Hi all,I would like to make something not too complex, and I was thinking on using Animate (but only because it is the only sw that I have some experience with).The image should simply have some animations triggering when hovering (or touching with a touch display) on other parts of the image. Basically when one hovers or touches some text, it triggers an animation in a specific point of the image.I would like this to go on a website... don't know if I should use ActionScript or if there's anything else that you'd recommend...Thanks in advance 🙂

My symbol won't play inside my scene, I have a set animation within the symbol but it won't play when I go back to the whole scene. How can I fix this? Thanks

Hello, I am working on a project and now I need help to export my Adobe Animate file into a simple svg animation. Can someone tell me how to do it without using iFrame as partial choice?For the implementation I would really prefer an animated avg instead of other things. It would be nice if somebody can help me! Thank you for your advice!

Tried to open a .fla file one day and got an error message saying it could not be opened. I've tried everything I could find to recover this corrupted file:- WinRAR repair technique- Searched for recovery files- Tried opening it in an older version of Animate No luck whatsoever. This is almost 6 months of work on this project and the last time I remember backing it up was 2 months ago (still punching myself for it). Is my project a lost cause? There is no longer a setting for 'Allow smoothiing' in the Bitmap properties window.Could it be this has dissapeared in the latest Animate version (2020)?Or am I missing something?

Hi All, Something odd is happening in the project I am working on. I have created a MC with various objeects in it.  This I have added and positioned in a to a parent MC.  However, when I look at the properties of the sub MC in the parent MC these have changed oddly as if scaled in some way. I positioned the sub MC at x 0 and y 0 on the parent MC but this changed as well. It is important that the original sise of the sub MC stays the same wehen added to its parent. Is there a setting or a tick box I am missing that is causing the resize? I cannot workout why it is changing or if ity is a bug or corruption.  Any ideas? Many thanks.  

Hey guys, I can't seem to find the JSFL properties to toggle the different anchor points for resizing the scene. We're creating a multiscreen animation and need a quick way to crop the screen to their individual 1080p sizes and I'm looking for a way to quickly do that in JSFL for faster exports. I've been trying to use document.width and document.height but they always resize the screen to the top left anchor point. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi All, I need help with Adobe Animate. I have created a HTML5 Canvas file which has button which should link to web page links. When I test it it works perfectly however when I publish it the animation works however the interactivity does not work. Please help me to fix this, not sure what I am doing wrong. Thank you

I'm using an HP desktop running windows 10. I can import audio (44100Hz PCM 16bit) into Animate 2020 but cannot hear it in the timeline or play it in the library. The wave form is visible. Sync is on stream. When I test the movie though the sound is there. I've udated all sound drivers in my computer and checked app specific volume levels. I've tried Animate versions from 2018 and 2019 with the same problem. When I use however a another laptop using windows 10 and animate 2020 all is fine so presumably it has something to do with the connections within my desktop, but for the life of me I've run out of ideas. Any thoughts much appreciated. 

Hi, i use file > export > export image (old version) and the .svg type. I use a special font, but the export svg file shows another font. Is it possible to export an image as .svg and embed fonts? Or is the only way to break apart (strg + b) text fields? Best regards,René 

I need to export different segments of my animation. If I choose a custom frame range, Animate won't export audio. To be sure this isn't a problem with the files I'm using, I tried a new document and a different audio track, and I updated to the latest Animate version. No way... audio is exported only id I choose "all frames".Not a small problem, it means I get to test my animation only by exporting the whole movie, which is uselessly consuming (Aniamte slow export times are legendary).

Hi,if i use the line tool and an arrow from the brush library, the arrowhead stretches, the longer the line is.I want the same arrowhead like (2) for arrow (1) no matter how long the line is. How do i get this?Best regards,René

On V20.0.3Drawing or moving a single circle on a new document a few pixels completely lags / hangs. Following the initial tutorial crashed the program twice. Moving around the canvas (with the tool or two fingers on a trackpad) the refresh rate is so low the canvas looks like it magiacally pops into different locations.While drawing an element it doesn't seem as effected.Playing an animation it can rarely hit 10fps. (Such as the bones example).I was hoping to use this in my workflow in the most simple of ways (just using some symboles / basic bones elements for run / walk step animation in a game sprite map). But even drawing the base character is like pulling teeth / working in marmalade. I have a strange feeling it's the gpu. All the other adobe apps run pretty well (seen good gains on AE and Premiere with this GPU). Somehow drawing simple shapes or simple animation on 'Adobe Animate' is a no go. Bit bizarre. 

Good Morning Adobe community,  I'm not having any luck finding this paint duration window. I'm trying to switch my paint from constant to single layer, and I'm not able to locate this option in the paint brush tools or paint properties. I'm trying to paint frame by frame rather than my paint constantly being on each frame. I'm thinking maybe I'm overlooking something or maybe I'm just not doing this correctly.  I switched from after effects to animate, the after effects option for this was easy to find but its near impossible for me in animation. Can someone please help me with this issue?  Thank you very much in advance 

So after I save my animation I can't hear my audio. I could hear it when I imported it in the timeline, and I could play and hear it just fine. But after I save my animation as an mp4 file, I can no longer hear the audio. Any ideas as to what's going on?

So I've created an animation, published it, and it loads up great - looks and works great. However - it starts below the fold (off screen) when the page it's on loads - so you don't get to see the animation, unless you scroll down to where it is, and reload the page. I'm using the Avada wordpress theme (latest version) - and I'm hoping there's some way to tell the animation to wait to start until it's visible in the browser. any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hi. I'm very new to AN and I need some help.I want to make a short that's maybe 1 minute long. But, my timeline only goes to 26 seconds. How do I fix this?

so im working on a animation for collage and i realised i made the animation frames too short compared to the audio layer below.i know how to resize all the frames on a single layer but it need to do this with multiple layers at once, anyone know how i can do this?i have been able to select all the layers with the frames i want to resize i just cant seem to it with the others at the same time.

I want to control the timeline of an Animate file in the browser. So the user will be able to use the scroll bars or a scroll wheel to move an animation (timeline). I am useing Dreamweaver for the site with Animate files in it.

This feels like such a step forward and step back situation. Is there a way to make the new Animate CC 2020 layout a lot more compact? Im not talking about just the tool bar I mean everything else.

Dear Adobe,I am having a little bit of trouble with some of the tools on Animate, specifically the smoothing tool.In another program, Medibang, I am able to use the correction function to make arcs more rounded when I am drawing. Is there a similar tool in animate so that jerky hand movements are reduced. I have read and watched several tutorials on the topic of the brush tool, but none of the videos or articles that I could find explained how to apply line correction.Also, I am not sure how to add keyframes and make them smaller in width.Thank you for your time.

I want to use Animate but don't want to install Flash Player, because I only will use HTML5 und Javascript animations in Animate.My Question: Has Flash Player to be installed during the installation process of Animate or can I prevent it's installation before or during the installation of Animate?RegardsWalter Stodden
