This is a follow-on post to one I submitted to the beta forum. Using a BM Ultra Studio Mini 4k I can't get any HDR viewing using HDMI to my LG OLED at 50 fps, alll is fine at 25fps. It's as if the HDR flag is not being sent at that framerate. This is using Braw material shot at 50, using these sequence settings: All is fine at 50 fps using Resolve.   Win 11 Premiere 24.0.0 build 58 Nvidia RTX 2070super  537.58 studio driver i9 9900k 64 Gb Ram    

First off let me just start by saying, im most definitely sure this could end in a lawsuit with Adobe and nvidia. I am not the only one this exact situation happened to.   So I originally had a 3,000 dollar pc, which started to really slow down after a year but before that worked buttery smooth with premiere pro. It eventually got to the point where I got rid of that pc and got a brand pc through NZXT the most expensive one you could get for around 5,000 dollars, 4090 graphics card, 64 gb ram, an amazing motherboard, and an i9 processor with a water cooled cpu. Then not even two weeks in boom, had lag problems, would get the not responding error EVERYTHING I dealt with on my previous pc, on the new one and I had it for not even two weeks. But here's the catch now two months down the line, I don't know if premiere pro and nvidia just aren't getting along anymore or what, but I see both companies to blame here, now my graphics card is fried, and i have talked to 4 other people that

Hello,i am thinking about buying a new computer, in particular a convertible laptop.Do you thing that an i7-1360P, 16GB RAM and a Nvidia MX550 is good enough for advanced video editing in Premiere Pro?I mostly work with 4k30fps footage in a 1080p-1440p timeline.I know that the MX550 isn't that good but since Premiere Pro is known for using mainly the processor and because the i7-1360P is very good I thought it could be enough.Thank you very much!

Finally upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10.It's an HP EliteDesk 800 G1 Tower, with an i7 and 32 GB RAM. The machine should be more than fine for my relatively lightweight needs.However, Premiere Pro is not happy with the older GPU I have on the machine.After clicking "Continue with known issues..." a simple test by playing a few seconds of a clip on an existing timeline, exporting that few seconds, and playing that export in a video player, all seemed to work fine.Any idea of how much I'm likely to be okay vs have issues if I continue with the current GPU for a while?And any suggestions on a new GPU to get that will work with my machine and not cost a king's ransom?Thanks so much! 

I recently upgraded my machine from Windows 7 to Windows 10. I had stopped CC updates so I remained on older versions of Premiere Pro and Photoshop while on Windows 7, and now they're all updated since I'm now on Windows 10. I have an HP EliteDesk 800 G1 Tower. I'm told power supply is 320w. Has no available power connectors (unless I use a splitter, of course). Has an SSD and two HDDs. Takes PCIe-16. CPU is i7, 32 GB RAM. Has a GeForce GT 630 in it now. Premiere Pro says the current GeForce GT 630 is supported but that it won't be with the next version release soon (so I turned off auto updates). Photoshop doesn't like that it doesn't have DirectX 12, which it says it needs. Speaking to a tech at EVGA, he determined that the GeForce GTX 1050 might work. It's on the Premiere Pro list of currently supported GPUs. Or the GeForce GTX 1050Ti but it needs power, meaning I'd use a splitter. Hi,I'm looking for top of the line laptop with the GPU that's supported by Premiere Pro. Hopefully with an 18" monitor and 32GB RAM. I found a few good ones but they use RTX 4060, 4070 or 4080 and Premiere only supports 4000. My favorite brand is Alienware but at this point I don't really care as long as I can find something good. Hello Adobe Community!I've been a subscriber since April 2023 and I have LOVED the design processes!  I formatted my first novel and created a book cover using InDesign, and will be sending them off very soon.  I have been limiting myself to InDesign and Photoshop, however, because they're about all my current laptop can handle. There's a HP laptop at Costco I've had my eye on, and I wanted to run some specifications past the good folks of the community.  Would a laptop with the following be enough for the Adobe apps, now and say for a couple of years?:-Intel Core i7-13700HX processor-32GB DDR5-4800MHz RAM-8GB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 laptop GPU-1TB PCle SSDSecondly, if I buy this new laptop, would I be able to just install CC and the apps, or would my current licence require me to remove the Adobe products from the old laptop first?  Not that it would be a big deal, the old laptop is having a hard time running the Adobe apps anyway.  Thanks in Advance!&nbs

Hello, it is not strictly premiere relate, but just to see your opinion in best setupI have now 2 24'' monitor (2k)To recover some room in my desk, i am thinking that i might swith to one 27 (or more) monitor..may be with more resolution than  2k so i could have more space in the screenWhat do you think it is best between the 2 options? i never used suche a big monitorThanks for sharing opinions

I'm receiving the error "The operation could not be completed due to insufficient system memory" when attempting to copy footage from an existing sequence, opened as a read only, into my current timeline. It's only occurring on a singular computer but all other identical computer are working fine. I ran task manager while attempting it and Premiere only used up 6% CPU & added 3% memory usage (22% increased to 25%). Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations? Hello all, I remember being able to use hardware acceleration (mercury) on an older version of premiere pro, but I unfortunately forgot which one. I have an old Nvidia GeForce GT 520MX graphics card, which won't allow that in the newer versions of the app.  Does anyone know which older version of premiere supports gpu acceleration given my setup? I recently received a company supplied laptop to use for editing. I am moving off an old Macbook Pro with only 8 GB of RAM. This PC is windows 10 enterprise, i7, with 32 GB of RAM. I installed CC without a problem. Premiere is running great EXCEPT I can not export a sequence. Premiere does not like my internal graphics card. I spent an hour with an Adobe tech and he confirmed this. I can export via software but it is so slow it is not a viable option for me. He suggested I get an external graphics card. I don't know anything about this. I only have USB 2 and 3 ports on this PC. Is this an option for me and can you suggest a card that will work for me? 

Adobe Premiere Pro CC has begun shutting down my computer during the exporting of a movie. I am on day three of the 30-day CC trial.I had success exporting a movie once the first time, on my first day of the trial. However, since then, I have had little luck.The computer shutting down has happened at various points along the exporting progress bar; sometimes around 45%, sometimes around 55%. When I reboot my computer, however, I see an incomplete, 0 kb file in my save location.I have tried disabling GPU rendering, but this did not help.The setting I have exported to each time (including the successful run) is YouTube 1080p 23(.etc) fps, with extra frame render quality turned both on and off.Is this a bug? Is there anything on my end that's causing it? I'm building a new Threadripper Pro system this month and am wondering if it makes sense to include an Intel Arc gpu alongside my Nvidia one. I really would like hardware accelerated decoding of h.265 10-bit 4:2:2 in order to handle the 8K coming from my Canon R5 without proxies. Neither Nvidia nor AMD offer hw acceleration for this codec but Intel Arc rips through it like butter in Resolve. There was a mention in the known issues a while back that it didn't work yet in Premiere, but I'm curious if that's been fixed yet before I go order an Arc card.Thanks!

Hi guys. Newbie here.I've built myself a killer PC to try and start getting into editing. But it's seems it can't handle 6min of wedding photos with some simple dissolves and pan+zoom.Which seems strange given I've built a:64gb DDR51TB High Speed SSD12GB Asus Radeon Dual RX6750OCAMD Ryzen 5600G You wouldn't think a simple codec could block up this beast, but it seems so.The whole reason I built this PC was to avoid slow render speeds, but here I am, back at the CPU rendering speeds I wanted to leave.Am I missing something? 

I'm looking at upgrading my desktop system. My current system (Intel NUC8 with GPU integrated in the CPU) can't handle the photo and video editing I am doing. I need something that will easily handle Premier Pro, Photoshop, and Lightroom, working with 4K video and big raw files. I'm trying to research GPU options but it's pretty overwhelming. One of the options that seems like it might work well for me is a GeForce RTX 3060 Ti installed in an Intel NUC 13 Extreme (with i9 processor and at least 32gb of RAM). Any thoughts on this? If you've recently upgraded your computer, or even just the GPU, what did you get and why?
