It ran relatively smoothly and I was able to add FX and change the gamma of shots and change color if necessary.Here on my new computer with a fifth generation i5 with 8 gb of ram and a GTX 940M (2 gb VRAM) I am able to import video, cut video, add one transition if the application doesn't crash on me and also add moving animations. Otherwise I am not able to get any of the application to work. I cannot open the effects tabs, add transitions, add graphics or music or anything within the expert mode.I have read through other posts and defragged my drive and found the correct version of premiere and updated all my drivers. Still nothing works which makes no sense because a machine that is superior to my older laptop and I cannot run a single thing. I am using Premiere Elements 9 and also have the same problem with the sample PE 14. I am on Win 10 with a Radeon HD 6670 video card. Recorded from a video booth as .mov. Even though PE Help says ,mov is a "Supported Video Format" (and I have QuickTime installed) I still get the "File not Supported". The file runs fine in both QuickTime and VLC..mp4 is also supposed to be "supported", but when I convert the video using VLC, PE still won't load it. (Handbrake never finishes converting the .mov.) On a friends Mac the conversion works? GSpot shows no information in the CODEC box for either the .mov or .mp4, so I have no direction to go to solve this problem. What am I not doing, where am I supposed to get the correct CODEC?(Special offer from Adobe to upgrade to 15, but will I still have the same problems importing .mov "supported video formats" and importing songs from my iTunes collection? My Premiere Elements is stalled and I find myself having to return to Roxio (ugh) to to quick vide

I'm having trouble putting text on top of edited video, I don't really want anything fancy...just text appearing when I want it, for as long as I want it, on the area of the screen where I want it, in the font I want it. Can anyone point me to simple instructions, please?

This has happened three times. After I try to put text on sections I have already edited, the video within those sections starts behaving weirdly. First, sections of video start playing UPSIDE DOWN, and other sections appear as if there is a dull colour overlay. What might I have done to cause this?I am also having trouble putting simple text over stills and video. There must be a simple way of doing this...adjusting size and location of text, moving it around the screen, adjusting time on the screen, and making changes. Where can I find a simple explanation of this, please?

Hi there, some of my files, recorded with iPHONE, are with black Background as soon as i Import them to premiere elements (10). I use Windows 10. Do I have to upgrade to Premiere Elements 15? Has anyone the same Problems?thanks for helping. dominic

I'me still looking for simple instructions to add text, running along the bottom third of the screen at various points ion my 7 minute film. I'm getting in such a mess, trying in Quick View and Expert view, and I cannot find a simple way to do this. It can't be that hard. Sometimes I just want a couple of words appearing for a couple of seconds. At other times, I want a sentence crawling across the screen for a few seconds. other than than, nothing fancy.Can anyone please help?

I have just started shooting real estate videos and some rooms are darker than others on a walk through video, How do a brighten sections of a clip slowly so that the exposure still looks smooth throughout the video without any exposure spikes!

downloaded the trial version of premiere a photoshop elements 15. All is ok and the software is installed and if I click to the manager the splash screen appear, but when I'm trying to click the editor I can see the blue bar moving and after about 1 minute the bar disappear and the editor don't work. I tested all the possibilities found here but nothing has resolved the issue. I tried also to disinstall and reinstall them after stopping of all programs in background.... NOTHING. what I have to do? thx in advance. using windows 10 8 gb ram and nvidia gpu

I have a 4 minute long video converted from an old 8mm movie.  I would like to take the first minute of the video, and save it as a separate video.  The properties of the original video indicate it is 15 frames per second (fps).   What settings do I need to make in Share and Export so that the output video also runs at 15 fps . . . . or if I have to output it at the standard 25 fps, what do I need to do to avoid the extreme chop that occurs?

Hello.I have added the track 'Wonder and Awe' to my project. I want to be able to publish my project on line - on a public/worldwide facing Facebook page.Could I have it confirmed that the music provided in Elements 15 is royalty/copyright free and therefore ok to use in the above way?Many thanks in advance.Peter.

Premier Elements 13 burning blotchy DVD.  I'm on an iMac 21.5 inch (late 2013), OS X El Capitan, Version 10.11.6, 8 GB Ram, 1 TB disc with 513 GB free, and Apple SuperDrive DVD burner.  When go to play the DVD I burned it is blotchy after about a minute and a half and soon after that it freezes.  I've checked for updates to my software and it is up to date.  Where do I start to figure this out?  Thanks.

Hi new user here - searched but struggled to find the answer 😞Just completed my first 4k project and want to export it at highest quality for 4k TV use. Selected Export & Share>Devices>TV>4k UltraHD. Only available format is MP4- XAVC-S ( no problem). Selected Quality "high". The indicated file size for this short 8 min clip is 12.59GB. So far so good. BUT, when file is exported to my SSD hard drive the resultant MP4 clip is only 284MB, and while the resolution is correct at 3840x2160, the display quality is very very compressed.Any ideas how to address this?BTW it happens regardless of whether file is exported to laptop internal SSD or external hard drive...I'm using top spec latest generation Dell XPS15 with i7, 32GB, 1TB SSD.Thanks for your help 🙂CheersNick
