Risking the ol' banhammer:So, to be clear, Kevin, you guys revoked the licenses for older versions of your software, making it essentially illegal for your paying customers with older hardware to run your software. Instead of providing workarounds or solutions, your advice is to drop several thousand dollars on a new computer? Have I got that right?

Adobe,I got this email from you today saying certain older Adobe CC apps would not longer be supported and available for download. Unfortunately, not everyone has the cash to go out and buy a new Windows 10 PC required to run your apps' latest versions and are instead still running Windows 7 Professional 64 Bit OS on their PCs.I saw today that Adobe Premiere Pro CC 11 was included in this list to be discontinued and I believe it was the last version of Premiere Pro CC that would fully work on a Windows 7 Pro 64 bit PC, because starting with the next version - version 12, you required Windows 10 because you started relying on certain audio codec support being delivered by Windows 10 instead of Premiere Pro. I believe the same issues are created by your discontinuance of the last Windows 7 version of After Effects and Audition too.Please reactivate support and download-ability for the last version of any of each of these products that still supports Windows 7 Pro 64 bit OS, as myself and

Mod Note: Branched from "Unofficial Troubleshooting Guide"A guide that starts out by assuming all issues are a result of ignorant users?  Wow!  Really?  Could Jim be more condescending?  I'm surprised Adobe would allow such a post to stand ... but from what I gather Adobe are simply not lurking nor present in these forums at all.  It's the standard lip service forum that uses other users as a "free" support staff.PP v12.0 is FULL of serious bugs, clearly wasn't tested enough and rushed out the door to meet some artificial deadline.  The bugs I'm encountering in PP v12.0 simply don't exist in PP v11.0 so clearly it's an Adobe problem NOT an end user problem.I've taken the time out of my "busy" day to complete official bug reports, but as with prior years I doubt I'll ever get any sort of response from Adobe, not even a Thank You for taking the time to expose bugs in their products.Rob.

I just completed editing a massive 93 minute 4k documentary. I spent days trying to output the project for color grading using the project manager. It is so inadequate. Error after Error notification every time I tried it. Spent hours reading forums where other poor editors faced the same dilemma. I do not think I will ever use Premiere again on a project of this size. I'm switching over to Avid. You have to fix this. There has to be a way of eliminating proxies, and describing the specific errors. I was forced to look at every clip and find the 3 that my assistant had used an ampersand in. I am unbelievably frustrated. Good by Premiere. [edited by moderator]

You guys seriously have to fix this.  I couldn't even work on my project today.  I know you guys are going to want to know my system settings, and they're the same as they were in the previous versions when everything worked fine.  I cleaned out the cache tho there wasn't much there.  It's a freaking bug that Adobe needs to fix.  Please fix it quickly or I just need to finally switch over to Final Cut Pro.

If it weren't for Dynamic Link, I'd take a serious look at Resolve.I think you should anyway.  Version 15.3.1 is pretty stable, and you get the equivalent of Premiere Pro, After Effects, SpeedGrade and Audition all in one program, no 'linking' needed.

Hello Everyone.I have the Sony PXW-Z150 4K XDCAM Camcorder.B&H Photo VideoAlso, I have a few Canon 5D's. I always wanted to have a Cinema Camera, Because I have many Canon L-Series Lenses. In the past, I have used my Canon 5d with 70-200 L Lens, and I got some good results. I can not get the Look  I want with my Sony Z150, because It's of Fixed Lens. Offcourse, for Run and Gun situations, It's a good camcorder to zoom in/out quickly.  Canon C100 Mark || is a great camera, but  It does not shoot In 4K, and to Purchase a Canon Cinema Camera that Shoots 4K, the next step Is C200, and It's very Expensive. I want to purchase the C100 Mark ||  but I want to make sure It Is the right choice or not. What you guys think about this.Thank you very much.

Adobe just deleted my complaint presumably because they don't want anyone — all over their precious new update that ruins playback/exporting for users. It's time to get away from Adobe. Check out DaVinci Resolve. I've heard from countless others it's WAY better. And it's FREE. The free version may have some limitation however and uses the default OS H.264 codec decoder (I think) so H.264 may drag a bit with the free version. The paid version is only a one time fee of $300. Or, get the full version free with the purchase of a black magic camera!!! As soon as I get through this last project I'm getting away from Adobe for good. I've been using it for 14 years and it's just ridiculous to keep paying for something over and over, esp. just to have it break over and over. Everyone online, like on YouTube, talking about making the switch to DR away from Premiere says they wish they did it sooner and they're very happy with the switch. Most do it because of the CC subscription model is robbery and plagued with ongoing issues.

I am looking for a tutor to help me transition from Premiere Elements to Premiere Pro.   I live in northeastern Illinois, approximately mid-way between Chicago and Milwaukee, and would be willing to travel to either city.

Telling someone that nobody else is having problems is a joke.  If people weren't having problems you wouldn't be seeing post like this to comment and the only thing Adobe people reply with is it's our workflow or computers.  The code is old and needs to be rebuilt from the ground up.  This isn't 1996 anymore so telling people they need to convert their 4k clips to 720 to be able to edit without problems is a joke.  IT'S 2019!  Ask the stockholders that love that subscription money how they will like it when we all move on to software that works.
