I have link and serial number for Acrobat X installation, but serial number is not accepted.

The app seems to want me to upgrade from an earlier version of Acrobat, which I don't have.  I'm not upgrading, I'm installing for the first time.  How can I get past this?

Hi - thanks for your reply.  I finally got on chat with Adobe and was able to get it resolved.  I was getting an error message something like that, but first it wanted me to choose which Adobe Acrobat I already had, but I had no Acrobat installed, and that was not one of the choices.
