Hi,I created sub folder in the project assets and I am trying to move files which I already used in the timeline to this sub folder. When I cut the files I receive warning that the files will be deleted from the timeline. How do I move files I already used in the timeline between folders in the project assets window?Amir
Hi all I hope someone can help me...I have a PC with the following spec:i7 3.5 GHz16GB DDR33 X 1 TB Hitachi 7200RPM Sata drivesnVidia GTX 550 TiWindows 7 64bitI should start by saying that due to a major crash the system's software has been completely re-installed, and prior to this everything was working perfectly. When I am working in PE10 no video preview is shown unless I click within the box - this then generates a still image of the clip but no moving picture. The audio is playing perfectly. The video (I have tried multiple different clips) plays fine outside of PE10, and even plays perfectly using the Organiser. If you click and drag the timeline curser the image updates, but only if you have previously clicked inside the preview box!I have done the following:Checked all drivers are up-to-date with the latest versions (not Beta versions).QuickTime is installed and up-to-date.Uninstalled and Re-Installed Adobe Premier Elements 10.Run the program as administrator with Anti-Virus disab
I am doing a project and have got over 1.20 minutes into the video. However on the timeline the sound on the video stops and the sound wave disappears. When I look at the original video footage in the Microsoft TV and Film program the sound is there.I have checked the space on the hard drive and I still have 21.6GB space available.Thomas
Hi, I recently installed Premiere Elements 15 and Photoshop Elements 15 on my Windows 7 computer. When I start Premiere Elements 15 I get the following error message. PremiereElementsEditor.exe - Drive Not Ready: The drive is not ready for use; its door may be open. Please check drive A: and make sure that a disk is inserted and that the drive door is closed. I get the options Cancel, Try Again, Continue. If I click continue the program loads normally.I do not have an A: floppy drive and it's also disabled in the bios boot sequence. Any ideas how to fix this?I have attached a screenshot....thanks!
I have had Elements 13 Since April of 2015. All of a sudden Adobe is asking for a sign in, PW, and trial copy or registration option.I can get through the first two, but it does not accept my registration number received from Adobe a couple of years ago. What gives, are they making me purchase again?
I'm sure there is no correct answer to this question, but being new to Premiere Elements (I have Elements 15), I'm just interested to know how others do things. So let's say you've shot some great video and stills of a vacation, and you want to make a little movie that incorporates the footage, pictures, as well as a fun soundtrack. Do you edit all the footage first, then insert the stills where you want them, then add the soundtrack? Or do you pick the soundtrack first and then edit the footage to go with the soundtrack?
Thanks for taking my question, new user. I want to add a blank title page for my video at the beginning of the video? I don't want a pre-selected background. Also want the title page at the begging of the video, not overlapped. tks..hk
Hello. I am using Premiere Elements 15 on Win10-64 and when I try to time stretch a png file to match the length of an mp3 file, the input keeps changing to some ridiculous other time. For instance, I put in 00:00:14:00 and the time will change by itself to 00:00:15:26. If I put in something like 00:00:14:1, it changes to something like 00:27:13:45 (going off memory and I have literally been up all night). This behavior is consistent no matter if I do it in the Assets box or the Timeline. This is ridiculous. I just upgraded from 11 and am really considering asking for a refund. Does anybody have any idea what's up here? Thanks in advance.
I would think this would be simple, but I'm about to make my own animated GIF because this software sucks. I'M SORRY I BOUGHT IT! All I want to do is have some text slide across the screen. That's it! It appears that elements can't do that! I've followed the expert help, the guides, looked online but haven't found anything that helps! Adobe people, if you are watching (I know the hackers are, lol), here's what you need to do to make this work for people:A) There should be ONE (1) (uno) way of doing things. So far I have found three ways (none of which work, BTW). There's a menu at the top. There's a menu at the right side. There's a menu at the bottom. All of the instructions say to use one or another of these menus yet the stupid title doesn't, um, title!B) Make a video of how to do the things we request. I shouldn't have to look on YouTube to find some Indian lady that I can barely understand. "Oh, we
I'm trying to use my mouse to reposition one of my images. There's text on the layer above. The image is selected on the timeline. Every time I try to move the image, APE switches to the text element and moves that instead.I've tried disabling the text. Then it's invisible, but APE still refuses to let me move my image (!!), and instead moves the (invisible) text. Please help!! Thank you!!

When I place a clip on the time line there is normal sound in the beginning. As I make a mp4 file of the clips there is no sound in the film.Neither there is sound in the time line after making a mp4.What should I do?
I have a number of short video clips that I've pieced together in a project. The video clips are all from the same camera (e.g. same resolution, etc.). For each of the video clips I used the pan/zoom tool and created a zoom frame that is centered on a particular portion of the video clip. The zoomed areas vary from video clip to video clip, the bounds of the zoom frame are always with the limits of the original video clip. However, when I create a final movie from the project, the left and right frame edges shift, and in some cases the whole view shifts right or left. I cannot figure out how to correct this. Any help would be greatly appreciated!Regards, - Paul

I am making a video showing my activity over twenty days. On the clip for each day I want the days date in the top-left corner. To avoid distracting the viewer I want to ensure that all of the dates are the same size, color, font, location, etc.At first I set up everything perfectly and then copied the text clip and started editing the copies. But of course they are linked, so when I change the text of one I change the text of all.How can I unlink the text blocks? I've heard that "New Title Based on Current" is the magic trick but I cannot find that in Premier Elements 15.I can see that there can sometimes be advantages to having text blocks linked, but there also needs to be a way to create multiple text blocks that can have different text. I would be okay with the styles being linked (that would be excellent!) but having the contents of the text boxes linked is driving me a little bit crazy. All I want is "April 3rd", then "April 4th", and so on, in a consistent location in the top-le
I can play them on the Windows Media Player and PE plays other .mov files, just not the ones from the Nikon D5600. Thanks, Ron
Hi,I'm pretty amazed to see that comments audio mute not sticking made were made 4 years ago, as I'm still having the problem with PrE 15!Am I missing something here? I seem to be able to keep music muted until I X out the audio mixer. Once I then click play on the timeline, the music resumes. This is really annoying as I don't want to keep hearing the same bit of music as I edit the timeline. And I don't want to remove the music as I sometimes want to listen for timing. Anyone else getting this problem? Many thanks,
Would somebody look at this video and help me understand a few things:Life with Oden - Oden's Easter Sunday Why is it not sharp? Why is the barn roof flickering? Why is it wavering up and down within the Facebook window? It was shot with an iPhone 6. I used Pan and Zoom. Once I use Pan and Zoom, I loose details and gain flicker.Settings: I left everything on the defaults. Frame size 1920 x 1810. I know there are a lot of settings. I don't know which details will be useful to you.It was saved as MPEG, NTSC DVD standard. That's what PE chooses by default. I didn't know if I should change it or not.I'm using Premiere Elements 13. Is the solution simply to upgrade to 15; or if I upgrade, will the problems follow me?Thanks in advance.

How can I manage my catalog when there is no OPEN available. It is the name of the catalog in system info".
When I drag a clip to the time line, the time line is magnified. Can this be turned off?
Adobe Premier Elements forum members:I am a serious Windows Media Center user. I am retired so I have time to watch a lot of TV for enlightenment purposes much more than for entertainment purposes, I have acquired so many "units of enlightenment" that it is impossible for me to remember it all. Plus, if I record a 30 minute news broadcast, the unit of enlightenment that I find most valuable contained therein may only last for a minute or two. So I don't really want to save a 30 minute recording to preserve two minutes of enlightenment. The default file format for Windows Media Center is WTV (I speculate that means Windows Television); which is a real pain in my behind. I have experimented with different file format converter units of software to convert files in WTV format to WMV (Windows Media Video) so that I can edit the WMV file using Adobe Premier Elements. I am not seeking help with that part of the problem. That is not a Adobe Premier Elements issue. I have to take care of that
Carzy Cartoon hd Frame green ring. Can it be removed and if so how.
There are several projects that I originally created with earlier versions of PE. They were 12, and 14. Now I have PE 15, and I cannot load the projects without the program crashing. One project opened up, but when I used the edit tab and located the media and re-started the computer so Adobe could conform the videos the program crashed, and it continues to crash at loading. I re-started the computer, I don't have any stop menu markers, and there are no gaps in the project. I use Windows 10 Pro. Ram is 25 GB. Hard drive over a GB free. Please help.
So this is the first time I'm burning on DVD-R using PE 15. I've done it in the past with PE 12 and had no problems playing on Blu Ray players and DVD players. Now when I burn it only plays on computers and reads as "invalid disc" on 2 different blu ray players and a dvd player. I'm using Verbatim DVD-RSettings are what are recommended in the export and share-SD 48-720X480-Fit contents to available space I have the settings on NTCS and not PAL and am using an external Sony Blu Ray burner/DVD burner that has worked in the past. Is there anything I can do?
