I have a dozen PCs that cannot print PDFs from any brower and it seems to be spreading as updates are installed.  The print dialogue box doesnt come up.  I have attempted to uninstall/reinstall Reader with no luck.  Any ideas on how to fix this?

We have one workstation running Windows 10 20H2 and the latest version of Reader (20.013.20074).  Beginning with this update we are seeing extremely long startup times for Reader when opening PDF files and when we close the PDF files the process stays open in the background for several minutes.  We have uninstalled using the cleaner/removal tool and reinstall fresh but the problem remains.  We have also cleared all appdata and preferences.  Finally we are currently operating without enhanced security mode or protected mode enabled.  Is anyone else seeing this behavior? 

why do i have to double tap stylus when i draw a signature? it works perfect in other applications? must be  a setting i can turn off, or to single touch and sign?

When attemping to use a digital signature (using CERTIFICATIONS, not Fill and Sign), the final page where you click "Sign" it does nothing. We use the Windows Certificate Store so it uses our LDAP system to validate credentials. Ive tried:Uninstalling and reinstalling the newest version of Adobe ReaderDeleting the Digital ID, and recreating it. Turning off "Enable Protected Mode at Startup" under Security (Enhanced)I have tried everything in all of these support pages that i can find as well. It DOES sign if you use the normal PKCS#12 Digital ID file, but Windows Certificate Store does not. I am able to 100% recreate this on every computer that uses adobe readerDoesnt matter what PDF file it is, it does not work.  Using my Administrator account on Acrobat pro DC, I AM able to digitally sign, using the way above with zero issues. We have been using adobe reader to do this for years and now all of a sudden it no longer works. I am trying to print documents within a program and the tool bar with the print icon will come up, but it will not print.  I go to the adobe icon and put it in the reader, and try to print from there, but it will not print.  I have checked toolbars and extensions in Internet Explorer and Chome and they are both on. Please help!

Dear Adobe Support Community, I am failing to open PDF files with Adode Acrobat Reader DC (currently using version 20.013.20074).The PDF files are stored on an alfresco server with AOS (Alfresco Office Services). When I try to open a file from alfresco I get prompted for username and password. If I click ok then I get this error:"The URL you have provided could not be reached. Please verify that the URL is correct and that the network location is reachable."However, if I click cancel the PDF file open just fine. What can I do to fix this issue? Is it possible to disable the authentication?

Hello, when I log into my adobe reader account, it says I need to renew my subscription, which is not true - I have an automatic annual renewal set up. I am as a result unable to use adobe. Please can you assist. Many thanks

I bought AdobePDF Version 12 years ago, it doesn't work after the system of my computer was reinstalled. The online service Kathy checked and informed me no technical support for that product, so I need to ask for help in the forum. Seems it's complicated now. Good luck, me.  

Hi All, I am trying to create a pdf file to open links to other files on my windows surface pro 2 tablet (2-in-1 pc). I created an excel file on my laptop, with links to other pdf or jpegs. I am saving the excel as a pdf, and the links are working perfectly from the pdf. When I copy them to my surface pro 2, only the excel recognizes and opens the files.The links in the pdf are no longer clickable.  The only difference I see is that I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC on my laptop, and Adobe Reader Touch on my windows surface pro 2 tablet. Could this be the reason?I don't have the Acrobat pro available on my surface pro... Both my laptop and my surface pro 2 are running on windows 10. Any other suggestions or help would be helpfull, because I am stuck now. Thank you!!Vincent

Whenever I open PDF files the Comment tool bar opens up.  this only started happening recently with files I've been using for years that this has never been an issue with. This is driving me crazy, I cant find a way to turn this off and this support community seems to be the only place that I can voice my concerns?I just want the files to open without the comment tool bar popping up every damn time. Thank you. 

The Adobe Acrobat Reader DC stopped working after I tried to open a downloaded pdf file. I uninstalled the application and used Acrobat Cleaner to be sure, downloaded Adobe Acrobat Reader DC from Adobe website and I still get the message "Application Adobe Acrobat Reader DC can't be opened" when I click on a pdf file or when I try to open the application itself. I am using a Mac OS 10.13.6 (High Sierra). I downloaded Acrobat Reader Pro and it works but I prefer to use Adobe Acrobat Reader DC because it's free and I don't need the features of the Pro version. Why the Acrobat Reader DC won't open on my computer?

I can't currently used the Adobe Acrobat Reader app on my Mac because as soon as I open it a pop up appears for the adobe reader chrome extension and then everything freezes. The only option I have is to force quite the app. I uninstalled and installed Reader and still the pop up appears immediately. What can I do?! I can't be only one getting this pop up that freezes everything?

How can I change text color in the entire PDF document directly (not just in one page)?

I have downloaded Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and the PDF printer did not show on printer list.  I attempted the remedial action but Documents*/.pdf Adobe PDF printer port was not available either.  How do I get the PDF Printer to install??? 

I run dual monitors. Everytime I open Acrobat Reader, it opens on my primary monitor. I move it to the secondary monitor. Then, if I close and reopen Acrobat, it opens again on the primary. I would like it to only open and stay on the secondary monitor. I have tried to minimize and maximize Acrobat. Nothing seems to work. Frustrating. Can anyone help?

Hi, seit dem Windows 10 Funktionsupdate 2004 ist es nicht mehr möglich, im Internetexplorer geöffnete PDF-Dateien auszudrucken. Das Speichern und anschließende Drucken ist möglich, aber zu umständlich, weil zu aufwändig. Dies betrifft anscheinend nur den PDF-Reader von Adobe, andere Reader (z.B. Foxit-Reader) haben dieses Problem nicht.Ist dieses Problem bekannt, und wenn ja: gibt es eine Möglichkeit, das Problem zu lösen?

I am suddently unable to open PDF documents after I have saved them using Windows 10. I have uninstalled and re-installed Acrobat Reader DC several times to no avail.  I can save MS Word to PDF, open a PDF attachment from an email in my browser (Chrome) but once I save it to my laptop it cannot be opened. Help please!!! Michelle.

Hi,  I am taking part in a course to where i have to completed an editable pdf document for assigments and send to tutor with updates. Recently I completed my latest assignment and sent over to the tutor who was able to open as normal and it was showing as editable. However he saves to my student folder on his system and then tried to open to mark my work and he recieves the below message:This document enabled extended featuress in Adobe Acrobat Reader. The document has been changed since it was created and use of extended features is no longer available. Please contact the author for the original version of this document. So all the tutor does is open the docucment from the e-mail and then save as - to the folder required. He hasnt had this before with my document and has also recieved documents from other students without any issues as he normally does. Now this has not happened before and both of us have not changed anything system wise. Can someon

Hello all, To quickly explain the protected mode has been an issue for us not allowing our users to do a save but forcing a save as all the time. Disabling this protected mode allows us to have them click save but of course closing Adobe reader and clicking save on exit also still forces a save as instead of a save (like any other app) With that we have found the registry keys to add to the adobe customization wizard to disable this and the app container. What I am looking for is a way to deploy this using the same Adobe version. Ex: we already have the latest version in our environment and it wont reinstall and add the registry keys, it needs to be a fresh install for it to add the keys.Is there a way to force the reinstall for it to add the keys?And no I dont want to create GPO's for this right now, I want it done the right way through the customization of the app. ThanksSheldon

Hallo,ich brauche eine Lösung für folgendes Problem:Ich möchte eine bearbeitbare PDF-Formular erstellen mit derm es möglich ist die spezifische Daten aus dem Formular in spezifische Zelle automatisch zu übernehmen. D.h. das durch wenig Knopfdrücke beispielsweise immer Daten wie Adresse oder Name aus dem Formular in der entsprechende Zelle der Excell-Tabelle landen ohne dass händisch oder mit strg+V nachgearebitet werden muss.

I just completed a chat with an Adobe Acrobat Reader person from TECH SUPPORT.  The tech person said I could download Adobe on a Window 10 PC running in Safe Mode.  The follwing answer is for anyone that needs FYI whether it is for community or individual.ANSWER :  NO.You have to download Adobe through the Microsoft Store,  if you are running a Windows OS in SAFE MODE!
