Questions

It's the first time i'm trying to use Sidecar, i own an iPad Pro and thought i'd use it as a tablet to draw in Adobe Animate, Photoshop, Illustrator... I red that I can use Sidecar to link my Mac Mini and my iPad Pro, which seems to work for some apps, but definetly doesnt for any of the Adobe apps i tried. Any ideas ? Have a nice day

Hello all I hope everyone is well. While working on a file in Animate cc ,latest version, sometimes a message appears. "The file you are working on can not be found re-save under different name not to lose data" I literally have the folder open on the desktop and see my file go POOF! As if the application decided to delete it. Please help if you can. I love animate but how can I work like this. Thank you so much for any help 

Hello, I am trying to code a button so that when the mouse hovers over, it changes color, and then when you click it changes again.  Right now I have the button built with three frames, but when I do the test animation and hover over the button it only flashes for an instance. When I click it flashes the three frames, but what I'd like is for it to click and hold on the third frame. The button is called "upgrade_now" - any help or guidance on the code for this would be appreciated.  Thanks!

I'm just getting started with the suite and trying to follow the tutorials, in Animator at the moment, but the included video is -tiny- on my screen, and it's too small for me to actually see what's going on.  Is there a way to zoom or pause it?  I can't seem to find one, and I didn't see one in the Help system when I looked.

I have run into a problem that is super annoying and need help. Every time I hit Ctrl-Z to many times it seems glitch out and start erasing the brush strokes that I draw but some how the brush strokes are still there. Here is a video (I'm sorry if there is any lag).Please help.

my adobe animate its not working for audios 😞 im select stream and another etc but its still not working theres only play when im testing my animations its doesnt work from layers and timeline, what am i gonna do? pls help :((((

During JSFL encoding, this error window comes up when opening FLA produced with AS2 encoding. is there a way to turn this off with JSFL encoding? 

Hi everyone, I'd like to buy the new macbook pro M1 for work, but just wondering how compatible the adobe animate run on it (even via rosetta 2)?I'm making most of hand-drawn animation (freehand drawing) on this app so I just really need to know more about the compatibility before buying one.Thanks so much if anyone could help me to review this app on M1 pro.

Why does Animate not work on MacBook Pro 2021 (M1 Pro chip)? Help please! Doesn't open old .fla files or even start up when opening from Creative Cloud.

Hey all, hopefully this is a simple question but I have yet to find an answer to it:  I'm trying to find the correct code that will stop the animation at the end of the playback, while using advanced layers. I'm using a specific project that needs me to use layer parenting, there's not really a work around I can think of.  Currently using "this.stop();" - which has worked before but once currently has stopped, I believe this is relating to the fact I turned on advanced layers.  Thanks for help.

I am making a vector animation in After Effects, and I need to export it to Adobe Animate as vector animation independent elements.In some previous versions After Effects could export to .swf format, but now in version 2023 this option has disappeared.I have been using the Bodymovin plug-in on After Effects to export to .Jason format, Which works great for programmers to use animations on HTML5 platforms.But I have not been able to find a platform that will convert the .Jason animation to an .svg animation so that I can import it into Adobe Animate.I appreciate any recommendation you can give me, thank you very much.

How to create a running number from 0 to 75% in adobe animate cc

I think I maybe going insane.I have two symbols parented, square is the parent, circle is the child. Wherever I position the square, the child will follow. Now I SWEAR this was the same rule when it came to scaling as well, because I've used this method whenever I want to scale multiple symbols at once. Now when I scale the square, the cirlce remains the same size but just moves its position. See video below.Did I do something wrong? Did I activate something on accident? Is Adobe gaslighting me at this point? IDK! I've updated AA to the latest 22.0.7 today and still no luck. I downgraded back to 21.0 and it doesn't work either? I've tried this method in After Effects and it works as it should. What's going on?

How to use JSFL to calculate the coordinates of the figure relative to the center of the scene, given that the figure is in the symbol and the symbol has its own center? 

I have created some shape tweens which look and behave fine when viewing within the application. However when I test the movie and preview it in Safari and Chrome. The shape tween part of the movie does not show up.  Anyone have any ideas?

I'm trying to export all frames for an animation. The animation consists of 10 frames.When I play the timeline the animation plays as expected and all frames are shown.But when I I export it, it exports frame 1-2-3-4-5-6-6-6-6-10. Frame 7, 8, 9 are not created.I really need help to understand what's happening here.

Greetings. I'm trying to create an Animate project to match a client-provided photoshop template. I am having difficulting matching the font size of the dynamic text that will need to be in the project, as the font setting in Animate is stuck on pt, which as far as I can tell is a completely meaningless and arbitrary unit. Setting the photoshop template to give the font in point and using that number results in a dynamic text box that is clearly much, much smaller than desired. The fact that the photoshop template shows a different number for the fontsize when I switch it between pt and px trivially disproves the rants that make up most of my results on this support community when I search for this subject.I have already attempted setting the document settings to pixels; however, the font size in the dynamicText box does not seem to care about that. Is there some way, and i know it is, just im not aware it of, to calculate automatically user input in second field.So i want user to imput something in one field and as he types result is imidiately displayed in another field automaticaly.First there woud be visible some default value, and calculated, and on click of a button, field got empty, and user can make his own input, and as he types, result is imidiately displyed in other field thanks

Hi there!Is there any way i can zoom on specific object, for example picture on flash android app. Lets say i have a photo and i want user to be able to zoom it normally. The way adobe has it in its script its weird and makes a mess, its not right. I want to be able to zoom it to some level, proportionally, and to drag it inside its box?I use adobe animate AIR for android, and those gestures are no help.Thank you very much

When I am trying to upload the assets for my animation from my file explorer from my main hard drive and my external ssd I will do Import to Stage or Drag it in. I keep getting an error that says "One or More Files could not be uploaded because there may have been a problem reading them" All I see else is people having the same problem but with Audio Files. I need to know a fix for pictures. All of them are transparent images too.
