when I installed the Acrobat 9 pro on my Mac, I received a message says ' install is damaged and can't be open, you should eject the disk image." Any suggestions?

What's your OS version? Acrobat 9 is quite old and not compatible with current operating systems. You will need to purchase the current version of Acrobat (called DC) if you want to install it on something like El Capitan.
