Hello, when I share a color between illustrator and XD, I need to make it local in XD (then I lose the link) to be able to modify the color reference in XD, in order to define an opacity value. Because, from Illustrator, I can just share a color or a graphic, while in XD, the color asset contains also an opacity value modify color in library from illustrator open this windowwhile same action in XD is impossible unless I turn the color reference "local"Then, I can modify the asset, and it opens a window like this As you can see, in XD, opacity is available. But link is dead… So, I tried to be more subtle…instead of applying fill color and default opacity (object), I went to the appearance panel in Illustrator to set opacity on fill parameter, and set the default one (object's scale) to 100% Nope… Illustrator uploads the color value only, not the opacity… then XD, only gets the color parameters. It would be a nice update !Best,  

I have a comp, a flow, a document, that I've shared and collected and discussed the feedback with the client.    Now long after the fact, one of the client is going in and making new comments, just because they can.    Is it possible for me to close the comments without losing those old comments? Just lock it from future comments? I don't immediately see a way... how is everyone handling this?   <Title renamed by moderator>

Adobe XD does not allow 2 or more user editing one document at a time.  I am unsure why this is happening like my team and I is unable to edit the document that was shared with us. This happens after updating to the newest version. I hope this get fixed as soon as possible. Thanks.

Everytime I open an xd link, the comment section and the onboarding feature open ... It's super anoying because I have to close then everytime. Is there a way to stop that ? ? ? Thanks in advance    <Title renamed by moderator>

My SSD disk writes data in terabytes, although no heavy files are open in Adobe programs. Sometimes I open Adobe XD without any open files at all and I see that the disk is writing a lot of data measured in terabytes. Often I see that I have an Adobe program open and even the mouse cursor freezes me.

In XD, when I try to create a share link, I get the error "You're disconnected. Check your internet connection and try again". But I have internet connection. This only started happening and it is very frustrating. Does someone know why?   <Title renamed by moderator>

Hello, I just tried to do a migration of my cloud documents from my school account to a personal account as I will be losing access after graduation.    But after the migration all my files are missing from BOTH accounts. We have a design system distributed as a library - and in the source file all text elements in the components has character styles applied. But when we use theese components in other documents, the character style no longer is applied and you have to go over each text element again and define the character style from the shared library. Otherwise the development link makes no sense at hand-off. I´m pretty sure this has worked before, and now it creates an extreme amount of extra work.Are someone else experiencing this? 

Hi,   I have a problem with pinned comments in any prototype I open in my XD. I frequently do webpage designs and clients usually leave their comments on my prototype. But, since every page is longer than a computer screen height, I always make it scrollable and the problem comes when a client leave a pinned comment somewhere on the page. Whether it is on the very top or somewhere in the middle of the entire prototype page, all comment pins are already shown on my screen when I open the prototype. When I want to scroll down the page, all the pins stay fixed on the exactly posidion of my screen, as they were when I opened the page. That could be very frustacting problem, because if I have for example 10 pinned comments, I cannot see on which section of the page some comment is reffering to. When I click on any comment from the right, in order to see will it drop me on the exactly place of the page where the comment belong, it never happens.   Please if anyone knows how to help

Ich kann keine Bilder (png, jpg, bmp usw) via Drag & Drop vom Rechner (Festplatte) in XD einfügen. Egal ob auf Freifläche, Form oder Komponentenspalte. Einzig alleine durch importieren ist es möglich Bilder einzufügen.XD wurde auch schon deinstalliert und wieder neuinstalliert...keine Hilfe.Kennt jemand das Problem bzw kann mir helfen?

Hello,I've downloaded the iOS 15 Production Template for Adobe Xd to design an app icon.Is there any piece of documentation somewhere I could use to understand how I should use the Xd template ?If I insert a shape in the main "App Store Icon" group, I can see that the shape is automatically reproduced in the other groups, but the ratio is not respected.Does it mean I have to manually update the icon contents for all sizes ? Or is there a mecanism I should learn in order to that properly ? Thanks for any advice,loic.b

Can Adobe XD freeze a grouping inside a scroll group? I noticed that the option only come up on header and footer goupongs. Am I missing something? If I put the grouping outside the scroll group then I would lose its component association. Please advise. Thank you.

Hello, I can't use XD anymore, because it systematically opens on a black screen whatever the imported file is. The files are visible in thumbnails. I reinstalled and it still does the same thing.  thank's for your help !   <Title renamed by moderator>

I got the invitation link through email for my new project. However, with the correct Adobe log-in email account, I cannot access the file no matter ho how many times I tried and all the other emails I have tried.    Does anyone have a clue what could be the reason? HiI am attempting to achieve an export of an artboard, into html/css that can be used in an email.Currently i've tried the plugin Web Export, which can export to web with html/css/js.However while the exported document works well in a browser it doesn't work well when the html/css markup is used in an email. In my debugging i used mailchimp tool for converting css styles that are not inline in the document to be inline on the element, as i've understood alot of email clients doesnt support <style> tag, and therefore css needs to be inline.This still does not work, it seems as if the CSS styling is only partially applied. Some text, fonts etc have the right sizes, fonts, boldness etc. But alot of margin's, padding's and such are not working. It is also my understanding through reasearch that the inline CSS is interpreted differently by the different email clients (i am used outlook to test).    So I am trying to find a solution to this problem. Hello, I just saw in my latest document that all the elements are moved.One month ago I put all the elements with an 8 px or 16 px apart between each element and today I just found, that everywhere now are random numbers such as 7, 13, etc. I'm really sure that I didn't move anything in that artboard because I save every week a different document, so that's why I could track it until one month. Every document has a different space between elements: for example, one is 6 in another document the same element has 7. So today I spent 3 hours trying to put everything as it was before, But I don't know why is happening this and if it will happen when I save a new version.

So since I don't always want to save changes I make to a document and XD does always save documents without warning or permission I'm looking for a way to recover documents XD has save over against my wishes.    Is there a way? As a design team we are working with a shared design system library across multiple files, and this has been working great for the last 3 months. (I am not the owner of the shared library).Unfortunately, last Wednesday my library disappeared from XD, strangely I can see it within my assets.adobe.com but it is not displaying within My Library within XD. When I try to add the library it does not appear under ‘All Librarys’ only my personal one is now displaying. It was displaying fine with the Link icon next to it previously. I have tried a few solutions since then including, signing out and back in again, uninstalling XD and even uninstalling Adobe CC but the problem persists. Any help or advice on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. 

Libraries won't show up in XD. I used the CC cleaner to clean the libraries. It acts like it's working but the Libraries folder in my appdata directory. When I try to manually delete the folder, it says that I need permission - even though I'm doing it as an administrator and the permissions look fine.Then when I try to install the CC Library installer, it just stalls at 81%.   {Mod Note: Moving from the Creative Cloud Service board to XD}   <Title renamed by moderator>

After new update of adobe XD on windows PC, My CPU utilization is at 100% most of the times. This freezes my PC and make it unusable. I have to kill and restart XD every 20 minutes which is very frustrating.   Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6600U CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.80 GHz Ram  6.0 GB (15.8 GB usable OS version Windows 10 Pro   <Title renamed by moderator>
