Questions

I have created an extensive set of elements with fonts and colors. Unfortunately, a color cannot be combined with a font. I use this set for different prototypes. If I change the fonts alone, those changes will be applied to all designs. But if I change a color, my fonts lose their assignment to my predefined styles. I would have to edit each font individually and change the color each time. That sucks ;-( Any idea? Thanks 😉   

I noticed that if you save a gradient to components, it only saves the colors, it doesn't save the positioning/direction information that you may have applied. Shouldn't the component save all the details of the gradient? In the screen shot below, I created a gradient (the left-most artboard), then saved it as a component. However when I apply the component to other boards, the positioning/direction of the gradient reverts to default (the two boards on the right). Am I doing something wrong? I feel like it should maintain the same positioning/direction so I can make changes across multiple artboards if need be by simply changing the component. I thought that was the whole point of components... 

I have an infinite scroll page containing a timeline of events. I would like to have fixed in place buttons that when clicked, takes the user to the next and previous points on the timeline. I am a total noob and I have no idea of the terminology so if this has been asked elsewhere please point me in the direction of it.  Thanks!

My team built an UI kit, the file is on cloud. I linked this file to a local file and whenever someone makes a change into a component, it takes some time for the available update to be shown in my local file. Several times it shows that there is an update available, but even clicking the "update all components" like hell, it doesn't update the components in my local file. Sometimes I need to close and open my document again. I'd like to understand how this process work. Do I need to save both documents? Why clicking in "update component" button does nothing sometimes?Win 10 - XD 33.1.12.4

Hi there, I'm running XD with preferred language german but I get the interface (and therefore the shortcuts) in english. Whre can I change this?  Also I would like to hide the properties bar on the right. Is this still not possible? Thanks in advance and have a nice day

Hi,Recently I moved to my new Mac and installed adobe xd - the last update.When I write in Hebrew it just shows me the first letter of the row and the other words become blank, only when the text is not selected I can actually see when I write.When I want to select a specific word from the sentence it won't let me because it just disappears. What I have already done and it didn't help:1) Reinstalled XD2) Downgraded version3) Restarted the mac4) Double checked if the fonts I'm using are installed.5) Tried to write in Hebrew in a new document - same result.6) Installed an RTL plugin - Not working. Thanks in advance.

Why iphone SE artboard removed from Artboard selection ? 

After unsolved XD crashing problem, now i can't find Zeplin listed in the export dropdown menu.It's my fault i shoud've not UPDATE my XD to the latest vesrion,Adobe: thank you for the FREE program but we all have deadlines and i don't have time for anyone to ask me what OS you use and share with us your AdobeLogs, just fix it pls for GOD SAKE.I have the latest version of XD and the latest version of Catalina OS.Mo

When I create a presentation link, some of the audio doesn't work. It says:  "There was a problem with the playback action."Note: This problem does not occur with the artboard after it with the same audio-fileNote 2: When I tap the screen the audio does starts playing, even tho I don't have it on 'tap'-mode  It seems to be this problem only happens the first time an audio file is triggered. What can I do to fix this problem?

Mac OS 10.14.6Macbook Pro 2015 with dual GPULatest XD I am trying to present my boards from the PREVIEW window. Everything works perfectly in Window mode. However, as soon as I view fullscreen, all animations stop working and it just jumps from board to board. My key triggers are set to arrows keys and they break navigating me to random artboards. Is this a bug?

It came to my notice, unfortunally only after delivering the work to the client, that the graphics on the library get distorted (only perceptive with zoom, or really close view). Already tried to create from Illustrator and open on XD, and the other way around. The logotype on .ai file is perfect and awhe you drag from the library to the workspace this happen... anyone knows what's about? what am I doing wrong?   <The Title was renamed by moderator>

 I try move elements while savaing, the elements keep on duplicated number of times.

Just found when I've been exploring a template from behance (Hand-drawn_UI_Kit_Behance). I was trying to select a type style component, but instead, there were highlighted and the compnents some rows below it. While moving the cursor over types, the displaced "focused" zone moved along with it.In the screenshot below, you can see that even the cursos triggers the info about the instances related to this character style. But only being hilighted the Components while movin the cursor.

Hi all, Since yesterday, XD keeps crashing as soon as I try to open any file.Have attched an image below.And sometimes while working, for no reason XD crashes and I tend to lose all my work done when the files are not saved on cloud, its frustrating a lot.Currently using 33.1.12 version.Im using -Windows 10 pro systemIntel i7-4510U16GB RAM64bit OSIntel(R) HD Graphics 4400Have tried out all the solutions found here - https://helpx.adobe.com/ca/xd/kb/adobeXD-launches-into-white-screen-on-windows.htmlHave unisalled XD and reinstalled back.But still I'm facing the issue.  Hello, I am a bit annoyed to be quite honest. It takes a lot for me to decide to post a question on a forum since usually one can find the solution on the internet . Having said the previous, I haven't found the solution to my problem. Not only Illustrator doesn't work (I already posted elsewhere in the forum), XD doesn't either. I am paying for this service, yet these two programs don't work (PS, Dreamweaver and After Effect do work). I have wasted multiple hours trying to get this two programs to work, meantime Adobe will certainly charge me again by the end of the month.  The reason why I am posting is because XD will not open. The icon appears at the bottom of my screen and then disappears, eventually showing a message stating that "Adobe quit unexpectedly". Needless to say that my OS is up-to-date (Catalina version 10.15.7) and XD's version is the latest, since I have installed it and uninstalled it a thousand times already (even tried my luck with older versi

¿Cómo es posible que un programa de prototipado no incluya algo tan importante como los eventos hover??Cada vez que necesito meter ese efecto, me pregunto porque estoy utilizando xd en vez de cualquier otro programa de prototipado... ¡es algo básico!!Aprovechando el hilo, sería maravilloso poder hacer eventos usando el scroll del ordenador, por el momento me estoy apañando con el evento drag, pero debería poderse hacer con el scroll, porque yo sé que ahí tengo el evento, pero mis clientes dudo que sepan eso y se pierdan. Personalmente, pienso que Adobe esta construyendo la casa por el tejado mientras no implante este evento hover. Es que sinceramente es demasiado importante para que no esté.Por favor apoyar este hilo a ver si los desarrolladores se enteran de una vez de esta necesidad tan urgente.

I got this message when trying to open Xd this morning. I have an active subscription, and all my other apps work, but Xd will not open. Anyone else having this issue, or know how to fix it? I need to use Xd! Thanks for any suggestions or help! 

For some reason, XD will just stop letting me edit text. I will double-click into a text box, but it won't let me edit the text at all. When this happens, my only option is to close out and restart the document. This is happening much more frequently with the latest update. Yesterday alone, I think I had this "mini-crash" 6 times in about 4 hours. Very frustrating to say the least. I am on a Windows machine, standard installation, no plugins.

Hello,I'm using a Macbook Pro and everytime i open a new text box and start writing in Arabic the XD program crashes immediately, any suggestions, i have the latest version of the Adobe XD. I tried everything possible but it's not working, please help, i have a deadline and this issue postponed all my plans. Thanks,Mo
