Thanks for this video, Kevin. I updated to Premiere Pro 2019 and suddenly was unable to export with video. Used the Alt + Shift solution when opening up Premiere and that solved the problem.
I know the future is always changing, but isn't it too soon to be phasing Bluray out?1) No Smart Rendering for Bluray exports, (or dvd) but there is Smart Rendering for .mov or avi for online youtube video crap.2) No more CS6 EncoreOK Adobe, we get it. You hate physical media. You hate Bluray and DVD's...BUT WE STILL NEED AND USE THEM!!!What about the 1000's and 1000's of wedding video creators, birthdays, filmmakers, etc.... The general public has not outgrown Bluray discs. Sure, I can see dvd creation going the way of the Do Do, but Bluray??Message to Adobe:I, and I'm sure 10's of thousands of your subscribers would LOVE to have smart rendering for Bluray creation.I for one would pay extra for it.Come on Adobe, would it really kill you to install a simple Bluray dvd mpeg2 codec in the sequence settings??? Would it????I wish there was a 3rd party plugin that would do smart render for Bluray. Now, like everybody else for years, I now have to encode my film, and P
Media encoder takes 2 minutes and 15 second to open.. Then dropping a file into it creates an endless beach ball. So my professional work has now ground to a halt so that I can look things up and service Adobe's needs instead.Maybe, just maybe, Adobe could release new versions of it's software that doesn't require us to fiddle with our computers and uninstall things, then re-install things... and waste a whole day tinkering. Maybe they could do that. The software worked great until they "improved" it. Now it has turned us all into troubleshooters who work for Adobe. Do they realize that we are professionals who actually need our time to... you know... work on projects? I can't do an Adobe update until my schedule is clear for like 3 days... so that the update process won't destroy a critical work schedule. It's like they don't have any respect for that at all. The cloud service has made it too easy for them to push stuff out with be
This is just absolutely unacceptable for professional software. I am unable to add or remove any LUTs simply because it will destroy hours of work on older projects? I just opened an older 9 minute project that needs simple revisions but all of my 10+ hours of color is all wrong. Now what, Adobe?Premiere is making it VERY difficult to stay with them because of amateurish, lazy decisions like this.
I am going through the same thing. .NO updates work. and I have spent the last few months daily dealing with THE HEAD OFF ADOBE DVATHEY HAVE NO ANSWERSEdited by Moderator: Please do not discuss legal action in these forums. Thanks.
Why in the name of all that's good and holy would Adobe suddenly decide to drop native support for a widely used codec in release (v13.1.3), without notice, causing major business disruption for clients who rely on it for their core business?
Yeah. I had Adobe essentially tell me in another forum that I was stupid for upgrading to their new editing software mid-project even though I explained that I have auto-updates turned on and wasn't even aware that it would download and install an entirely new version of Premiere and then auto-open that new version when I opened a new project. I am currently working on reporting their behavior. The Adobe staff that runs these forums is pretty rude.
OK people, I thought I´ll start a petition to show Adobe how many people are unhappy with this. I hope for your support:Petition Please Adobe: make Premiere Pro ready for iMac(pro)
I have just moved to CC, but also have CS6, so I do have the use of Encore.I am filming a wedding soon, and the client is looking for a DVD & USB. The DVD side I can do in encore (OK, looses quality but not a lot of can do based on size). The main output will be to USB, where i am looking to retain as much quality as I can.Now I could just do the menu items as listed files (01 Bride Prep, 02 Groom Prep etc) and access it through Windows Explorer. However, ideally I would like it to run on a similar line to a DVD - so they put it into the PC and either it starts, or the click on a single file (TV working even better!). There would be a menu etc, and a play-all etc etc etcBut I cant see how to do this. I tried to do a test with Encore building a Blu-Ray folder and then an ISO but with no luck (ISO kind of worked, but didn't look great).Am i looking for a holy grail that does not exist? Is there a way to do what I want through Adobe CC/Encore CS6?Also, what would you recommend for a F
So after the first 90 min tech session failed, I got a call back finally from the "escalated" department.JUST ANOTHER TECH THAT WANTS TO TROUBLE SHOOT THE PROBLEM. "CLEAR THE CACHE AND RENAME THE MAIN FOLDER"Spent another 45 mins on this tech and he was able to "import a project, into a new project." That worked for about 3 mins. After closing and reopening PPro, the problem returned. It was nice to see the program work for 30 seconds. There are no techs at Adobe tech support. Only guys that read the manual and sit there and trouble shoot hour after hour BECAUSE THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT THE ARE DOING AND HAVE NO CLUE AS TO HOW TO FIX A SIMPLE PROBLEM LIKE "SEEING THE VIDEO CLIP IN THE MONITOR!!!!!!!!"AM I ASKING TOO MUCH FROM PPRO TO ACTUALL SEE THE CLIP????IS IT TOO MUCH TO ASK PPRO TO HIRE TECHS THAT SPEAK ENGLISH????? I FEEL TERRIBLE HAVING TO ASK THE TECH EVERY 30 SECONDS, "CAN YOU REPEAT THAT PLEASE" IT'S INSANE. EVERY TECH TALKS LIKE THERE IS ONLY 5
I'm so feed up with your company and your software. You can't imagine how much I hate to work with, but I still have no choice for now. but we are beginning the transition to some other softwares. It's the same here. Bugs take sooo much time to be fixed, or never fixed. That's insane for 60 euros per month per subscription. Adobe moves your a..... instead of satisfying your shareholders. And WHERE IS THE MULTIPROCESSING???!!!!!Windows 10latest AFX 16.1.2 (build 55)i9 9900K64GB RAM3 Monitor2 RTX 2080ti1 GTX 1080ti
We that didn't work. Cause now after updating to 2019 now I have the problem. Please address soon. Premiere has become a crap product. It's so frustrating. Seems I'm going to have to switch to DaVinci Resolve. I don't want to learn another program but at this point I'm gonna have to.
how the Product Team might address making this process more bulletproof.I think your target is too high. This is Premiere Pro. There should be some expectation that education/training/manual reading has occurred.Premiere Elements should be the bulletproofed version.
After so much time, nothing new from Adobe for a patch. What is not clear in need of this feature as a broadcast company.I went back to 12.1.2. and I'm going to start pushing on Resolve. When we release a new version, we must be ready to react quickly, especially if we want to claim "PRO".Really disappointed with the efficiency of the company! Let's go Adobe ... wake up!
The simplest answer is: PPRO is a —, the most unreliable software on the world. You should not trust it, you have a good chance it will fail your big, complex project near to the end. Mod note: Please don't use profanity. We have minors reading here. This is a user-to-user forum. Be kind.
No doubt! I lost countless hours, entire days worth! And pay for it? And meanwhile all the sacrifices I have to make when I'm dealing with a faulty program. I could have been trying to instead focus on buying in on a stock that I lost out on because I ran out of time. I lost over 10K over the last month and a half because I ran out of time. Where did my time go? Well, I would have been completely done with all my projects if it wasn't for all the premiere problems. I switched over to DaVinci Resolve a while back and absolutely love it.There's also AVID and Lightworks as options, both having been used in Hollywood for decades.Hitfilm is kind of a PP clone, as least GUI-wise. I don't know about the underlying code and how well it works.
Adobe is the only company that sends out updates that are garbage. This program gets worse with every update. If youre lurking in this firum because you are trying to make a decision whether to go with adobe for your editing needs do yourself a favor.. RUN as fast and as far as you can.You will get less work done and have way more headaches if you use this trash.I am sorry I conviced my company to go with Adobe team.. I will make sure its cancelled ASAP. Time to find another solution because this one is PATHETIC
Just completed a rather heart wrenching exercise of removing all Adobe Applications from my systems. Was tougher to do than I thought emotionally!Decided not to renew my licences for various reasons.I have been a long time user of Premiere, After Effects and Photo Shop... and in fact ...most likely the longest member on this Premiere ForumAugust 11, 2002 was my join up. Seen many people come and go and only one or two remain that I recognise...Hi Ann Bens, Hi Kevin-MonahanDid enjoy my time as a professional contributor to this forum very much... and we did have some fun and the occasional rark up in the Video Lounge over issues.I have loved / adored...using Premiere, After Effects and Photo Shop and seen a lot of progress since the very, very FIRST Premiere Version. All versions have worked very well for me and have also been very productive and profitable.Thanx Adobe...thanx to the Forum.CheersShooterNZCraig Howard.
Will there ever be a Linux version (preferably Ubuntu/Debian Linux since that's the most popular) of Adobe Premiere Pro, and also the entire Production Premium Creative Suite? At my workplace I already made the decision to go on the PC platform for our edit systems, and am regretting it because Prod. Prem. CS4 is ALWAYS crashing (particularly Premiere and After Effects) on the Windows XP OS (also using Matrox Axio LE hardware). My co-worker wanted us to go with the Mac platform (when we were pitching considerations to our boss), but I didn't listen. So it doesn't look like we'll be able to justify a whole other hardware investment, so if Adobe's CSPP were to be ported to Linux, that would be a win-win (no pun intended with Win-dows!) for us where we would just buy the Linux version of the software. I know no OS is perfect, but from my experience Windows is a horrible OS that should die. When it crashes, it crashes nasty - it hangs for a long time before qu
This doesn't correct the problem at all. I have just tested this method three times and the same problem persists. I have opened a previous project from two years ago, client wants a simple change, but now the LUT that it was referencing is in the incorrect place and therefore a five minute job now has become a whole day re-colour job. (who can remember which LUT they used two years ago?)Francis, I tried your method of putting LUTs into the /Common/ folder within the library preferences however the same issue applies. PPro will read the LUTs from there, great, however it will still affect the LUT order and therefore change the LUT that Lumetri references. This is quite frankly unacceptable.Unless I am missing something? The only workaround I can see is to rename all custom LUTs so they have a "z" before them to make sure they come after the order of the LUTs provided with the default software. But I wish I knew this for the last couple of years. Every single project I might need to go ba

حقایق پشت پرده ایران پرودی - YouTubethis guy is a god at editing, please teach me so i can one day get to his level.[Moved to Video Lounge by mod]
I used to sit down in front of photoshop and be excited, back in the 90's Adobe was like a god to me. But then...Well you all know. ANd I know it's pointless writing this, but when Youv'e wasted 3 hours trying to talk to do a chat session with adobe support... well you know that too.In case anyone from adobe reads this (lol!)I spent 6 hours playing with a digital audio workstation app on my phone. It was amazing - built for the phone, great interface, intuitive blah blah blah. It was 0.5 release beta software. It crashed twice, and each time it restarted itself and recovered everything I'd done. I didn't lose a thing. I had effects on effects: It was absolutely thrashing my phone's CPU and ram, and it was more stable than premiere is. Right, vent over, back to re-doing the last 15 minutes of work AGAIN, for the millionth time.SIGH!
