Questions

After updating to version 34.1.12, all of my files that I was previously working on are no longer responsive. I am able to start new files smoothly but all of my old files constantly freeze up and cause the app to crash. I have months worth of work on these files that I now cannot edit or even copy paste to a new file due to this. How can I either edit these files without it crashing or copy the artboards from these into a new and functional XD file? 

MY ADOBE XD MAKES MY LAPTOP FREEZES ESPECIALLY WHEN I AM OPENING DOWNLOADED UI KITS. I HAVE CORE I5 SECOND GEN WITH 4GB RAM WINDOWS 10.

Hey, the following videos shows an issue where i can't open the main compont source project anymore.i'm able to open the file if i come from the creative cloud app.I am on windows version 34.1.12.9, Creative Cloud Sync 4.3.60.8 

I have a Creative Cloud subscription for all applications. A client for whom I am building several web tools would like to adjust my drafts in several Adobe XD documents (more than one). My client would like to work without an additional subscription-fees. The XD Starter Plan would be free of charge for my client, but is limited to one document / one shared link during co-editing.My Question:Can I as a creative cloud subscriber share several XD documents (more than one) to my client for editing without any time limitations? I just want to make sure, that our projects - some of than will take more than one year - can be edited by my client without any surprises.Thanks for your help.

How do I open a local file? What the heck. I must be blind. I'm in XD 31. On launch I see Cloud Documents, Shared with you, Deleted, and then a section for Recent. But the file I want is not recent, and there is no "open file" button on the UI. So I went to File > Open and it brings up a modal which has Recent, Cloud, Shared with you again. Where the heck is "open file" so I can open something I created on my machine? I must be missing something or this is an egregious error. How is this possible to be missing an "open file" dialogue? Help!

Hello, I have a button as a master component with different states. Now I have copied it/duplicated and changed the label and changed the width of the button in the "default" state. But in the rest of the states(hover, clicked, disabled) of the button, the label and the size will not change. And we have to be careful in manually matching/adjusting the size and text of the button with the default one. Please help me with this. Regards, Dinesh   {Renamed By MOD}

As the subject states, with the advent of component libraries in XD, I can no longer "Edit Main in Source Document". Doing so will begin the process of opening the source document. However, once the opening progress bar reaches the end (presumably completion), the interface locks and the only way to close the window is to end task in Task Manager. OS - Windows 10 Pro (Build 19041.572)XD - "Up to date" no known way to determine build info

Hi,I have been experiencing this weird glich that is,the preview mode shows the artboard color dark and simply does not pick any other color.Also the prototyping animation option chooses dissolve as default and doesnot allow me to select others.XD crashes way way too much.Please consider these issues to resolve. Thanks

Hello, I want to request something very simple. When I lock a layer in Adobe XD, the purpose of locking is also that I can be able to move and select all the elements behind that layer. If I have a big overlay on top of my layout, I want to edit the content behind it, but all I can select is that locked layer. It makes my work process really slow because I have to find that layer in the hierarchy, make it invisible, edit, then come back to make it visible. Does it make sense?

Updates for all the CC apps are getting failed after 5 or 8% and i do not get any error code, please suggest the solution......

Impossible to install plugins in XD. (PC Windows 10)i spent more than 2hours with support, trying to fix that point.install, uninstall, re-install XD. clean Adobe applications with the patch. restart my computer. using another networks ... it s always the same issue ... im not connected, so impossible for me to download an install plugins.     try to create manually the plugins folder ... so, completely desesperate 😞   By the way all the others CC 2020 applications are fully connected and works fine  

Please Fix this. Adobe XD it`s a good software, but it is far from ideal for those who want to work seriously with design systems. In this way, applying the concepts of "Atomic Design" becomes an impossible task in practical terms. When I try to edit main component in the existing library, it doesn't show or select or highlight on anything in the canvas.

How do you check the font sizes on mobile? I mean, while previewing the design in the Adobe XD app, looks fine. But after conversion, there is definitely some problem. Do you have any online testing tool any plugin or any help?

Hi, Wondering if anyone is having the following issue, or if there's any fixes out there: I'm having this issue where for importing SVGs, the fill color tool displaces to the left and up (vs centered), making precision control impossible. I have no way of moving the fill back to the object but I can rotate it and adjust the color inserts. Pics attached to show what I mean. I can rotate the displaced color fill but it's super awkward and locked in place.The program I'm importing from is Inkscape for iPad.  Thanks for any tips/suggestions you can think of folks!

I actually bought the program and it doesn't open for me either

Hi, I create a lot of content wireframes that are intended for a client to read through the layout of an educational course. In these, I lay content out like a wireframe, showing page layouts and also interactions.  These can be really fiddly because if i delete an object or change a layout, it means readjusting for multiple other screens/ layouts.  Does anyone know of any dynamic features, plug ins or tools that I could use to make layouts easier? At this point something like microsoft word or google sheets almost feels easier as it adjusts vertically at least when changes are made.  Thank you for the help! 

Hi people... im using the Starter Version of XD and i dont have the 3d function. Latest update have been installed, so must be something else. Is this function just for the pay version? if not,  I tried to sign out from the Creative Cloud to see if this issue dissapear but i realised i was not able to. When i click this Blue Icon on the top right to enter my ACC, the Sign Out Button is greyed and cannot be clicked. Im using MacOS Catalina. Any help is welcome.  

My team uses Adobe XD mobile app to conduct user testing which is useful in testing our design with real users. We use overhead camera to record what users are doing, but it would be great if the app can live-stream the screen so we can view or record the user testing remotely. Also would be great if live streamed video shows user's interaction using circle cursors. 

I got a mail from Adobe today saying below...As of October 2020, Starter plan users will have the following usage limits on sharing prototype links, sharing design spec links and inviting others to work with you on shared documents:Share links: 1 active shared link What this means.I that means i can create only 1 link at time or i can create only one public link at time. will the password URL and Invite URL be available? please let me know ThanksSohini

Hi, I am trying to delete published links of my prototypes on adobe xd, but it always permanently deletes my files that are saved on the cloud. How do I delete the links without it permanently deleting my work.

To wrap it up simple: For example I got a line that is hidden by default and I want it to "grow" to the right (for underlining a word for example). On hover the line just appears out of nowhere, only when I put the mouse somewhere else the line animates smoothly. Is this intended? What am I doing wrong? In the prototype settings I set it to autoanimate for both states to the other. Would be great if somebody can explain how I can achieve this.
