I'm designing a character select screen for a video game and I've prototyped it so that each character portrait grows to a bigger size when hovered over, just like the thumbnails on Netflix (web, not mobile). However, due to the layer system, the expanded/hovered thumbnails sometimes overlap or underlap other thumbnails. Is there any way around this? Or rather, is there any way to successfully replicate Netfllix's web-based thumbnail design in Adobe XD's current state? Thanks for reading. 

Is there a small chance that Adobe will finally include all the options for text editing like Illustrator? It's really necessary and the plugin justify it! doesn't work at all

I'm using XD 54.1.12 version and I'm using an xbox controller to prototype.Nothing happens when I try to bind a key to an interaction. The gamepad is working fine on other applications and I am able to bind the keyboard to the interactions, but not the gamepad keys. I've been searching for a solution for hours now and I simply didn't find any, so any help is appreciated.I saw similar topics opened (and solved) about a year ago, but this is happening today, that's why I'm opening a new topic.

I am using Adobe XD to present a prototype on an ipad. I want to share the prototype with my sales crew, and let them demo it as a presentation with interactivity. However - my sales crew cannot be online or connected to the internet, since there is no wifi while demonstrating the prototype. How can they save my prototype to their own ipad, and present from there? 

We are having an issue where when we share a prototype link with a client the entire experience lags and they are unable to view it. We have had to resort to PDFs and PNGs that fail to show the experience we have designed. This does not seem to be a problem with the software, but rather the shared experience XD offers.

This Garden of Earthly Delights interactive was made with something eventually called Micrio:https://archief.ntr.nl/tuinderlusten/en.html I would like to find out if this can be replicated with Adobe products. Must include pan/zoom of large image, annotations and positional audio. Micrio is too expensive just to have it on my own site; there must be another way to accomplish this.

Hallo zusammen, Hallo Adobe!Enrweder ich übersehe etwas, rechne etwas falsch oder Adobe gibt hier falsche Werte an?Folgendes Problem:Wenn ich alle Größen der letzten Pixel-Phones durch 3 rechne, komme ich immer auf das richtige Seitenverhältnis der Hersteller und auch auf die richtige Pixelangabe der Hersteller. Wenn ich jedoch die von Adobe angegebene Größe von 412 und 778 mal 3 rechne, lautet das Ergebnis 1236 x 2388 und das Verhätnis somit 10,3 : 19,9. Die Angaben von Google lauten jedoch: Seitenverhältnis: 20 : 9 und eine Auflösung von 1080 × 2400 mit 411 ppi. Die einzigen Phones welche ich mit dieser Breite finden konnte sind 3 Huawai Phones und kein einziges Pixel. Wie kommt ihr (Adobe) auf diese Größe? Die anderen Größen habe ich nur grob nach meiner Rechnung geprüft, aber auch da sind ?falsche? Werte gegenüber der Hersteller.Als wäre das mit dips nicht schon kompliziert genug, gibt Adobe hier auf die Verwirrung noch einen drauf.Ich würde gern hoffen, dass ich etwas falsch

The auto-named characters generated under mac system are displayed as garbled code in windows.

When filtering and creating sub-directories within Adobe XD's component library panel using the windows version-- the process is not filtering and instead seems to duplicate everything and inserts it into the new sub-directory name.Please see the attachment to this post. I have highlighted the components that were added to my new component subdirectory even though there were never selected after I filtered for components with "ico" in their name. Has anyone else encountered this issue and/or have a solution? 

Hi,I have a creative cloud account, that should include XD!! However, when I log into the creative cloud account XD isn't listed under 'available in your plan, but is listed under the 'apps to try' and only has a 'Try or Buy' option rather than a 'download' button?  How do I contact Adobe Customer Service - it seems impossible!?

I am following a tutorial here  https://www.adobe.com/products/xd/learn/design/layout/design-prototype-website-adobexd.html  that has shown me how to set up and use the Padding feature.  However, when I do the steps (video 2 around 2:10) I get nothing.  There is no response to me typing different sizes of texts, so it is just like this function is nonexistent.  I have searched and searched to try and find an answer for why this feature won't work, but have found nothing on my searches.  I have also uninstalled and reinstalled my program, and it still doesn't work.  Can someone please help me find out what is wrong with my XD program so that I can get this feature working properly?

Hey, for some reason XD won't allow me change the height/width of a text field anymore. When accessing previous project's text fields, i can normally resize these existing text fields but not the new ones. It's funny and very frustrating.

Hi,Adobe XD crashed so I exited out of the file when I went to reopen all the screens are blank, see image below. When I click on the flow to see the prototype , the link works fine and shows the designs that had been on the screen. can anyone tell me what I can do to retrieve the designs back on the main screens.

I am working on my first project for a course I am doing. I am having problems with prototyping components.I have created a component with different states (it's a collapsed/open menu). My aim was to highlight the menu entris when hovering over them (on the open state). So I have added for each entry a semibold entry, with appeareance set at 0% and a regular entry with appearance set at 100% on the Default state. I have created a "menu open" state, and a "selected entry" state, in which the appearance of the entry was set to show the bold one only.When prototyping I added the trigger "hover" on the entry "dog" with destination "state selected"I have tried to prototype directly the main component and the instance in the artboard but the result is the same; the "bold" state when hovering on the menu entry is not displayed. I have tried everything I co

My team is creating a master component library that is plateform driven. Example: We create a master component library for salesforce commerce cloud. The library is generic, but the layouts are defined. A designer links to the salesforce file and from there can make all the components localized to their project. The goal is that the team can link to the master link asset file and overright the components it for their individual clients this way the generic file remains unaltered yet the team has the guidelines to design. But we found out that you cannot create local components in this case. If you right click the components all of them says Edit Master Component and Highlight on Canvas. Delete and Make Local component are missing. Why are the options create local component and delete missing? Why do they only appear if a component is copied into the file? Is my team going to have to copy components just so they can be localized? Please help. I don't understand. The only

Hey gurrl HEY! I'm trying to make a cross platform app Adobe XD for protyping. Question: If I want both an Android and iOS version of the app, do I need to create separate Adobe XD files using to separate sets of UI elements repsectively? Or can I just use iOS UIelements and have them work on Android as well? (or vice versa?)

Boa tarde a todos! Estou desenvolvendo o design de um aplicativo para celular. E mesmo ativando a opção para layout responsivo nas telas ainda ocorrem problemas. Em alguns celulares as telas não ficam em modo cheio (aparecem faixas brancas nas laterais) ou o menu que deveria estar fixado na parte inferior da tela não aparece, só aparece no fim da rolagem.Alguém sabe qual poderia ser o problema ou se existe algum outro recurso que deve ser ativado? Agradeço desde já,Micheli Leite

Each time I export my design as a PNG the title is "Web 1920 – 1.png" Is there a quick way to export/save as and change the file name??

I recently discovered an issue with Adobe XD that pertains to files that are saved to the local hard drive (to be clear, this is NOT an issue with files saved to the cloud).The Issue: If the ".xd" file is saved in a folder that uses the question mark character (?) in its name, then Adobe XD will report the error "The document "your-document-name.xd" could not be opened. XD cannot open files in the "folder" format."The Solution: This issue is easily resolved if you rename any "offending" folder name replacing the "?" character(s) with another "valid" character.Notes:- After I found the solution, I tested several other "special" characters in folder names, but my testing did not reveal any other characters that resulted in the error mentioned above. I certainly didn't test every "special" character, so there may be other characters that cause this issue.- It may be important to mention that I experienced this issue using Mac OS. I have not tested to see if this issue can be duplicated on
