I use Adobe software and want to edit Photoshop and Premiere Pro files from the brand new T7 Shiel, also from a new Dell XPS 17 9720 32GB laptop. While I'm using the Samsung T7 Shield, the SSD startup Windows Explorer window pops up (it restarts) and I have to search again for the folder I was working in.For example, when I work in Adobe Premiere Pro and have the above problem, the used effects, videos, add-ons are indicated in a pop-up window that it cannot be found...What can be the solution?
Typically, such comparisons are reduced to the calculation of time for export, which does not play a significant role at all, since it is only the final of the work. It is much more important whether you can use effects on non -source sources, if there is no time or place to create a proxy. How many layers of graphics in real time can be obtained, given that only Quadro provides a full load of CUDA.In fact, I had to proxy all the source material 1080p and 4K, since I received significant falling out, working for Nvidia RTX 1090TI instead of Quadro P4000. I know that only Avid certifies the drivers for each version of the Media Composer. Therefore, each time buying a game card in order to save money, we go here along the mine field.
Hello, maybe someone has a recommendation as we need to upgrade: out of the recommended list of graphic cards, which is the one most recommended for (flat casing!) the Lenovo Think Centre M920s / ThinkCentre M920 SFF?https://helpx.adobe.com/de/premiere-pro/system-requirements.html#gpu-acceleration Thank you!

Anyone recommend a portable laptop or tablet for drawing and 3D modelling and sculpting?A tablet that is portable and does not need a computer to work or a laptop that could act as a drawing tablet too.I have a Wacom Cintiq 16 and Apple Mac but both are not portable.I need something for when I'm off of University.I read that iPads aren't compatible with ZBRush so it needs to be a device that can work with this software and prefrably Maya and Adobe too.Ive looked at Macbooks as well but am uncertain is this is a good investment as I just need something to pick up my drawing and modelling when not at University.I don't want anything expensive, preferably under £1000.00 but good specs also.Basically if anyone has anything they can recommend for digital art, sculpting, modelling, rendering and animation but is portable.I can't ask this on ZBRush site because the people that respond say they aren't experts and can't help with any questions about zBrush. But I will still use Adobe software a
Hello,I need to buy a laptop and I would like some advice regarding the graphics card. Since I'll be using Premiere and After Effects is there a difference between NVIDIA GeForce 3050 RTX (4096 MB) and AMD Radeon RX 6500M (4GB)? Premiere and AE will work well with both graphics cards or one of them is more suitable than the other?Since I know very about this subject I would be very glad if someone could assist me with this matter.
Hi, I would like to get a budget friendly laptop to run Adobe After Effects / Premiere Pro / Adobe Animate.I currently have a lovely HP laptop which however sometimes gets a bit slow (it has a 8GB RAM but I couldn't afford anything above this previously). Now I am choosing between the following options:https://www.amazon.co.uk/ASUS-UX363EA-Convertible-i5-1135G7-UX363EA-HP924W/dp/B09Q2TH62G/ref=sxin_15_pa_sp_search_thematic_sspa?content-id=amzn1.sym.4939ea89-efd4-468c-a458-8735f4cbce34%3Aamzn1.sym.4939ea89-efd4-468c-a458-8735f4cbce34&crid=I2429L5751QX&cv_ct_cx=32gb+ram+laptop&keywords=32gb+ram+laptop&pd_rd_i=B09Q2TH62G&pd_rd_r=e5dd58a8-9a9e-46f7-ae70-9f93a999733f&pd_rd_w=HGSDN&pd_rd_wg=AuQUQ&pf_rd_p=4939ea89-efd4-468c-a458-8735f4cbce34&pf_rd_r=CWYR85EWXTHCMASX2X0F&qid=1670330914&sprefix=%2Caps%2C76&sr=1-3-b75715df-0cbd-4312-a971-de5362256967-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9zZWFyY2hfdGhlbWF0aWM&psc=1and https://www.amazon
Hi All, Would anyone have insight into how the highest-end MacBook Pro (16", 64 GB RAM, 10-Core CPU, 32 Core GPU) stacks up against a high-end PC (64 GB RAM, i9-13900k or Ryzen 9 7950X with a RTX 3080 GPU or higher GPU) concerning speed and performance in complex Premiere Pro and After Effects projects. I need to upgrade my system and willing to invest in a high-end system to improve, optimize workflow - make it lightning fast where possible. The convenience of a Mac laptop would be great and comparably the same price assuming it's in the same performance range of a high-end PC for PP/AE. Thanks in advance!

I'm trying to find a computer (desktop or laptop) that I can use for the Adobe Suite, and mostly Premiere Pro. The newest versions of Premiere have my old computer is getting prohibitively slow. I don't need something for incredibly heavy loads or anything, but it needs to function and ideally cheaper is better. If it could be less than $1000, fantastic, but do you have any recommendations for an editing computer? Thanks in advance!
Hello, My video editing goes back to 2003, Pinnacle cards! I have been away from it for quite some time. Then was using CS5 extensively. A long while back I had my PC upgraded after a total failure with the intent to upload all my VHS, Hi-8 and DV video but work and life intercepted my best intentions. Now that I'm retired I have the time to get back up to speed. I need advice as to where to set up my scratch discs, media etc. I've spent much time reading posts from years ago but the more I read, the more confused I get. So here is my PC that I had built a few years back.Windows 8.1 - used this since CS5.0 didn't support W10CPU = I7 5820k @ 3.3, Haswell65GB RamAsus x99 Deluxe, 2011 socketNVDIA GTX 970Drives:C = Samsung SSD850, 256gb / OS, Programs. Hi, I'm looking for general guidance on the best PC hardware configuration to optimize performance for premiere pro/after effects projects. I'm interested where to invest in a new PC (RAM vs. CPU vs. GPU) to minimize render times, ensure quick responses when editing and adding effects (eg, from ramping slow motion, adding 3D text, etc... and more advanced effects). For example, I'm fortunate enough to consider purchasing a new PC with the following options and would like to know on which components it would be worth spending more (eg, what HW does Adobe optimize for to make a difference): CPU: i5-13600k (14 cores) or i9-13900k (24 cores)GPU: RTX 3060 Ti(8 GB) or RTX4080 (16 GB)RAM: 64GB or 128 GB Any specific recommendations or links to articles would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi,I'm going through the pain of trying to upgrade my PC desktop / tower.I only export .mp4 H264 videos, using Media Encoder. What are the crietria I should look for in choosing the best graphics card, please? ... other than price - I need to stay under about £700 GBP.The main issue is the H264 encoding - I learned that some cards simply don't do that but I don't even know what to look for, when assessing the bewildering array of hardware.Any help would be fabulous because this seems to be such a difficult questions to answer!

Quite simply I'm a student with a limited budget looking for a computer that I can use to run the Adobe Suite with a focus on Premiere Pro. Hello,I'm trying to buy a new laptop to run Premiere Pro on.One that I'm looking at is the NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 3050 Ti, 4 GB GDDR6, 40 WI read that there are some cards that do not natively encode H264 videos. That's all I produce. Does anyone know whether this card will natively encode them or whether I'll have to rely on the CPU alone (which is what my current, slow, laptop does)?I can't find this information on the NVIDIA website. Thanks, friends.Johnny

Hi all,I have new project to be working on so I downloaded the latest version of adobe premiere pro. Turns out my video card is unsupported. I notice it gives me an option to continue anyways. "If you continue with known issues, you may experience performance degradation, instability, and data loss." Okay, so data loss? What does that actually mean? Will the software delete my video files on my hard drive I'll be working from? I just wanna understand what exactly the risks are because I cannot take any chances that the videos on my hardrive may be deleted. Thanks guys. My video card is Intel HD Graphics 5600. All my drivers are updated, my computer is old.
I'm writing this as a quick survey of Premiere users experiencing difficulties with editing on Mac Studios. Fundamentally, Premiere (now v23) runs on my Mac Studio M1 Max (32 cores, 32gb RAM) as it should but it just keeps hanging for many seconds, sometimes up to 15 seconds, to respond to play or for a change to have effect and that to be shown in the Program Monitor. So you make a change in Lumetri then wait for the visual change to show up or a speed change or even a simple cut. If it does keep hanging, you can prompt it with by pressing save. (Why would that be?) Mostly the footage is 4K 25fps from our Sony FX6, A7SIII, DJI Air 2S cameras (often long GOP). Yes, I know, this is hard media to process but it does not present an issue in Davinci Resolve. I also get repeated error messages around frame retrieval and frame substition recursion. Do others have the same issue with footage from the same cameras or other cameras? If you're working on an M1 mac and it runs fine
I'm configuring a laptop prior to purchase. The laptop will be for fairly light HD Premiere and AE work. The graphics card options are Nvidia T600 or Nvidia T1200. Both are on Adobe's list but the T1200 is £100 more. Any advice? Thanks, Tim
Hey, I have to decide between two laptop configurations for some office and medium media work (Photoshop, some Premiere Pro editing etc.). They come with 32GB RAM and an Intel I7 1260P. I can chosse between two graphic options: - Intel XE Graphics G7 96EUs- NVIDIA GeForce MX550 I heard that some people have problems with the Intel XE in Premiere. Now I'd like to now, if some of you have tested the MX550? Can someone share some experiences? Which card would you suggest? Thanks! GreetingsMax
