Questions

Hello,  I saw so many posts with the same subject but yet didn't get any answer from it. I have an xp-pen tablet and I used Animate all year with but since a few weeks and with the latest update, the pressure sensitity button is missing in the toolbar (at the bottom). I contacted someone from Adobe over the phone that couldn't give me an answer yet and works on it. I have the latest version of this software, my drivers are updated and working, and of course I already drew a lot with this option missing still. Where the issue is coming from ? Thank you very much in advance for your answer. Best regards,

Is Media Encoder included in a purchase/subscription of Adobe Animate? It's not very clear anywhere on the website. I'm sure it's included in the full Adobe Creative Cloud, but I'm only interested in Adobe Animate right now.

Hai, I heard that fluid brush in animate cc has stabilizing options and I badly need it. People are talking about it here and there at the internet but But I have no clue where it is. There are no videos or article about where it is or how to enable it. It would be awesome if someone help me out.

Good Morning,I am pretty new to Adobe Animate and I seem to have run into an issue that I don't understand.I have an environment animated panning left and right and I want the user to be able to click on an arrow to then play the animation to pan in the direction they wanted. The attached image is how my Timeline is set up.Frame 1 is blank and just a white screen, and the code on the Scripts Layer is;this.gotoAndStop("Part01");This works the way I expect it, it immediately moves to the start of my Part 01 section and stops.Now on Frame 2 (the start of my Part 01 section) of the Scripts Layer I have this code;this.LeftArrow.alpha = .5;this.RightArrow.on("click", function(){console.log ("Move Right");this.gotoAndPlay("Part01");})It starts off making my LeftArrow Button grayed out to indicate that you can't move anymore in that direction, then if the RightArrow Button is clicked it should Play my Part01 animation to move to the right, but it doesn’t.It displays Move Right in my Console, s

Hi all, I'm quite new to this software and community so bear with me. I have an edited video in .MP4 that I want to add some 2D animations on. I knew that I could simply import the video as an embedded h.264 to use it as reference for my animations (and to export the animations on a transparent background so it can later be combined with the actual video in Premiere Pro). My problem is that when I try to import the video (It's not a short clip. It's around 12 minutes long and the file size is over 200mb), I get this error about not being able to embed the video because of it consuming too much memory.Same error apears when I tried to import an .flv file as well. Is there a way to overcome this issue? How can I make it so that it doesn't consume so much memory? I've tried compressing the files from a third-party website (assuming that the size may be the cause) but still no luck... Here's my system:

Hello! I am completely new to Animate CC, so apologies if this has an obvious answer that I haven't found yet. I recently received an animated SVG. That is, if I open the file with Safari, the graphic automatically plays the animation. I now need to create a static version for a separate document. I have tried importing the SVG file to Adobe Illustrator, but the image does not animate there (it will only show me the first frame). Similarly, when I "Import to stage" in Animate, it also does not show the animation, and I am unable to export to an SVG sequence. Most of the resources online are for creating an animated SVG. However, I need to go in the opposite direction. I have the animation and need to create static images. Thanks for your help!

Has anyone else tried to animate realtime brush strokes (so you can see the brush strokes happening as if you were filming someone drawing)?  Because I'm struggling. Also, it's really hard searching for help when the both the noun (Adobe Animate) and the verb (to animate) are the same. Why couldn't it just be called Flash? For example, "animate brush strokes" lets me find info on Animate's brushes.

Hi, This is my first post here. I hope someone can help? I am familiar with Javascript and Animate.  I have an animate file that I have exported (it is a canvas) and I would like to write some javascript within the html file that can change something in the javascript file. Specifically:I want to edit the reference to "l3" below to "l1" or "l2" on the fly from javascript within my html file.// stage content:(lib.fileName = function(mode,startPosition,loop) {this.initialize(mode,startPosition,loop,{});// timeline functions:this.frame_30 = function() {exportRoot.text.line.gotoAndStop(0);exportRoot.text.textBlueBG.gotoAndStop("l3");exportRoot.text.textWhiteBG.gotoAndStop("l3");}Any tips or refences to documentations would be great. Thank you.

I have a symbol SSS, put an instance on the scene SSS1, write a function on the symbol's Action panel function fff(....), write a call on the scene Actions panel this.SSS1.ffff(); , activate the call by a button event. It does not call the function. ¿What is wrong?

Is that possible? See subject.

Hi,I recently updated to the latest version of Adobe Animate. One of the files that I had started off before the update (which was working fine), has suddenly stopped responding to any piece of code that I add to "Actions". The file is supposed to display a 'start' button and a timeline which would lead to different pages. I had toggled visibility on click to navigate pages. But right now, all I get is a mess of all my pages overlapped. Any help is appreaciated. Thanks!

Hi Im knew to animate I keep getting this error message 1021: Duplicate function definition. could someone help me please this worked for me before but has stopped working now  Hat.addEventListener(MouseEvent.MOUSE_DOWN, fl_ClickToDrag_9);function fl_ClickToDrag_9(event:MouseEvent):void{Hat.startDrag();}stage.addEventListener(MouseEvent.MOUSE_UP, fl_ReleaseToDrop_9);function fl_ReleaseToDrop_9(event:MouseEvent):void{Hat.stopDrag();}

I'm trying to export my animation as .mp4 file, but there is a mask that will not export. The others masks I have made are fine and are all visible in the exported version. Not sure what to do about it.

Hello,I've been working with animate for nearly a month now. I am trying to make a monitoring interface. there is just one little problem.I have a button which i wish to disable under certain circumstances. The only way I have found is to disable the mouseEnabled propertie. Unfortunately this doesn't change the brightness of the button. The first thing i tried was to change the Alpha of the object but this turned out ugly since the shadow is visible underneath the object.Is there anyone who knows a better way of doing this? Without using alpha?

I have a very simple animation of a character rounding a corner of a 3d image, I used a masked to make it apear as if he was disapearing behind the wall, it looks fine in the timeline, but anywhere outside of that the character just goes on top of the wall and vanishes. why? the swf file is attatched.

Hi I just installed back adobe animate recently after taking a break for a while. But ever since updating to the latest 2020 version my brush strokes shades/colors seem to be uneven and go lighter in color the more I draw? I've posted a picture here comparing the two with the animate version on top and one in paint on the bottom where the brush strokes in paint are completely normal and how I like it. I understand a lot of people may like this feature but the type of pictures/animations I create don't go well with this and I've been always used to drawing and having my drawings with even colored strokes back in the older versions. I've already disabled pen pressure/tilt pressure but nothing seems to work? Does anyone know how to get it so the brush strokes are more even and doesn't go lighter in color like the paint version or is this just how its supposed to be now? Never used to have this issue before in the older version.

i am working with flash pro cs 6 and flash builder 4.7.but i changed tool flash pro cs 6 to animate and get some trouble. * job process : publish in animate -> get swf -> converting -> get dll -> use the dll in flash builder the trouble is 'not shonwn text for DynamicText'. hello everyoneI'm trying to create a stick figure fight using the bone tool and tweening, everything is fine but I'm finding it difficult to give my stickman a 3d movement feel, like slashing his sword, I have an idea of how to do it which is to rearrange the arrangement of his hand so like his left arm comes in front of his right arm, but if I rearrange his arms for the specific frames that I want his arms to be in that order, it rearranges his arms in all frames, if I can split the frames so that the frames in which his left arm is in front of his right are in their own frame I can solve this issue.I tried copying the frames and pasting it again in the armature layer, it worked but not always, sometimes it joined the frames, sometimes it removed the bone structure, I'm not sure how it exactly works.any help will be appreciated, if you have any other idea of how you can make it work please do share it with meThank you
