where do i get directx to install

HelloIn Elements Organizer, my 'timeline' looks like this:The vertical or portrait style images have had their heads cropped because I don't seem able to find how to place them vertically.How may I do that, please?Thanks!Steve

When trying to open Adobe Element 15 Organizer the program stops working and Windows 10 Creator 64bit try to find solution for the problem, I did try to reinstall the program but same issue, hope for some solution before/if I buy this program .Regards.

Sorry, can't find an old post here, so asking again.  I'm running Premier 10 for Firewire support of old camcorder device.  Some time ago, I updated a GeForce GTX465 graphics card driver and it broke the monitor playback in Premier 10, so had to roll the driver back to fix that.  Now I'm having other system problems with the graphics/display card and am looking to replace and update my graphics card.My question: What newer nVideo graphics card/driver is compatible with Premiere Elements 10 and will not cause a repeat compatibility issue?  I do NOT want to upgrade Premiere as that will lose support for the Firewire interface, beyond V12 I understand.Thanks in advance for advice!

I have Premier Elements 12 installed on my PC and am using Windows 10. When I imported a large (4+hours, 4GB) wmv file into a new project, I got audio for the beginning of it at first, but a few minutes in the audio disappeared. Also after trying some edits, the audio that had been present in the beginning went missing and there was no audio anywhere. I closed the program and re-opened, then made a copy of the original wmv file, renamed it, and imported it into PE12 (hoping any cached files from the previous project/import wouldn't mess it up) and this time no audio was present anywhere. I tried saving/exporting clip of this file from PE12 to see if the audio showed up in the saved export and it did not. I then imported 2 small AVI files taken on the same device as each other with the same settings as each other and stored in the same folder, and there is no audio at all on first one of them (in PE12), but the second one's audio works fine. Hi there,I am having an issue with Premiere Elements 13. I add transitions between still images and they perform fine within the software viewer and when rendered to an electronic file, but the transitions are very 'bumpy' when burned to DVD (which we have to do).I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the software - any help would be greatly appreciated.Kind regards, Jamie

Hi All,It's finally time to migrate off my Vista laptop and upgrade to a new laptop with better editing capabilities.   With my old Vista laptop I could only edit SD resolution video, higher resolutions would not render smoothly from the timeline.I currently have PE 7 but will be upgrading to PE 15 on the new laptop.  Would like to keep the laptop cost under $1500 (not including software) if possible.I've been considering a "gaming" laptop such as an ASUS ROG (Republic Of Gamers) laptop that will have all/most of the latest bells and whistles: i7-7700AQ Quad core processor, 256GB SSD for running Windows 10, 16GB RAM, 7200RPM HDD w at least 250GB (I already have a 4TB 7200RPM external drive I can use), and an NVidia 1050 Ti graphics accelerator/GPU with 4GB of memory.Any comments, suggestions, and/or advice would be greatly appreciated.    This new platform must edit and render in realtime on the timeline 1080P content with tons of effects, transitions, tracks,

Hi Newbie here;-)..i purchased pe-4 from a store here in australia quite a while ago & love it i realise 13 upgrades have since been released but i find pe-4 easy too use for my needs i do not use it all the time & just the last couple of days decided too make a small audio /video & burn it too disc !...my struggle is a tag comes up with a highlited address asking me too paste my serial number in for me too be given an activation key. ok so the link takes me to adobe & a page saying error ??????  any advice or suggestions 😉 much appreciated.

I am using Premiere Elements 15.  I am trying to trim a clip that has a transition between it and another clip.  I want to trim it at the point where it is next to the other clip, but I can't seem to do that.  Whenver I grab the Trim from End icon and move it, it actually trims the transition.  The only way I can find to trim the clip itself is to delete the transition, trim the clip, then re-insert the transition.  Is there a way to do this without having to delete the transition?Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm using Premier elements 15 and I have lost some narration from part of my video. I've been told it will be there somewhere. I have looked all along the timeline and in project assist, but can't find it. My only option is to add this bit of video again and start re-editing it. I really haven't got time to do this. Please can anyone guide me as to where I can find this piece of narration, or is it a hopeless case?Many thanks

I have added the music to my video in premier elements 15 but its moved the images up, so its now out of line, please can you tell me how to add the music to a section to fit with the imagesthanks

I'm trying to do something that, in my mind, should be simple, but it's proving difficult.I have edited the audio of my project. This consists of some video (which appears in the Video 1/Audio 1 timeline) and lots of music, which I've put alternately in the Audio 1 timeline and the Music timeline, so that I can do mixes and fades between the music. This has worked nicely.Now I just want to cover the whole thing with lots of still images. But when I try to put a still image in, for example, Video 2 timeline, this starts affecting the music clips in the music timeline, creating white gaps inside music clips. This, of course, messes up the whole audio edit I've already done.I just want to slap lots of still images on top of the edit without effecting anything I've already done.Anyone know what I have to do, please?

Hello,I'm using Premier Elements 15 to create a video. I have all the footage on now some with narration. I've started to add some music to it. When I added the first piece it went on at the beginning of the video where I have some narration but I didn't want the music there. I edited the music to where i wanted it but the narration from the beginning has gone. Is there any way I can get it back and how do I go about adding the music to a section, so that this doesn't happen again?Hope you can helpThanks

I've recorded countless gaming video games (xbox one) on my Elgato HD60 S and transferred them to edit on the Premiere Elements 15 with no problem. However, recently when I try to edit them there is no sound playing through my editing program (Premiere) yet the sound files are showing available. Anyone have a solution?

I have created a ton of motion Titles on my computer. The problem is I need to save them onto a shared server so other people can have access to them on their computers. How do I go about doing this? It doesn't make sense for each person to try are recreate the uniform motion titles I have taken the time to create. (I'm using elements 15)Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

I did something to my settings bc it take a long time to load my videos on youtube it wasn't like that last time its a lot slower now. I don't know what settings were messed with

Why now that my C: drive crashed and my back up failed, I installed a clean install of win 10. Premiere Elements 14 crashes upon start up unless started in administrator mode. I think it crashes when starting Quick Time? What version of Quick time is needed?

I have been used the SD card 45MB/s to record my video and work well in Adobe Premiere Elements 11 for editing, recently i have used another SD card with 95MB/s to record my video,  it functions the video is normal but the sound signals disappeared, so can you tell me where is the peoblem!Thank you

i am using Premiere Elements 15.  I have seen others post about having difficulty getting beat detect to set beat markers that are accurate, but I have not seen any solutions to this problem.  I am having this same problem.  I have tried changing the time between beats, the difference, and the window sliders, but nothing I do seems to work.  The beat markers it sets seem to have no relevance to my song.  Does anyone have any suggestions?
