Anyone got a fix to this?Screenshot:Screenshot - af085b0ce59d9fb90761f4cbd70a4e97 - Gyazo
Hello,I am a student for Graphic Design. I ordered a laptop on amazon with an i7500u processor (2,7ghz base frequency 2 cores/4 Threats), 16gb RAM and 256gb SSD. I received it yesterday and realized they had send the laptop with an i8550u instead (1.8ghz frequency 4 cores/8 threats). Ive been trying to figure it out and do my research to learn about processors and such. I have found out, that a processor with a lower base frequency but more cores can have a better performance but it all depends on what program are being used. But I still do not know what will be best for my purposes. Im a student for Graphic Design, I will mostly be using my internet browser and Adobe InDesign /Photoshop / Illustrator. Sometimes more than one at the same time. Should I keep the i8550 (1.8ghz more cores) or have them send me what I originally ordered (2.7ghz less cores)? I thought I had done all my research and went for the 2.7ghz because of its base frequency but didn't know about the importance of the
I’ve got this rig:MSI Z79-G45 Gaming (MS-7821)Socket 1150 LGAIntel Core i7 4790 K @4GhzDDR3 Dual channel NON ECC 16 GB max 32 GBNvidia Geforce GTX 670.What are my options qua hardware to speed up rendering times?A 30 sec. clip 1080p in AE with lots of effects takes about 30 minutes.Note: I don’t do video on a daily basis as a pro.
I've heard that Adobe only utilizes up to 10 Cores. Is this 10 cores per processor or can adobe handle/utilize multiple/dual processors each with up to ten cores? So, for example, would essentially I have twice the processing power with two 10 core CPU's and therefore render twice as fast in Premiere?
I just finished building a video editing PC based loosely on the recommendations for "Video Editing Supercomputer" described on the Logical Increments website. I probably would have stuck more closely to the example shown there but some of the components have been changed between the time I ordered my parts and now. In any case, my new video editing monster has now been up and running for about a week and I'm very happy with it. I've written <a href="https://photoperformance.photos/video/building-a-video-editing-pc/">a detailed blog post</a> describing some of the components and my experiences in doing the build. Hopefully, this will be helpful to someone.
Hello!I have a PC (Alienware R7) on Windows 10 with i5-8400, AMD Radeon RX 580, 16 Gb RAM.I use PP v 12.1.12 (build 69), as well installed PP 19 (I don't use it). With this kit I can't use GPU acceleration - the "Render" field is disabled in both apps (incl ME 2018 / 2019).Who knows how fix it?PS: creating the supported cards lists didn't help.
I've got the last MacBook Pro with the good Keyboard. I typically only use it while travelling and have not done much encoding on it until now. I have an extended trip coming up and I want to encode some videos that will encode all night long. I ran a test last night and notice the following while encodingThe fan stays on all the timeThe Battery drains to about 85% and hovers there even though plugged in with 85w chargerShould I be worried about my MacBook prematurely failing (mb, memory, hd, etc.) if I do this a lot or is it made for it and I shouldn't worry. All stories welcome. Thanks,

Hey there, I'm thinking about buying the maxed out new Huawei matebook x pro as an editing on the go and of course university machine.Reading about the 4gb minimum vram requirements for cc 2019 I'm not really sure, because of the matebook x pro only having the Nvidia mx150 with 2gb of vram. Does this mean that I cannot install premiere pro 2019 at all? Or is it just like a recommendation? Will only CUDA not work? For effect stuff and intense graphic stuff I got an desktop pc with gtx 1060.. Do you think it is worth getting the laptop or will it just be a pain in the ass only working with cc 2018Thanks in advance. Tim
Hi i had premiere on free trial and on 4/5 days he worked fine, but yesterday when i opened him my pc crashed (BSOD SYSTEM EXCEPTION NO HANDLED) my specs:CPU: i5-8500u 1..6Ghz with turbo boost 3.4GPU: MX150 2GB VRAM RAM: 8GBStorage: HDD 1000GB(Yes is a laptop)
Considering buying a late 2013 imac for Illustrator and Photoshop CS5. It has Sierra loaded on it right now, which hopefully won't be a problem since I'm able to use my CS5 on a macbook pro with Sierra now too.Can anyone advice me if this imac would be a good purchase for just under $1,000? It has i7 processor and 16gb ram and both HDD and SSD. The specs are great, I'm just worried that it's an older computer and won't last for too much longer. My only other option is to buy a newer imac with only 8gb memory and then I'd also have to upgrade to Adobe CC which I am desperately trying to avoid.
Is anyone running CC19 without lag on their 16GB RAM laptop? I bought it 3 days ago and it is one of the highest recommended computers for editing and running premiere pro but it was lagging and freezing pretty badly on a basic video.

HelloI am curious if i have a 13in MB Pro 2.7 i7 16GB with Intel Iris Plus Graphics 655 1536 MB (this is maxed out ver of 13in) and i am whole aware of limitations with 13in....and not interested in a 15 in- sorry I am just wondering If i were to get an external GPU like : Sonnet eGFX Breakaway or Sonnet eGFX Breakaway Puck or Akito Node (reccos on best one for this is welcomed too)If i had one of these hooked up to my machine would that take on the more intensive operations of encoding and exporting timelines?thanks in advance for any advice given-chris
I'm pretty new to using Premiere for anything other than cutting up clips, matching with the music, and putting in some light transitions.Trying to get more in depth with the massive software, and setup a newly built PC for Premiere Pro optimization.I plan on editing 4k travel videos, normally 5-10 minutes or shorter in total time, but a hefty amount of original shots with a decent amount of effects and transitions.I currently have:250GB SSD for OS and Programs1TB NVMe for Current Project Files and Media250GB SSD for Scrach & Cache (???)1TB WD Black 7200rpm HDD (not being used currently...)External Hard Drives for Exports and ArchiveAm I currently maxing out the potential of the hard drives I have or is something that can be improved? Is the 250GB SSD for the scratch and cache disk large enough? I'm getting mixed answers from the research I've been doing. Is there something the 1TB HDD can be used for that would optimize the setup even further even with its slower read/write speed? An
There is a decent chance that they will outperform intel mainstream chips like the 9900k. Rumored up to 16 cores @ 4-5Ghz. Does anyone know if Adobe knows why AMD performance is poor in premiere? (talking timeline scrubbing and general snappiness). I hear that AMD works well for resolve, so it not like there's an architecture problem across the board.
So I'm wondering if I should get a better CPU and lesser GPU or a better GPU and lesser cpu.More specifically the i7 6950x has 10 cores and is about $1,700 and a 1080ti video card for about $500. For around the same price I can get an I-9 9900k and a 2080ti. Which scenario do you think would be better for editing with Adobe premiere and rendering and maybe even after effects? and if you do have a suggestion I would love your explanation so I could be educated by your perspective. The i9 has the best thread performance but I keep hearing that Adobe premiere does great with 10 cores. I want to have as few bottlenecks as possible in rendering and scrubbing and adding effects and previewing full res. In either case I assume I'll get 64 gigs of RAM and use m.2. I'm also getting into doing some gigapixel 360 panorama tours using a totally different software suite and I like to use Adobe Photoshop and illustrator and would like to be more creative with the other programs Adobe offers.
Hello,I've asked around a few forums but I didn't realize there was an Adobe forum here discussing hardware, so I'd love to get your opinions on my upgrade. I can't spend a ton of money, my main use would be editing in Premiere with the ability to smoothly edit 4k.Current (sad) specs:Intel Core i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67 GHz 2.65 GHz6 MB RAMNVIDIA GeForce GT 710Windows 7 64 (I will likely upgrade to 10)2 1-TB Hard Disk DrivesUpgrade List:AMD - Ryzen 7 2700X 3.7 GHz 8-Core ProcessorAsus - ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING ATX AM4 MotherboardG.Skill - Ripjaws V Series 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200 MemoryIntel - 760p Series 512 GB M.2-2280 Solid State DriveMSI - GeForce GTX 1070 Ti 8 GB Video CardI'm thinking of adding another SSD for media files, I saw a good post on here about using the M2 for media files and a sata SSD for the OS.Any suggestions? This will run me around $1200. My case and fans and PSU should handle this, so I can save money there. I don't want to spend much more tha
Hi there,Im operating a 4 year old Mac Pro (Late 2013) Spec Below:Processor : 3.5GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon E5Memory : 32 GB 1866 MHZ DDR3Graphics : AMD FirePro D500 3072MBIt was fairly basic apart from the RAM upgrade on purchase and its been a OK machine, however I'm looking for an upgrade that will improve my saving & rendering time. They still sell virtually the same machine with almost identical tech specs, but I have access to 4 other machines with the same spec but brand new and they can't keep up with the pace of the work...hence the upgrade to something better and faster. My work is within the Large Format & Packaging industry and regularly saving down GB's worth of data in one hit, some of the PDF's I make are being reduced down to 1GB from 2.5GB on Indesign Export. My question is, what do I upgrade to and whats going to be more important to me?I was thinking along the lines of the below:Processor : 3GHz 8-Core Intel Xeon E5Memory : 64 GB 1866 MHZ DDR3Graphics : AMD FirePro
Hi everyone,So I have been doing research and I feel like I'm at a dead end. I have tried everything in this other post. Including GPU sniffer and drivers. I did see this post below. But is this normal? Could you guys please advise if this is normal? Feel free to delete.https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2403101System SpecsGigabyte 107032gb Balistix Rami8700k.
I have a budget of $3K give or take a couple hundred which includes tax.I keep thinking I want a RTX 2080 ti and i9 9900. But, I keep hearing that it's better to have a better CPU.My old system has an m.2 card I'll probably bring over. I'll probably want to buy a new one for the main drive.Really, I just need to know what CPU, Video Card, Mobo, and RAM would be best. I'll probably be able to figure out the case, power, drives, and cooling Should I buy a different/better/more core CPU and less expensive GPU? If so, what do you think would be best? I'm assuming the cooling, drive, tower, and power will be about $600. So, for $2,400 or so, what would be the best CPU, GPU, RAM, and MOBO?[Moderator note: moved to appropriate forum.]
I'm building a new system. I could easily buy two 2070 cards for around $300 less than one 2080 ti. And the two 2070 cards would give me 16GB VRAM instead of 11. Do you think Premiere and other adobe programs would run better with the one 2080 ti or the two 2070 cards? Can someone confirm their GPU works well in Mojave in regards to Premiere, 4K editing, Lumetri effects etc. I have a 5,1 Mac Pro, upgraded a lot, working in High Sierra. My Titan GPU does not work well when effects come into the picture in Premiere and AE. I know for sure that my current GPU will not work with Mojave and I'm willing to spend some money to upgrade but I would like to hear from an editor that their specific setup is functioning.
any thoughts on these specs? thank you all.
Hello, I am looking for advice... I am looking to purchase a wacom mobile studio pro, 13" or 16"(haven't decided on size yet) and also the Adobe membership for $52.99/mo. The Wacom 13" has an i7, 256gb, 8gb ram and an i7, 512gb, 16gb ram that I'm considering. The 16" has an i5, 256gb, 8gb ram and an i7, 512gb, 16gb ram. I'm trying to figure out my best option for use with the Adobe programs and Flash. (Really, best and doable options because I'm trying to not get too far into debt as I'd be financing the Wacom.) I do graphic art, drawing, fine art drawings and paintings, tshit-s design, book illustration (most all of this for print), script writing and storyboarding, some 2d animation or games (on flash, but would love to try out 3d one day). Any advice is very much appreciated! Thank you in advance!
