Adobe Community,Help me out here. I have a bazarre issue that has thrown every Adobe Support person for a loop so far.On some PDFs the text within is all screwed up, taking on all sorts of fonts and formatting and making documents very difficult to read. This issue doesnt seem to have a consistent trigger that I have been able to sus out. If the same file is opened on another computer from the same source it will look fine.I have attached two images for reference that illustrate the issue. When I save files that are glitched out it will cement the issue and the next recipient will see the same glitchy version of the file. Things that I have tried so far:Clean InstallUpdating OS and all driversWiping registry for all Adobe filesChanging all sorts of text related formatting preferencesManually deleting all Adobe files from all users on the PCLetting Adobe Support take remote control of the PC to troubleshoot for 2+ hours System Info:Lenovo X1 CarbonWindows 10 Pro: Build 19
We have been having issues with this issue for 3 days on all PC in our office. No updates or changes have happened that i'm aware of to cause it. When printing emails from the right-click quick print option in the context menu, or printing without actually opening the email up into its own window, using this tick box to print the attachments.we receive this error message. other file types work fine its just pdfs that dont. We are running office 2010 and reader version 11.0.8. updating to version 11.0.10 doesnt change any thing. It happens on windows 10 as well as windows 7 machines.working around the issue isnt an option as we need to be able to print multiple emails and their attachments without opening each one up individually.there are lots of examples of this happening ive found but non have solutions that work.
Ultimamente non si aggiorna Adobe reader e compare l'errore che allego .
Hi there,I'm a junior administrator at a small company and we're running into issues with a certain user when it comes to opening a file. There are some certificates involved but unfortunately, I cannot give much details as we're working with confidential documents and systems. My question is as I saw a lot of times that in order to receive help you need to provide the dump file to the support. Now I can obviously not do that and we're trying to figure out how to read the dump files ourselves but tbh, we're hitting a wall here.Currently we're using the WinDbg tool as we also have limitations on what tools we can use.The user's system is a windows 10, build 1909, Acrobat version is the newest one.Is there anyone who could maybe advise us on how to get the right info out of that?CheersA.
Hello, read the posts concerning save as not working. Disabled the "Show online storage when saving files" feature. Still could not save a pdf file on my pcI am using Adobe Reader DC version 20.013.20074.18474 on a windows 10 computer and Spanish Qwerty keyboardWhat am I missing? Why do things have to be so complicated for such a mundane task?
We are using Adobe Acrobat DC Reader and the applicable digital signatures. Is there a way to allow the pdf to be accessed by more than one person at the same time, if they need to sign a document? The process I am describing is for our internal use, and signing off on work done, so it could be possible that we require multiple signatures within our office. How do I open up the document to allow this to happen?Currently, the person signing needs to save it and close it, then the next person can open it and sign it etc. We don't want a new version of the document created with each person signing at the same time.
Fillable pdf Values are not displaying when we are opening In any browser.
I use Adobe reader via the Google Drive extension. Highlights that I make on my tablet are not reflected when I open the same file on PC or phone, they are not even reflected when I open the file from Google Drive direclty. Highlights are there on my tablets, but I can't view them on any other device. How to get highlights to sync across devices? Ideally I like to make highlights on my tablet (using Google Drive extension) and be able to view the same highlights when I open the file on my PC (also using Goolge Drive extension or whatever). Is there a solution for this? Thanks.
I have "Open documents as new tabs in the same window (requires relaunch)" enabled, but I am still seeing multiple windows in the task bar. What shall I do to see only one window in the task bar? I am using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (20.013.20074) on Windows 10.
Hello guys,So I am trying to copy paste simplified chinese characters into the search bar within adobe reader (basically I am comparing whether certain text in the pdf appears in another pdf file). Instead of getting the characters I get jibberish. I get the same result when I copy paste on word as well. Any help is appreciated thank you.
I use Reader to open PDF forms, fill in fields, and sign. Since the upgrade to Catalina and now Big Sur I haven't been able to print. I get around it by saving the PDF to a new file, open in Chrome, and print from there. My recent challenge with Big Sur is that the "fill" function isn't working. I press "Fill & Sign", get the insert bar, place it corectly on the form, click the mouse and instead of getting a flashing cursor I get some slightly grey verbiage "Type text here" that's pretty scrambled. I click again, and I get another faint "Type text here". I haven't found a way to actually type any text into a PDF form field since Big Sur. Any recommendations??
How can Adobe justify creating the technology for embedded video in PDF, so that many customers build their businesses around this format, then remove this format. It’s taking us back to the Dark Ages, and a HUGE denial of responsibility. Adobe please understand that this is a trust issue. We thought that Adobe had said they would enable a new media player within Reader once Flash was discontinued. Where is it?And what news of PDF 2.0?
I use 2 computers. Bought a new Computer & it only contains the PDF files that I save to that computer. Want to be able to view the same PDF's on both computers. What do I need to do to make that happen?
I have been working on the review of a document for the last 5 hours using the tools of Acrobat Reader DC on a Mac OSX. Saving time-to-time the document. In the last saving, I had an Error 109 and the document went blank (the body text disappeared) and eventually saved a blank document (zero bytes). The question is how do I recover my all-day work before I quit for good Adobe products. Thanks,
I have an iPhone, that's my first problem. I am in the military and there is a PDF I am trying to view on my phone, but it gives me the Error, "This form requires Adobe Acrobat Reader DC for Mac or Windows." I press okay and I am taken back to the main page. Why am I not able to open this document on my phone? Also, next to the document, where I can select to open it, there is a closed padlock next to it, I assume because it is Digitally signed. Is there a way to view this on my phone? Am I just out of luck with this particular document? Thanks for your time.
This is what the image looks like on some pages in a pdf. Text and images are faded, incomplete, etc. How is this problem solved? Sample picture: https://www.linkpicture.com/view.php?img=LPic5ffe69c03866b300691724

Hello,I created a fillable form that requires multiple users to fill out and sign on the same form. I learned that some users, who only have Adobe Reader, weren't able to fill out the form. They received this message The author of this form has specified the field which you can fill. Click on any field to start filling form and the Fill and Sign feature were missing most icons (including 'Add Text'). I know the work around solution is to Print to PDF but is there a long term solution to this? Thank you!
Hi, after resetting my laptop and re-installing Adobe Acrobat DC, I now get weird garbage text when clicking on the page (or highlighting, marking...) which disappears when scrolling. I updated drivers, deinstalled and reinstalled the software at least 5 times. No other pdf software seems to have this issue, only Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Acrobat DC. Im confusedKatharina
I created a form with LiveCycle with signature field, then in Adobe Acrobat saved with option "Reader Extended PDF". This allows opening in Acrobat Reader and fill in text fields and save document. Problem is that nothing happens when clicking signature field.

Hello all, I have a printer that only prints one side at a time. Usually, when I want to print documents double-sided, I just print all the odd pages first, take the stack, put it back in the printer and print the even sides (I am sure this is a common practice) For this specific document that I want to print, I need to print 2 pages per sheet. I realize I can use the "Multiple" feature under print settings. However, when I try to select all the odd pages in the range, it completely messes up the format. Does anyone have any way I can print 2 pages per sheet, and print all the even sheets (to ultimately make it double-sided)? TLDR: Using a single-sided printer to make a double-sided document with 2 pages per sheet
