Yes, because we all know how terribly effective the UserVoice is for having our concerns promptly addressed.
4 years and nobody still answered. In the meantime i switched to davinci.
Hello everyone.I want to share a little bit the thoughts of their real project in terms of color correction of the material. Most recently, I was doing a project to advertise a product, and decided to paint it in Premiere. When using Premiere color correction tools, I applied the final LUT to fully balanced and matched frames and was just horrified at how it works. In one frame, my skin color was normal, in the second frame - yellow, in the third - green, in the fourth - red, and in places the color was dirty. I have not been able to straighten it to its normal state. I've been messing around for a very long time and I couldn't cope with Premiere color correction tools. Or rather, I was able to deduce the material, but not perfectly. And then DaVinci came to my rescue. In short, I am "very pleased". I won't touch the color correction in Premiere anymore from the word at all. Moreover, as I said on the forum, the Premiere color correction tools themselves do not work correctly. There is
Premiere is slowly falling apart ) It's sad that such mistakes happen. There are even scarier ones with which you will not be able to do the work. There are no words. Mod note: Post was branched to its own thread in the Video Lounge. The title was changed.
Honestly I've had it with this software. I've been using Premiere for simple tasks for over 8 years: Cut, Crossfade, & maybe warp stabilize a few clips. The constant errors, bugs, crashes is absolutely ridiculous. STOP adding more to your software and fix everything else first. I have lost so much TIME, MONEY (THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS), CLIENTS and STRESS because of your ridiculous failing software. And BTW i'm running this on an M1 MAX, fully loaded. And please dont tell me about my footage and sequence settings because I know what i'm doing. I hopped on DaVinci and currently having absolutely no problems.
Excuse me for my rough english, it's not my native language. I keep talking with Premiere's users and reading this forum and I see a common attitude towards user's problems —between users!— as if user's problems and confrontations with Premiere were mainly users'misuses. I think part of software design philosophy should be focused in finding solutions or alternative paths for the same goal. Last time I saw this was: people complaining about merged clips being unable to export correctly when making AAFs and OMFs. A simple little coding improvement would make Premiere eager to interpret merged clips while encoding AAFs and OMFs, but the focus between users is «you are doing it wrong». This happens with other problems, like resizing sequences using or not scale to frame, inexact syncing depending on using frame or audio unit, etc.... I wonder, because I don't know, what is the reason for this relationship Premiere has with users.
made an updated premiere pro memes tutorial if anyone's interestedhttps://youtu.be/ahh182BEhpM
Hi, turning video into animation, is adobe ready for this? [Moderator moved the thread to the correct forum]
Hi everyone, is there an app, a plug in or something to automatically edit my videos to high quality with pretty much a touch of a button?
In a world where "time" is a form of currency... The amount of "time" I have lost as a result of this bug, I feel like some form of discount/compensation should be due. Being that I'm locked into an annual membership to use this program, and am paying money each month, I'm curious where discounts come into consideration? If someone was being paid to create a project for a client, while using Premier... and the program constantly crashes due to internal bugs within the program... resulting in higher costs to the client. When do these financial loses become considered? Mod note: OT Post is branched and moved to the Video Lounge. Link added for context.
Hi.. wanted to find something in my apps that would help reduce video mp4 camera shake. I have the photography plan 20g but i am unable to fiind anything and i am unsure where to look. I went for help on the chat with a agent thing and was passed on to 3 agents before i was told by Mohammed that i was talking to accounts dept...never been so insulted. Any help would be appreciated Andrew.
@R Neil Haugen sadly, according to the link you posted, those forums are going away, like the After Effects one did, shortly after some influencers began badmouthing after effects, encoder, and premiere. I'm not sure if it's connected, but it is odd they're the only three that are going away. At the same time, Audition, a very old program that is arguably the least visibly worked on and used (I've never seen someone actively use it in a production besides cleaning up a clip here or there), remains. it's all very confusing and worrying that the places where users can communicate with the ones that make the programs are being removed.it suggests Adobe is considering sunsetting the software, or at the very least, is no longer open for development leads or bug fixes. As you said, these are user-to-user forums. Echo chambers, on the developer or user side, aren't exactly productive for maintaining a program or a trusting user base. Mod note: your post was moved to its thread. The
How to get Video Tutorial of Photo to drawings?By Artist with Spikey dreadlocks?
So, lots of people talking about Resolve and what the gains are for RTX4090; but every review that mentioned Premiere says there is no gains over 3090, and PP doesn't use the new features of the RTX 4090 line the dual encoders etc? Or AV1 native support even. Does anyone know what the plans are for Adobe? the Beta forum has not had much new stuff discussed at all. I can't understand how there is so much hype for Resolve and almost no discussions are PP on this video card.
Hi, Does anyone know where to find a good freelancer who knows Premier Pro? I'm using 2023 version and doing this myself, but really want to outsource it. I'm based in the UK. This is what I've done, so it needs to be this standard or better: https://vimeo.com/769815708/dd7da2c088 John Greene [personal info delete by mod]
I cut a single clip of 5 second 1080p video and export it as an animated gif. the file size rockets 20x to 233MBI re-import the gif, turn the quality down to the lowest setting, adjust the frame size down to 480p. there are now only 5 frames of grainy quality image. I export the file. It takes 8 minutes.I inspect the file. it is now 334MB.Why is premiere such complete garbage? What is your excuse for this?thanks.
Hi, Another noob question; So when I'm filming myself with the main camera on my phone (not the selfie cam), is there an app that will allow me to see what I'm filming without having to look at the phone screen itself? Because it's obviously not practical sometimes. So an app to mirror onto my other phone (the one I'm not filming with) or laptop?Hopefully everyone can understand the question that I'm asking 😕😕Cheers 🍻
adobe is all a scam. biggest mistake i ever made joining adobe. ive used premiere pro for 2 years and now that they have updated ot, they took away the version compatible with my macbook and now i have to pay another thousand pounds just to continue using premiere. you are thieves and scam
I was just wondering if this is being planned for Premiere Pro, as I notice many other NLE's are offering this choice. Is there any timeline foer this to happen. Pete
I need help in my studio in Orlando is there anybody local to guide me along with computer issues and Adobe fills- john tenuto
Hello fellow Premiere Pro users, I am part of the team behind developing ChonkerKeys. We are working on something new and we want to get your opinion. ChonkerKeys is a macropad where you can configure individual keys to send shortcut keys. The keys are also removable. We have a use case for video conferencing, but we are looking to make them more useful for other things.I am currently working out layouts for Premiere Pro and for general computing use. Here are some computer rendered layouts. Which ones do you think is most useful to you? Are we missing any shortcuts that you use most frequently? Any comments? We are aware the keys are big, but it is easier for you to press the big buttons when placed further away from your keyboard, right? These are not for sale yet - we just want your opinion. What do you think?
I tried searching the forums for an answer, but couldn't find anything in specific. So, is there a way to switch Premiere back to the previous interface when creating new projects from this idiotic new way that Adobe has implimented? This is literally the worst change I have experienced from Adobe in quite a long time.
And I was so happy with Adobe products...oh, say? For the last 35years??!!! Do I smell planned obsolescence? What's next? Dare we embed all Adobe Suite products with a well-placed UNIX-based timeout function? And the timeless "A"shaped logo morphs into an awkward "U", with the tagline..."Upgrade Or Die!" at the bottom. PS-with all the sheer brillance at Adobe, I wouldn't have thought 'backwards compatibility' a lynch pin. Why not just ask "Adobe Sensei" for a viable solution...I mean, if it comes to that. Much love Adobe and thanks for all the great software over the last half a century. I hear the cry of OpenSource in my future, I fear.
This picture, is a big women head floating on water, makes me feel very creepy,And like a colorful octopus, with human face...My co-workers also found this image horrible and they were reluctant to use pr 2023,i dont know why adobe chose it,and I really wish it could be replaced
I have an old Sony HDR-SR11 that produces .MTS files. Sometimes (not always, or perhaps sometimes not as noticeable?) the audio is out of sync with the video when brought into Premiere. I found i can re-encode with Handbrake to fix this. however, that's an extra step in a production process. I'm wondering if there is a better option for a camera that doesn't produce this issue? what should I be looking for to ensure PP can work w/o issue with the files a camera produces if i were to start shopping around? thanks!
