I believe this belongs in this forum. We have created a form for potential applicants to fill out and email back to us. Most of the time it works flawlessy. Sometimes though, we get the form back and it appears that it hasn't been filled out at all. This all happens while loading it through Acrobat Reader DC. Today, I just realized that if I open it in Edge, I can read this previously "unfilled" documents. I then tested with Chrome and Firefox...both readable. Why would I not be able to view the filled out fields on Acrobat Reader, but I can in a web browser?

Hi guys,One user in my company is having this issue, she can open XFA files from a government website and Chrome asks constantly to use Adobe Reader version 8 or later in Chrome, the thing is that it has the 15th version installed but is still not working, it opens in the desktop version, but it's require to use the web version since she can attach files to it and send it directly back to that specific web site. 

I want to be able to use the comment tools to highlight text and underscore etc without having the comment list on the right side of the screen, since it takes up alot of space. Problem is even if I hide the comment list, every time I choose one of the comment tools on the top of the screen the comment list on the right side automatically expands.How can I permanantly close the list but still be able to use the tools?

When I try to print legal sized pages the first page comes out fine, then all the subsequent pages start about 1/4 of the way down the page and cut off the bottom.  The only way to get a multi page document to print correctly is to print each page as its own, individual job.  This is a huge time suck.  After spending hours on the phone with HP tech support, they say it is a common problem with the Mac OS trying to print pdfs. Is there a patch or a fix for things?

Hi,  I tried exporting a PDF into a Word-document to use it as a frame for letters, it didnt export the embedded fonts. It just replaced them with Arial and the sizes are not exactly right either. The fonts are Word fonts asw ell (Roboto, Roboto Condensed), so I dont understand what the problem may be?Help!Thanks, Marie 

Advice please.  I recently bought a new desktop computer with Windows 10 (an upgrade from a 10-year old Windows 7 device).  Love the new machine, but I'm no longer able to use Windows File Explorer to open a folder, left-mouse to highlight a file, then right click to print it.  The print option is not even listed.   I downloaded Adobe Reader DC and rebooted, but the problem still lingers. Advice for  NON-TECH user?

I want to uninstall all adobe apps and products from my mac but whenever i try to do so, it tells me there is software using the apps so it won't uninstall. However, I don't know what is using adobe products, and I don't know how to stop them from doing so. Can anyone help? I've had a horrible experience with adobe and no one at the company seems to be reachable to help. 

Hello. I saved an illustrator file as a PDF. It's the only copy I saved. After I closed the program, I tried to open the file in adobe acrobat pro and its giving me the following message: "There was an error opening this document. There was a problem reading this document (109)". The file is about 170 MG and I don't have any other copies of it. I updated adobe acrobat and it still did not work, is there a way to fix this issue?Thank you. 

I am writing a book and need to upload the cover. Need to change Adobe Reader page size to 12.687" x 9.25" and cannot find how to change the size on which to print my cover as .pdf. 

Hi guys, in order to install Big Sur I had to make a ton of space on my computer and deleted Adobe PDF because it was taking up almost half a GB of space and I figured I could reinstall it after completing the software update. Now here it says that "Acrobat Reader DC, Acrobat DC, Acrobat 2020, and Acrobat 2017 are compatible with macOS Big Sur (version 11)", but I can't seem to install it at all (which is also not surprising because here it doesn't actually give you the app for big Sur). Ive tried installing the latest versions but they always get stuck on "Running package scripts...".  Any ideas or workarounds? I reaally need to use Adobe PDF for university, as they use FileOpen to encrypt the files and I have no other way of opening these files (the FileOpen app for iPad has not been working since September either) that I desperately need for my coursework. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

When I use fill&sign to add text on a form, an up-to-date Adobe Acrobat Reader DC on a Windows 10 64-bit uses two different types of fonts. If my text contains Turkish characters, a Times New Roman style font is used. If my text has no Turkish characters, then an Arial style font is used. This issue has been there for quite a while, but it was never fixed. I experienced it at multiple computers. As a result, I have two different styles of text in a form entry based on the text. See the attached screen shots below with an entry with Turkish ı character and an entry with regular Western i character.  Does anybody know a way to fix this? Koray

I have a situation where deposits are received in both USD and KRW, and there are both "USDCurrency" fields and "KRWCurrency" fields (set with currency symbol) under the description column immediately below the field where the desosit source is identified.  An entry is made in either the USDCurrency field or KRWCurrency field, but never both (one always remains blank).  However, the voucher has multiple line items, and there's a separate subtotal column on the form with "SubAmount" fields (i.e SubAmount1, SubAmount2, etc.). Is there a way to export the results entered either into USDCurrency field or KRWCurrency field to a single "SubAmount" field AND display the corresponding currency symbol?  USD field has decimal point and KRW field does not. Additionally, can the "SubAmount" field that displays those results be formatted to allow the exported results be modified (i.e. not changing currency symbol, but amount of currency - for example, being able to change $

Can I track when someone opens my PDF file when it has been downloaded. I know that some softwares allow tracking when, the IP address, the time spent in each page... but this is when the file is opened in their viewer. Is there a DRM software, cookie, script (JavaScript) or any other mean to track when a PDF which has been downloaded to a local computer has been opened later on by the downloader? The files are opened in a normal PDF viewer like Adobe or Microsoft Edge and don't require a password. Given two scenarios, first, the user is connected to the internet, wifi, and the user is not connected.

Hello Adobe!I have been overcharged by Adobe and cannot speak with anyone! May 22, charged 103.68, May 23, a refund of 23.94 occurred, July 14, 2018, charged $38.23, August 5th, refunded 37.74, August 16th, charged 106.71. So I am not sure why Adobe makes charges to my credit card and then credits back. According to my statements, I have been charged twice, May 22nd, 103.68 and then again on august 16th, 106.71.Adobe has my credit card information on file, it seems. Please refund my money! Hello,We have problems to print PDFs using the Acrobat Reader on a Citrix VDI. It always crashes after the first print by using the printing option in the context menu (clicking a file by the left mouse key). We tried your suggestions to enable/disable the secure mode but it didn't helped. We are only using network shared printers with share names. We updated to 2020.013.20066 today but i can't see it until toworrow. I would like to know if it's possible to downgrade at all because i tried the downloads of your suggestioned link: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/release-note/release-notes-acrobat-reader.htmlThese files doesn't work with the current higher version, so how to do it? Best regards
