Hi everyone, I'm wirting on this page 'cause I'm despairing. Yesterday I was printing my huge writing in acrobat reader. (464 pages). I've chosen the booklet format in order to save as more pages as possible. Hence, since the total amount of pages was 464, the booklet format divides it into 4 parts (one paper sheet= 4 pdf pages, 2 on the front and 2 on the back)..then 464/4 = 116. It ends up I need 116 total pages to print it. While my printer was making a good job, a paper sheet suddenly got stuck in the middle of the mechanism and I was forced to stop the process. I thought it wasn't an arduous problem because I merely could start back from the last printed paper sheet in acrobat reader printing options. BUT here's the problem, since the last printed page was the 56th one, when I set the printing from 57th sheet to 116th one it starts back from the first page. Do you have any tips to give me in order to not start back the whole process? Thanks in advance to everyone.&

I am using Reader DC Ver. 2021.001.20150 and when trying to print a particular pdf file it cuases a printer error and causes a permanent loop where the printer restarts again, and so on ad-infinitum.My system is Windows 10 32 bit and browser is Chrome Version 90.0.4430.85 (32-bit. My printer is Brother HL-L3270CDW. I have downloaded this particular pdf file again and there is no difference. Acrobat has no problem printing any other pdf files I select in Windows Explorer. If I open the same pdf file with Chrome pdf extension the file prints without any problems. I have opened the same file with Sumatra PDF and it has no problems printing it out. I therefore conclude that the problem is specific to Acrobat Reader DC and is a definite bug.See screen grab of Printer driver in paused state.
I have been using Adobe Reader for many years to print out sheet music. My printing is typically a spurt of activity, and then several months, and then more printing. I mention this because I am not certain when the last time I have printed out some sheet music, but it was working fine at that time. Today I tried to print out some sheet music in booklet form. I have an Epson printer that handles 11 x 17 paper, so I print out my music in booklet form, on 11 x 17 paper. When I attempt to print music that exceeds 4 pages, I get the first leaf just fine. (The first physical sheet of 11 x 17 paper would be printed 2-up, double-sided. It would have the first & second pages, and the second-to-last & the last pages.) Then I get one additional sheet of blank 11 x 17 paper "printed" out. I can't print out a booklet. For a 5 - 8 page document, I can get the second page by specifying all the pages (which gives me the first physical s

I'm kind of a computer dummy, so please be patient with me. My installation of the free Adobe Acrobat Reader DC got interrupted. I tried to reinstall it and it gave me this message:To proceed, open your download folder and locate the Adobe Reader Installer file, named like “readerdc[xxx]_install.exe”.I found it but it was only a partial file and would not work. I deleted the file. I've cleaned my disks of temp files. I've rebooted my computer. I cannot find a file of any sort on my computer anywhere. But every time I attempt to install Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, I get the same message and cannot go any further.I cannot find help on this anywhere.WHAT DO I DO?????
I was trying to open a file this morning, and when a pop-menu asked what application I wanted to choose (from a list) to open it, I clicked on Adobe Reader - just as a guess. After that, just about all my desktop icons are Adobe icons, and when I click on them, the pop up menus says I can't access the file. These icons also show up on my menu of all my MS Office programs like Outlook, Word, Excel, etc. Tech support at Adobe recommended I use System Restore, but it also is now an Adobe icon, so I can't open it. If anyone can help reverse this, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks,David

If you wold like a copy for your records, please fill it in and print it."This form is used be many people who can all save the form. He cannot and I was able to replicate this on my own PC. If I open it in Acrobat Pro DC (version numbers same as Reader above) I have no problem saving the completed form.I connected to another user who is able to open the form, complete it and save it. Her version of Reader DC is the same as well as the Form plugin. When she opens the file she doesn't get the message about not being able to save but instead has one that the file opened in Protected view and provided a button toen
We are in the process of switching from Internet Explorer to Chrome as the default browser on all our workstations. One of the challenges we are facing is the integration of Chrome with our SharePoint environment. One of the issues is the possibility to open a pdf-file for commenting and/or signing while maintaining the connection with the SharePoint library it is in.A possible solution for this problem is provided by the Adobe Acrobat for Chrome, as described here: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/open-in-acrobat-reader-from-chrome.html. Initial tests prove that the functionality provided by the extension in combination with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is exactly what we are looking for. However, it only functions when Adobe Acrobat DC is installed through the website with admin-privileges, which is kind of a kerfuffle when it needs to be installed on 500+ workstations.I have been looking for a guide to help me install the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, including the extension for Chrome, in

Hi, I am using Acrobat Reader to search terms in monthly periodicals that have been scanned into pdfs. This is part of a larger project, and there are multiple people using Reader to search the same terms in the same pdfs. I am consistently coming up short of the number of terms that my search generates. My Reader is not detecting all terms. I have tested this, I will type in, for example, the word "arms." I will see it highlight one or two occurances of the word, but miss others. Is this a problem there is a solution to? Thank you, Mary
Hello, we have stored links in PDF documents. If you click on the link, a "start file" dialog appears because Acrobat does not consider the file to be trustworthy. How can you prevent the dialogue?
I bought a PDF version text book for school. EVERYWHERE throughout the document are annoying frames; border frames, page frames, column frames, etc. sometimes the boxes seem to have nothing to do with what is on the page. They are disruptive, distracting, and visually annoying. How do I remove or hide them? These are NOT text boxes or superimposed comment boxes. It is a 600+ page book and every single page has black page borders, column borders, and borders around "special content."
I'm using Reader X. When I arrow down in my search result set, I expect the result that is in focus to be highlighted in my document. That doesn't work as I would expect when I use RDP to connect to a Win7 machine. Here's how I can observe the correct behavior, when I use my local machine, which is running Win 7, SP1, and Adobe Reader 10.1.13.1) Open a document, such as PDF.PDF which I downloaded from the interwebs.2) Click Edit->Advanced Search.3) In the search window, search for a common phase such as "to" in the current doc.4) Single click to select the first search result. This causes the first instance of "to" to become highlighted in the current doc.5) CLICK THE DOWN ARROW to move to the second search result. Note that the second search result becomes highlighted in the search pane.EXPECTED and OBSERVED result: The second instance of the search term, "to", is highlighted in the document. This is the behavior I would expect. The behavior is different
