Hi, I've got a question about the use of the "highlight text" function To highlight text, I used to select the text and then use the "ctrl + alt + H" shortcut. But I noticed this sortcut is no longer available. I just managed to get the function back by selecting the tool via the "single key accelerator" and then select text. But I wonder if it was still possible to use the previous method. When I go on click and sign in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, it won't let me click on "sign yourself" or "request signature. Both phrases are light grey, rather than black, and can't be clicked on. It won't let me click on any of the boxes I need to sign. My preferences are set so that I can sign forms. What should I do?

HiI have a PDF file that needs a flash player to play some audio materials.I understand the Flash player has been discontinued but is there any other way to do this?I've attached a screenshot.Thanks 

I have summed boxes in one text box (text 13), and other boxes in another area (text 14). When I try to divide the first sum text box by the second sum text box I get an error in my t. See attached file.

I've reinstalled ADE several times while trying to open a library book I uninstalled it each time, no search brought up ADE after uninstalling  confused two copies show in the files  and both open the book 

When sending an attachment from within Acrobat Reader, the document attaches with no problem.  The message I write with the Outlook email disappears one I have hit send.Debbie

I use Acrobat Pro DC. I measured rooms on a blue print that did not have a scale ratio several weeks back. I had to set the scale ratio and precision when I originally completed the measurements. How do I recall what scale was used to measure those rooms originally? Thanks for any assistance!

On Adobe Acrobat Reader DC version 2021.011.20039, I keep getting this message "there was an error opening this document . Acrobat cannot open this file while printing another document". However I am not printing anything nor do i have any printing in a cue!   

I cannot install Adobe Acrobat Reader DC after installing Win11. In the installer link https://get.adobe.com/reader/?promoid=TTGWL47M (the Adobe Reader web installer), the message Adobe Acrobat Reader DC not installed appears. From the setup, I can't either, with the message "The File 'rdrservicesupdater.exe' is not market for installation".Would you know how to fix the problem? I have installed Adobe Flash Player 11 Active X on the system and only it.     

Hi, i have an old version of Acrobat Pro (and CS5) that I use once every two or three years, So no incentive to upgrade,However, I try to install the laters version of Acrobat Reader DC and it says it must deinstall my Acrobat Pro.I don't want that. I want the reader AND Acrobat Pro 9. (The Touch reader doesn't cut it for me.)Is it possible to install the new DC reader next to Acrobat pro 9, or do I have to look for a free reader from the competition (I hate those).I am on 64 bit W10.

Hi,We are having an issue were recently several members of our team are finding themselves unable to open password protected pdfs, constantly getting the "wrong password, check caps lock" error, even when we know they are using the correct password (and don't have caps lock on).  This is impacting at least 3 team members, 2 of which are using reader, 1 who has acrobat pro. It's occuring across multiple documents, which have all been created by external parties, not the users themselves.Other memebers of our team have been able to open these same documents using the same passwords without issue.I have watched the impacted users trying to open the docs, both by manually typing in the password and by copy-pasting, and they don't appear to be doing anything differently to the users who can open the docs. Everyone has the same security settings as far as I'm aware. Any ideas what might be going on here and how we can resolve? TIA!

I have to login to use Adobe Audition.  When iIopen Adobe Reader, it automatically signs me in to my Adobe account.  How do I disable this?  Thank you.

I have been editing the same document for years, and all of a sudden when I click Edit PDF, the fonts are all crazy.  I haven't changed the form or done anything different, what has happened? Did something change where all my fonts are gone? or has Adobe changed a setting?? It seems as though something as simple as a sentence in the same font, now has different fonts for a majority of the letters in that sentence, which should just be times roman. I am using Adobe Pro DC.

On my Windows 10 machine, I have set the default PDF application to Acrobat DC Pro. Each time I click a PDF file, it opens DC Pro. This works fine until I reboot my machine. At that point, the default PDF application switches to Acrobat DC Reader. So I change the default back to DC Pro, and again all is well until the next reboot.Any suggestions?

Hi, we use old pdf form which was livecycle extended to import and export data. As far as I remember we used LiveCycle to enable those features (import/export). Currently LiveCycle is not supported  and it is simply not possible to run old Flash ReaderExtensions web app (server side). Is there any Adobe product which is capable of enabling import and export data (xml) from/to to pdf forms?

At my company, we've received numerous calls from users that have issues when attempting to print. This does not always occur, but when it does:The user often receives the following error messages firstThe document could not be printedAn error occurred while printing the documentAttempting to print afterwards results in no progress bar and no print jobChanging the printer and printing SHOWS a progress bar, but no print jobClosing and reopening the PDF results in successful print job after attempting againThis is very sporadic and difficult to recreate. This has also occurred during the 3rd or 4th print of a single document that remained open as well. This is not linked to a single PDF file, printer, folder, etc. Additional Notes:All other applications work fine and never experience this issueWhile Adobe is experiencing the issue, all other applications print fineCurrently using Ricoh Universal Print Driver 4.18 PCL6 on all printersWe are updating to 4.21 PCL6 in a couple weeks to rule

I have a pdf document with a link to a local folder that works in Adobe Acrobat pro, but will not work in Acrobat Reader. Is it possible to put a link to a local folder, in a pdf document,  that contains multiple pdf files but with the ability to open in pdf reader?
