How to change duration "(00;00;29;29" of background video or audio from the In points to 3 minutes +/- ?

When sending a program to external h/d  for back up only a portion is being transferred over. Where do I look for all the files in that program being copied over?I'm using Premier Elements 12 and an H.P. p/cThanks,Gil

I was checking on things taking up a lot of space on my iMac today and in documents found something that is named:PremiereElements_15_WWEFDJ.dmgThe kind is disk image, last accessed 1/1/17, and the size is 2.11 GB.I have the Adobe Creative Suite but I never use Elements, which I believe is a video editor. I don't even remember ever buying it. Could someone tell me what this is and if I can delete it?Thanks

HelloI want to create a video that just shows a single frame and plays music while that frame is shown.  I want to post it on youtube.  The picture size is 72 KB.  The music is  3.92 MB.  I drag the image so that it stretches out to match the duration of the music in adobe premiere elements.  When I export the size for online sd480 is 63 megabytes.  That's more than 15 times the size of the combined disk space of the picture and the music.  Isn't the adobe premiere elements software smart enough to know that it doesn't have to multiply the size of the picture so much if it is only using one picture?  The size of the exported video should not be more than 4 MB.  Is there a way to export the file so that it produces reasonably sized output?Sincerely,Gamaliel Isaac

In attempting to make hd dvd from mp4 file, the dvd says either not enough space or dvd not blank when I put new dvd in burner.  I can make non hd videos.  Any thoughts?

Hey everyone,Due to a wrong delivery of our software supplier, we've recieved a Photoshop elements license instead of a Premiere Elements license.We really have no purpose for Photoshop Elements, so we'd really like to switch licences. I'm trying out a trial version of Adobe Elements 15. Thank goodness there is a trial version. I tried linking just a few videos to see what would happen. These are mov files. There is no sound whatsoever. Yes, the clips have sound when played elsewhere.Isn't there a really simple fix or a simple answer, e.g. this product doesn't work with mov files? I don't have time for this. I found various help forums where people were directed to go to 3rd party software, delete caches, etc. I shouldn't have to do that. I JUST downloaded the trial software and tried it for the first time. In 2017 it should work "out of the box" for any common video format.Could someone please verify whether this software even works with mov files? If not, I will quickly go elsewhere and uninstall the trial Elements.[Inappropriate language removed by moderator.]

Windows 10, Premiere Elements 14. My objective is to create a forty minute project of stills accompanied with background music and a few effects that can be viewed on most dvd players.I have been unable to export my project to a MPEG format from the .ISO.  Selecting the correct params prior to creating the file and executing the procedure results in a .VOB format every time.  I have removed VLM from the programs and the registry but the result is always a VOB disk.  I have checked the setup and preferences and there is no reference to this format.  The VOB format executes on the dvd player although it is jumpy and fuzzy.  The dvd player is a generic GPX D200B.  I have been able to create .M2TS and .AVCH output which are not recognized by the low end machine.  The output discs are Sony DVD-RW.Attempting to create the .MPEG directly on the disc instead of an image file reports "invalid name".  This topic has been widely discussed on the forum.Has a

Greetings,I imported and successfully edited a photo over an hour ago. I saved it, and now I can't do anything with it. The photo has a red text box over it saying, "EDIT IN PROGRESS" and it has a lock icon over it.  When I click on SHARE, nothing happens. I meant to be in bed by 11:30 but at 1:15 still trying to use my image... very happy with it LOL.I did not lock it myself, and there was no layering involved. A simple, quick edit to a black and white photo. Please, any ideas would be helpful. I took this photo and edited it to use in a painting class, and need it ASAP.Thanks for any help.Wishes

Hi, I have been using Adobe Premiere Elements 12 on my mac and for some strange reason, some of the files, not all, lose part or all of the audio when i import the files. They originate from my PS4 but duration and not all videos effect the outcome. Sometimes i can add the file and it will less time lost from the audio but still not all of it. Is there any way to fix this issue?

I have downloaded Elements and Premiere Elements 15.  When I try to enter the editor the programme closes down.  Do I need to uninstall and download again or is there another answer.Kind regardsStuart Hopwood

I am using Premiere Elements 15.  I have imported a video into a new project, making sure the project settings match the video.  i have not done anything to the video yet other than add it to the timeline.  The video looks fine when it is paused, but it is pixelated during playback.  Can anyone help with this?

I had a 16mm film converted to a 2K ProRes 4444 .mov format.  PE15 loads and plays the file in the timeline, but there is no video displayed.  Is there a way, outside of taking the file somewhere to be converted into another format, to get it to play properly in PE15?Greg.

My students use Elements 13 in the editing lab, and we have been having multiple machines just stop playback while editing. Clicking on the play button, or the space-bar doesn't work. I have had to close the program and reopen it to make it work again.  The first couple of times I thought it was just a computer "glitch", but it is now happening on different computers more often. We are using Intel i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40GHz 3.39GHz 8 GB Ram running Windows 7 Professional. Using PE 13.1. I don't remember this being an issue before we did the upgrade to 13.1.Thanks

I import screenshots and video clips with the following format.(Screenshot - # or video - #) The "#s" increase incrementally (1,2,3...10,11,12, etc)When I add them to PE, the Project Assets screen displays them in a sequence based only on the left-most number.Assume I have 300 screenshots....I find Screenshot 117....the assets screen will show them sequenced as:Screenshot - 117, 118, 119, 12, 120, 121 - 129, 13, 130, 131...and so on.Any thoughts how to change this?

I use Windows 7.  I've been making video projects using MS Windows Movie Maker and Premiere Elements v.10 until recently. On 1/25/17 I downloaded a trial version of Pre v.15, used it for a few days, and then tried to buy a licensed version from Adobe website.  Didn't like the options, so went to Staples, bought a CD with Premiere 15 (and Photoshop) on it, and installed & registered it on 1/29/17.  A lot of confusion resulted; v 15 couldn't read old prel files created by v10, and vice-versa.  Looking at the insides of prel files with Notebook and Emacs, it looks like the prel files created by PRE v10 are in clear ASCII XML, which I can understand.  The prel files created by v15 look like gibberish, so they're probably encrypted somehow. I'd like to edit the prel files so that the pointer/s to media files point to their new external location, as I could do easily with the Movie Maker project files.  So, 2 Q's: 1) am I right that PRE v15 encodes or encryp

I need to add closed captions to a short video I am creating. What is the best way to do this? I already have .srt files. When I search google, I find many software choices for this in post-production. However, I find nothing recent and video improvements happen frequently. I work with student producing school news. I want them to be able to see the green screen image as they record. For example I want to put weather map on green screen and then my weather person be able to look at monitor as video is taken so they can see what they r pointing to. Can you view the green screen image live or only add it to a clip after recording?

I am using Premiere Elements 15.Could someone please tell me how to keep a moving object centered in a video clip?  I can't figure out how.  Please keep in mind that I am a total newbie.

Will Premiere Elements 15 import video from tape?

Hi I see a few other threads on this topic, but none of them seem to answer my particular question!I'm making a video that includes still photos - they are of various sizes, orientations, and resolutions. When I add them into the project, they are automatically resized to fit into the frame either vertically or horizontally, with black bars filling the remaining space (e.g. they aren't zoomed in to fill the whole frame). This is great, I love it. But - I want to give the photos a subtle "ken burns effect" by zooming in on one part of each photo. However, when I use the pan and zoom tool, the photos are resized to fill the frame. There doesn't seem to be a way to set the starting frame of the zoom to the view I see on the preview - i.e. the whole photo fit onto the screen with the black bars. I am pretty sure it does but just wanted to confirm. Was thinking of adding a Nvidia 1060 card to my machine. I do a lot of 4K editing and computer is struggling a bit at the moment with i7 processor and 16gb ram.Is there a setting you need to select to activate GPU or is it automatic?

Hej!Jag använder mig av Adobe Premiere Elements 10 och har några funderingar angående DVD Meny.Jag bearbetar just nu en DVD med filmer från gamla VHS och har blivit färdig med redigeringen och jag byggde Skivmeny från en färdig mall.Jag satt en Stoppmarkör efter varje delen av filmen för att det ska komma tillbaka till Huvudmeny när den valda video har spelats klart, den fungerar som jag vill.Mitt problem är att jag har en knapp som heter "Spela Upp" för att kunna se hela DVD i sin helhet utan att komma tillbaka till Huvudmeny efter varje vald del av filmen.Någon som vet hur man gör det? En knapp för att spela upp hela DVD:n och separata knappar för att kunna välja separata delar av filmen och sedan komma tillbaka till Huvud Meny på slutet an dem.Mall som jag valde på Skivmeny heter "Släktminnen".
